His family needed to upgrade to a motor home, so he sold it to me when it had only 11, 000 miles. I have loved this van and taken care of it with a help of a team of excellent master mechanics. I wanted this van to last as long as it can! Unfortunately, my needs have changed and I have changed residence too, and now I need a smaller car. I would like to see this van get a good use out of it at the hand of a rightful new owner. Please be advised I have reported an incident in 2004 when I left the van at the airport, someone must have bumped into it and made a little ding and scratched the side panel. My deductible on my insurance did not make sense to repair the minor damage, so the dent and the scratches are still on the van to this date. Also, there are a few minor imperfections on the exterior over the years. I will try to show them in the pictures. Please take a good look. As for the interior, it is near perfect with no tears. It is very clean since I was the only one driving this van and did not drive it that much either. One thing that is missing is one of the plastic flap that covers the area under the 3rd seat, but my friend has made me a substitute panel for it. You can buy the panel, but this worked fine for me. Mechanically everything as far as I know works perfectly well and since I had Over All Check performed by a master mechanic just recently, it continues to runs like a dream! Only thing not working is the driver's side power mirror, since I have it set in my fixed position, I didn't have to move it anyway, but this has to be addressed by the new owner, so I will price this van accordingly. Hope I have listed everything I know about the van, but please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you for reading this and hope you will find it helpful. Enjoy! |

Editors' Choice: Top Five 2013 Geneva Motor Show Debuts
Fri, 08 Mar 2013We've returned from a very busy week in Switzerland, and in going back over all of our 75 stories from the Geneva Motor Show, our editors have gathered up their personal favorite debuts from the European expo.
The wonderful thing about the Geneva show is just how wide of an array of vehicles are on display - everything from funny little one-off EVs to the most exotic of supercars to, well, truly ridiculous displays of coachbuilding. And because of that, this list of our editors' favorites might not be as predictable as you think.
But we don't want to give anything away just yet. Scroll down to have a look at our team's favorites from Geneva.
VW pondering low-cost sub-brand for China?
Wed, 30 Jan 2013More detail is being sketched into the Volkswagen Group's plan to launch a low-cost brand for emerging markets. Late last year a German report quoted a VW rep saying that the brand has been interested in building a no-frills car, the kind that would challenge Dacia and Datsun, for a while. With both Proton and Suzuki effectively out of the partnership picture, a report in Reuters suggests VW could go straight to China, developing a car with its joint venture partners and building and selling it there.
Officially, company CEO Martin Winterkorn said the issue of a model for emerging markets would be decided this year but VW isn't any closer to confirming any kind of plan for a car in its portfolio underneath the Up!, remarking to Reuters about the China possibility, "That's an issue we're currently looking at."
Volkswagen rules out more potent Polo R
Wed, Dec 10 2014Volkswagen may be planning ever more powerful versions of its Golf, but don't expect that lust for power to trickle down to the smaller Polo anytime soon as the German automaker has reportedly ruled out the prospect of making a Polo R. This according to Autovisie, the automotive section of Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, in speaking to VW representatives at the launch of the new Polo GTI. Where the previous Polo GTI offered 177 horsepower, the new one packs 189 and is available with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The company briefly offered a Polo WRC Street with 220 horsepower, but that was only for a limited edition that Autovisie says will not be repeated for mainstream production. Which may just be for the best, as far as we're concerned, as no versions of the Polo are offered in the US, and we don't need yet another piece of forbidden fruit we can't get our hands on. The decision may seem at odds with the Polo R WRC rally machine with which Volkswagen has been dominating the World Rally Championship for the past two seasons, but was likely made in order to keep the Polo from infringing on Golf territory. VW currently offers the Golf GTI with 210 horsepower and the Golf R with 292, and showcased an even more powerful version with nearly 400 hp.
