2009 VW Jetta 2.0L TDI SportWagen 85k miles
It comes with 6 spd automatic, power windows, doors mirrors, A/C, cruise, heated seats, aluminum wheels and ABS. The vehicle has 85000 miles and it is in good condition. V-Tex Leatherette interior, - Titan Black, Candy White exterior, Tinted Windows , power windows, locks, 4 new Tires - Bridgestone ECOPIA, Original floor mats. Engines start right up, it does not smoke, NO Knocking, NO leaks and NO over-heat. The Automatic Transmission -DSG (direct-shift gearbox). I bought this car with some body damage on the rear end. I replaced only rear bumper cover(OEM),right pocket of tail light(OEM) and the tail light(OEM), trunk lid glass.The paint is OEM except R/quarter panel,rear bumper and trunk lid. I have a lot pictures of the process rebuild. There was no frame, suspension or wheel damage. I had the car fixed and inspected.All Airbags are intact(original).Clean inside and outside, brakes like new, all filters and fluids replaced, maintenance up to date, drives really nice and smooth, feels like a new car. Paint shines like new, there are a couple of small dings and scratches around the car but nothing major. It is very dependable and really good on fuel. I have been driving this car daily for the past 2 months and everything checks out really good. Ca Salvage Title. Fuel Economy: Up to 600 miles on a tank of diesel, 30-36mpg city, 36-45mpg hwy. VW Golf R pre-order sells out in less than 11 hours
Fri, Jan 9 2015Volkswagen fans had to be pretty quick if they wanted to ensure their pre-order for one of the first 500 units of the 2015 Golf R to enter the US. The German brand opened the books online at at 12:01 AM EST, and according to company spokesperson Leigh Anne Sessions speaking to Autoblog, by around 10:30 AM EST all of them were snapped up. VW's pre-order page currently shows these vehicles as no longer available, and the company confirms the news on Twitter, as well. There's still a chance to get an early Golf R by signing up for the waiting list and hoping one of the 500 orders falls through. VW Customer Care will contact people if there's an opening. Italian investigators search Lambo headquarters in VW probe
Thu, Oct 15 2015Italian investigators searched Lamborghini headquarters on Oct. 15 to look for evidence of managers' involvement in Volkswagen's emissions cheating. VW's main office in Verona was also inspected, according to Reuters. Lamborghini is owned by Volkswagen, and Lambo in turn is listed as the owner of VW Group Italia. Authorities wanted to find out if employees were conscious that the vehicles were skirting emissions rules. "It is one thing if I sell water and pretend it's wine, but if I sell water believing it is wine it's different." Verona chief prosecutor Mario Giulio Schinaia said to Reuters. Italian newspaper Gazetta del Sud reported that several managers in Italy were under investigation for alleged fraud. Prosecutors in Germany have also been rigorously investigating VW, and they recently staged a similar raid on the company's headquarters in Wolfsburg, Germany. The automaker reportedly turned over documents and other data relating to the software defeat device. Meanwhile, VW's internal investigation has turned up little wrongdoing, though a recent leak suggested otherwise, and at least 30 managers could have known about the defeat device. The automaker has disputed that figure. Volkswagen of America CEO Michael Horn testified before Congress that he believed only a few individuals were involved. The situation hasn't been easy on VW in the US, either. The Department of Justice has also been pursuing an investigation into the automaker. Plus, state attorneys general are filing lawsuits against the company for defrauding customers. VW has until Nov. 20 to explain a repair for the problem to the California Air Resources Board. VW Jetta TDI Value Edition drops price of diesel ownership to $21,295*
Wed, 08 Jan 2014Getting a new diesel-powered car just got a bit easier. Volkswagen has announced a new Jetta TDI Value Edition for 2014 that trims over $2,000 off the starting price of a Jetta TDI, making the most affordable diesel-powered car in America even more so. Prices start at $21,295 (*plus $820 for destination) for a Value Edition with a six-speed manual transmission, while a six-speed dual-clutch automatic adds $1,100 to the price. For that money, owners will get 140 horsepower, 236 pound-feet of torque and 42 miles per gallon on the freeway.
Despite the lower price and being down on content versus the previous base Jetta TDI, the Value Edition does come quite well equipped, with standard heated cloth seats, a six-speaker stereo with a Media Device Interface, satellite radio, and one-touch, up-down power windows on all four doors. Customers will be giving up some notable stuff though, including tilt/telescopic steering, Bluetooth streaming audio, power seats and a multi-function steering wheel.
Still, if you're aching to get your hands on a new TDI, this is now the most affordable way to do it. We suspect having the lower MSRP will help the German manufacturer make even further diesel-powered inroads here in the States, a land where they cleared their decks of over 100,000 TDI models in 2013.
