No reserve!  This van will sell to the highest bidder.  2000 Volkswagen Eurovan Winnebago Camper with only 35k gently used miles.  One owner and has been wonderfully cared for its entire life. If you are looking for a brand new Eurovan Camper, this is the closest you are going to get as they do not make them anymore.  Up for sale is Grandma's beloved camper, with only 35,304k original miles and original owner. Still has all dealer information when bought off the lot, manual, sales window sticker, vhs tape, etc.

Everything in this van is in original, like new condition.  A few of the highlights, 35k original miles, original owner, perfect interior, no rust, no body damage, just received 40k service ($800), overall this van is a 9.9/10. The fridge and stove have never been used.  The paint is all original and in near perfect condition.  Van has never been in an accident and has a perfect AutoCheck report.  I can forward the AutoCheck report to any interested parties.  This van scored a 99.  Simply put, you will probably not find a nice Eurovan camper for sale.
If you have less than 10 feedback, please contact me prior to bidding.  I have lost out on non-serious, low feedback bidders before.  You are encouraged to view the van before the auction ends or welcome to send anyone to view it for you.  Van just received a full 40k mile service ($800) and inspection from the dealer and passed all inspections.  This camper is the real deal and is in near perfect condition.  The pop canvas could use a little cleaning but nothing too serious.  Comes with a clean CA title and current registration.  Passes CA Smog with no problems.  Willing to help accomodate shipping needs.

Please read the complete description and view all the pictures before asking any questions.  If you have any unanswered questions feel free to ask.  I have taken over 100 pics of the van that you can see here:

2015 VW Golf R caught getting a flogging on 'Ring

Wed, 22 May 2013

The upcoming version of the Volkswagen Golf R is nearly ready for prime time, if this video of the car flying around the Nürburgring is any indication. The all-wheel-drive R seems to make quick, neat work of the corners we see here, and sounds pretty devilish in the process.
Expectations are that the new Golf R will run a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder (what else?), tuned to produce even more than the current car's 256 horsepower. (Some sources have indicated outputs as high as 286 horsepower, with 280 pound-feet of torque. It's still not clear if Volkswagen will bring the six-speed dual-clutch transmission to the US-spec Golf R in this next go-round or if we'll stick to having only... eh... the stick.
In either case - watching the video below will only whet your appetite for the new, highest performing member of the Golf family.

United States drivers buying fewer Mexican-made cars

Tue, May 10 2016

Crossovers and pickup trucks are not only growing in market share, they're also more profitable than cars. A crossover on the same platform as a sedan retails for thousands more, despite similar components. It's one of the reasons we've seen automakers rapidly shifting production of their sedans and hatchbacks to Mexico, where cheap labor preserves the thin profit margins on these inexpensive vehicles. But as the market continues to shift in the United States, Mexico is getting burned by its lack of product diversity. The country's auto exports, which are heavy on cars, suffered a 16-percent drop last month, Automotive News reports. In total, year-over-year exports fell from 233,515 to 197,020 last month, while year-to-date exports are down by 7.4 percent, from 922,029 to 854,118. The number one culprit? America – which usually accounts for 75 percent of Mexico's exports – and its appetite for crossovers and pickup trucks bolstered by cheap gas prices. While Mexico does build some light truck models – AN specifically calls out the Ram 2500, Honda HR-V, GMC Sierra, and Toyota Tacoma as export leaders – the vast majority of vehicles rolling out of its factories are sedans and hatchbacks. In fact, the three biggest drops in Mexican exports came from companies whose south of the border factories only build cars – Ford (Fusion/Lincoln MKZ and Fiesta), Mazda (Mazda3), and Volkswagen (Golf and Jetta). Mexican Automotive Industry Association President Eduardo Solis told AN the export shortfall will likely be sorted out sooner rather than later, thanks to a pair of new factories – a Kia car factory and an Audi SUV plant – that are coming online by year's end. The two facilities will add around 100,000 vehicles to the country's export totals, which Solis said should leave the industry on the verge of breaking another export record in 2016. But how sustainable will these record-breaking years be? Slapping an "Hecho en Mexico" sticker on a new German SUV won't be enough to change the fact that Mexico's product mix is tilted too heavily towards body styles that are not growing in volume. Mexico's record-breaking export years probably aren't at an end, but we'd argue they're certainly under threat. VW TDI ads star four 'salty' ladies and a stinky dog named Tuna

Sun, Mar 22 2015

The Kim Kardashian sex tape just keeps on giving: it brought the Three Golden Sisters to our attention, and now Volkswagen has used their comedic, Bronx grandmother schtick to promote its TDI engines. The ads are another round in the fight against the malicious perceptions of diesel – like how they're slow and loud (they aren't), that it's hard to find a station to refill (it isn't), and that they stink (they don't). Tanner Foust makes an appearance in one spot to dispel the notion of sluggishness, and Tuna the Dastardly Dog proves that she (or he?) can outstink a diesel any day. You'll find Tuna in the ad above, the other three ads are below. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
