If you have been looking for a beautiful, low mile Jetta and would love to have the 2.5 model
and love black then you are going to love my 2007 model with only 78k rust free, accident free Florida miles! This
Jetta is in great shape inside and out and is very dependable and fun to drive and it gets 28mpg on the highway! It
has a clean Autocheck report and received a perfect score of 84 points out of a possible 84 points so you know it has
a great history. Autocheck also confirms no accidents or problems and it is a true rust free Florida car as well,
even the underside still looks near new, you won't see that on any northern vehicle. It was traded in at our local
Chevrolet dealership as well in this nice shape, NO auctions! What a beautiful car in person as well as the pictures.
The black VW paint has a deep shine and there are no dents or scrapes, just a few light door dings form normal use.
The tires and wheels are in good shape and the headlights are nice and clear as well. The interior too looks great
and there are no stains, rips or odors and this is a non-smoker's car so it is very fresh inside. The VW leather
style seats look new both front and rear and there is plenty of room inside and a good sized truck. All the power
options work great including the ice cold air conditioning (which I just had serviced) and the nice 6-cd stereo that
sounds great. Again, look at the pictures, it's a pretty car. What a pleasure to drive, so smooth and quiet! The
peppy 2.5 engine runs smooth as silk and should with only 78k miles and again will deliver 28mpg on the highway. This
car will save you a bundle on gas and repairs. The brakes are smooth as is the transmission and suspension with no
shakes or rattles, just as you would expect from a well cared for, low mile Florida car. It has front and side air
bags and anti-lock brakes making it a safe car for your child. Look it over good and I'm sure once you see and take
it for a spin around the block you are sure to fall in love. I have the factory books and a key with remote. I
have great feedback so you can be sure that this vehicle will be just as nice as I am stating. Should you need help
with shipping call me, if you decide to fly into Ft.Myers to pick it up in person I will meet you at our local
airport right here in town. I know buying a vehicle you haven't driven is a little scary so I try to make it easy as
well as fun!! As with all my vehicles, this one was put through a safety check to be sure it is safe and road
worthy. This includes an oil change and an inspection of the brakes, belts, hoses, tires, fluid levels, etc. It's
just one more thing I can do to make this a good experience for you. I encourge you to call with any questions @ 239
-872-5281. Thanks! ![]()

In a sternly worded letter, the United States Environmental Protection Agency has issued a new set of allegations against Volkswagen claiming that so-called emissions defeat software has been found in the company's 3.0-liter TDI V6 diesel engines. This is a completely different engine than the 2.0 TDI that has already been identified as an emissions cheater. In addition to VW, the EPA has included Audi and Porsche in this notification, as the non-compliant engine has been used in vehicles from all three manufacturers from model years 2014 through 2016. The EPA claims that cars equipped with the 3.0 TDI engine know when they are being tested for emissions, and their on-board computers switch into a mode designed to pass the stringent requirements in the United States for diesel exhaust. Vehicles sold in the United States with this engine include the 2014 VW Touareg, 2015 Porsche Cayenne, and 2016 Audi A6, A7, A8L and Q5. The EPA says there are 10,000 vehicles currently on the road with this second defeat device, along with an unknown number of 2016 models either on dealer lots or in the driveways of consumers. According to the EPA, VW's 3.0-liter TDI, like the 2.0 TDI that was found to circumvent US regulations, has code in its computer specifically written to intentionally put the vehicle's engine into a mode that allows it to meet exhaust requirements. When the vehicle is unhooked from testing equipment, it will go back into a mode that emits nine-times higher nitrogen oxide emissions than is allowable under US law. "VW has once again failed its obligation to comply with the law that protects clean air for all Americans," said Cynthia Giles, Assistant Administrator for the Office for EPA's Enforcement and Compliance Assurance. "All companies should be playing by the same rules. EPA, with our state, and federal partners, will continue to investigate these serious matters, to secure the benefits of the Clean Air Act, ensure a level playing field for responsible businesses, and to ensure consumers get the environmental performance they expect." Richard Corey, Executive Officer of the California Air Resources Board, said in a statement, "Today we are requiring VW Group to address these issues. This is a very serious public health matter. ARB and EPA will continue to conduct a rigorous investigation that includes testing more vehicles until all of the facts are out in the open." This story will be updated as new information becomes available.

The Kim Kardashian sex tape just keeps on giving: it brought the Three Golden Sisters to our attention, and now Volkswagen has used their comedic, Bronx grandmother schtick to promote its TDI engines. The ads are another round in the fight against the malicious perceptions of diesel – like how they're slow and loud (they aren't), that it's hard to find a station to refill (it isn't), and that they stink (they don't). Tanner Foust makes an appearance in one spot to dispel the notion of sluggishness, and Tuna the Dastardly Dog proves that she (or he?) can outstink a diesel any day. You'll find Tuna in the ad above, the other three ads are below. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. It is one thing to say you are going to Frankenstein a Tesla Model S with a pair of Siamese-twinned Volkswagen Vanagons and quite another to actually start taking your newly-acquired, smashed-up electric sedan apart in an effort to bring it back to life. Otmar Ebenhoech is doing just that, and having no small successes along the way. The Stretchla project, as it is being called, has officially started and our protagonist has put together another bit of video to document his progress and let us know about some of the different challenges he's encountered and conquered. While our original post about this endeavor featured video of the stretched Vanagon's drivetrain removal, this latest installment focuses on the Model S. Otmar received the Tesla in less-than-operable condition. Otmar received the Tesla in less-than-operable condition and has been tackling some of the basic problems one might expect to encounter: lots of error messages and an electrically disconnected battery pack. Without the aid of a manual or technical diagrams, he's removed the battery pack and discovered why it wasn't sending power to the car. Scroll below to watch the ten-minute presentation and celebrate some initial victories. You can also check out the official Stretchla blog for more photos and updates, including the most recent one that discusses how he talked himself into paying (*spoiler alert) $42,000 for a wrecked, non-functional electric car, along with more recent struggles with the steering rack. Hit us up in the comments to let us know what kind of trouble you would get into with a Model S drivetrain of your own. This content is hosted by a third party.
