Silver 2008 Volkswagen Jetta Se Sedan 4-door 2.5l Manual Drive! Great Condition! on 2040-cars
New Orleans, Louisiana, United States
This is a great car and it's only being sold because it isn't used enough. She comes fully loaded with a grey leather interior and a 2.5L engine. Excellent condition, owned by a non smoker, with new tires. Very low milage and well-maintained. Last service replaced all fluids with longer lasting, synthetic fluids. Very fun to drive 5 speed manual transmission. History: Car was purchased from dealer in Florida in November 2011 with 44K miles on it. It had one other owner before the current seller. No exposure to salt. Interior: The seats are in perfect condition, the steering wheel has been covered with protectant and shines. The dashboard is flawless. Exterior: Overall in great shape, it's never been in an accident or repainted. One small scratch on rear bumper and one on the driver's side mirror. Engine and Tran: Runs strong, no engine lights are lighting up on the dash, transmission shifts beautifully, very zippy. Tires: Brand new! Over 90% of tread left, only 2k total miles on all tires. Extras! *2 transponder keys with flip out keys *Just-In-Case roadside emergency and first aid kit *Fire Extinguisher *Spare Tire and Tire Jack *Portable Air Compressor (plugs into car's jack) *New, upgraded, top of the line AutoCraft GOLD Battery *MP3 Connector Cable This car has amazing gas milage, especially since replacing the oil with synthetic and you will love her. 2015 VW Golf R caught getting a flogging on 'Ring
Wed, 22 May 2013The upcoming version of the Volkswagen Golf R is nearly ready for prime time, if this video of the car flying around the Nürburgring is any indication. The all-wheel-drive R seems to make quick, neat work of the corners we see here, and sounds pretty devilish in the process.
Expectations are that the new Golf R will run a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder (what else?), tuned to produce even more than the current car's 256 horsepower. (Some sources have indicated outputs as high as 286 horsepower, with 280 pound-feet of torque. It's still not clear if Volkswagen will bring the six-speed dual-clutch transmission to the US-spec Golf R in this next go-round or if we'll stick to having only... eh... the stick.
In either case - watching the video below will only whet your appetite for the new, highest performing member of the Golf family.
Volkswagen Golf Wagon leaked ahead of official unveiling
Sat, 02 Mar 2013Wagons ho! These three images of the upcoming Volkswagen Golf Wagon have leaked online ahead of the car's official debut, which may very well be at the Geneva Motor Show. Looking over the photos doesn't really bring any surprises - after all, this is a VW Golf with a wagon rear end grafted on, or basically what we expect next Jetta SportWagen will be.
We can only share these three images at this time, but fret not, folks. There's little doubt that all the details and images will be flowing from Volkswagen in short order. In the meantime, click on the images above to view them in high resolution.
Volkswagen offers Beetle Classic, priced from $20,195*
Tue, 23 Sep 2014The current Volkswagen Beetle already tries to be a fairly retro-looking ride by cribbing styling elements from the iconic original. However, for the new, limited-edition Classic model, VW is hopping into the time machine to grab even more vintage cues. The company is even cutting the price, perhaps in hopes of turning around flagging sales this year. You don't need to wait long for any of these upgrades either because the automaker says that the Classic goes on sale this week for $20,195, *excluding the $820 destination charge. That's $100 less than a bone-stock Beetle.
Starting as a standard Beetle with VW's 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 170 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque, the Classic edition comes with a six-speed automatic and then adds some retro flair. It includes new vintage-look 17-inch wheels with simulated dog dish polished hubcaps over black spokes. It also comes with a rear spoiler, and the automaker is offering the model in Pure White, Black Uni, and Reflex Silver.
The interior mixes in a few more classic touches but includes modern amenities like a standard navigation system, satellite radio and multifunction steering wheel. However, the seats are finished in a two-tone design combining light brown leatherette on the sides and checked cloth centers, plus lumbar support for the driver's side. The shift knob and handbrake also get wrapped in leather.
