2003 VW Eurovan MV

Justin 503-969-5127

Hello in eBay land..  Yes, this is it!  The final year Eurovan..  And in the favored MV configuration.  Most of you reading this ad will know better than I what the MV is, but for the benefit of those that are just learning about these versatile vehicles, let me explain..  In the Eurovan MV the second row of seats face the rear and are removable, the third row converts into a bed.  There is a folding table in the passenger area as well.  The windows have removable window curtains too.   There is also a  fluorescent lamp above table.

The MV is, in my opinion, the most versatile of the Eurovan configurations.  It is fun and easy to camp out of, and works perfectly as an everyday van for the family.  It also is the best mobile office vehicle I have ever used.  I use the table as a desk and am able to conduct business anywhere I go.  The Eurovan does all of this while being the only “minivan” with elegance and style too.  It may be 11 years old, but there is still nothing made today that is close to this.

It seats 7 passengers and is easy to get them in and out.  No climbing around seats or moving them out of the way.  Just jump in and go.  They are also super easy to see out of as the windows are all around the van.  No blind spots and also a higher seating position that helps you see over other cars.

This Eurovan is Silver Metallic with Gray Velour cloth interior.  It is clean and beautiful inside and out.  There are no stains or rips in the interior.  There has never been smoke or pets inside.  Folks with a keen eye will see that one of the cup holders had a broken cover, but that has been replaced since the photos were taken.

This VW is 100% ready.  It needs nothing to be used and enjoyed today.  All the services are up to date and everything works perfectly.  The Air Conditioning blows ice cold and the heated seats will burn your backside on the highest level.  The engine starts instantly always and never smokes or drips anything.  The tires are also new this season and are Blizzaks made for winter driving.  If you want to exchange them for an all season type please let me know and I will be happy to do that for the winner of the auction.  I also have all of the curtains and the books and manuals.

If I am forgetting to mention anything it is not a negative, because there are very few.  This is a super nice and extra clean Eurovan MV that will impress the next owner just as much as it has me.  Bid with confidence and please ask questions if you have them.  I also can give instant shipping quotes so let me know where you are and I will tell you what it would cost to get it to you.  Or fly out and drive it home and make a vacation out of it!  I will hold the van as long as you need me to as long as it’s paid for.

I am selling the Eurovan with a LOW RESERVE and I know the VW will sell the first go around as long as we all play by these rules.

#1.  Only bid if you have intentions to buy.

#2. Ask any and all questions before bidding.

#3. Please contact me BEFORE BIDDING if you have zero or negative feedback.

#4. This is an AS-IS sale.  I have done my best to describe it exactly as I see it but it has no warranties or guarantees.

#5. I will not accept Pay-Pal for the balance payment of the van.  Pay-Pal is for the deposits only, the balance must be paid by certified check or wire.  Legitimate and legal buyers only please.

Just be real and genuine and I will make sure that the winning bidder is happy with his or her purchase.  I have 100% positive feedback and I plan on keeping that.  Also, I will end the sale for the right offer so don’t wait till the last second and worry about missing out.  Just call me and we will work out a fair price..

VW may move production because of Russia's cutoff of natural gas

Sun, Sep 25 2022

Volkswagen AG is exploring ways to counter a shortage in natural gas, including shifting production around its network of global facilities, signaling how the energy crisis unleashed by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine threatens to upend EuropeÂ’s industrial landscape. Volkswagen, EuropeÂ’s biggest carmaker, said Thursday that reallocating some of its production was one of the options available in the medium term if gas shortages last much beyond this winter. The company has major factories in Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, which are among European countries most reliant on Russian gas, as well as facilities in southern Europe that source energy from elsewhere. “As mid-term alternatives, we are focusing on greater localization, relocation of manufacturing capacity, or technical alternatives, similar to what is already common practice in the context of challenges related to semiconductor shortages and other recent supply chain disruptions,” Geng Wu, VolkswagenÂ’s head of purchasing, said in a statement.  RussiaÂ’s decision to throttle gas supplies to Europe has raised concerns that Germany might be forced to ration its fuel. Recent news that gas storage levels hit 90% ahead of schedule has soothed fears of acute shortages this winter, but Germany faces a challenge in replenishing depleted reserves next summer without contributions from Russia. Southwestern Europe or coastal zones of northern Europe, both of which have better access to seaborne liquefied natural gas cargoes, could be the beneficiaries of any production shift, a Volkswagen spokesman said by phone. The Volkswagen group already operates car factories in Portugal, Spain and Belgium, countries that host LNG terminals. Labor hurdles To be sure, any major production shift away from EuropeÂ’s biggest economy would face significant hurdles. VW has some 295,000 employees in Germany and worker representatives account for around half the companyÂ’s 20-member supervisory board. Any shift in production would likely involve a limited number of vehicles rather than wholesale factory shutdowns. While gas supplies for VWÂ’s plants are currently secured, the company has identified potential savings at its European sites to cut gas consumption by a “mid-double-digit percentage,” said Michael Heinemann, managing director of VWÂ’s power-plant unit. Still, the carmaker said it was concerned about the effect high gas prices could have on its suppliers.

2013 Volkswagen GTI Driver's Edition brings exclusivity to the granddaddy of hot hatches

Thu, 07 Feb 2013

The Volkswagen booth at this year's Chicago Auto Show was filled with various special edition models of the Beetle and GTI. In addition to the GTI Wolfsburg Edition, the Volkswagen GTI Driver's Edition helps to wrap up the 2013 model year as VW readies the all-new MkVII Golf next year.
Only 3,000 of the GTI Driver's Edition models will be produced in four-door body style only, and the available color palette will be limited to just Candy White, Carbon Steel Gray and Deep Black. The package will come standard with the GTI's Sunroof and Navigation package, and it will add unique features such as the 18-inch "Laguna" wheels, a golf-ball shift knob, partial leather seats and red-stitching on the carpeted floor mats. Buyers of this package will also get a certificate of authenticity and some GTI swag such as a hat, keychain and parking sign.
Starting price for the 2013 Volkswagen GTI Driver's Edition is $29,695 with the six-speed manual and $30,795 if you choose the DSG - both prices exclude destination charges.

Lamborghini and Bentley may hold off on SUVs so VW can conserve cash

Thu, 11 Oct 2012

After surveying the European economic scene, Volkswagen may have decided now is not the time to launch utility vehicles with Bentley and Lamborghini badges. Bentley officials say they will continue to push for support for the EXP 9 F and Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelman has said planning for the Urus will continue until VW tells it to stop.
That decision could come on November 23, when VW's board will vote on the company's budget for equipment, factories and vehicles. With VW's sales slowing and the Euro economy slumping further, some industry watchers say the company is more likely to build its cash reserves than to introduce super-expensive luxury SUVs or crossovers.
"Such vehicles are anything but obligatory during a crisis," says Frankfurt-based Equinet AG analyst Tim Schuldt in a new Automotive News Europe story. "Delaying their launch would be no drama but help save costs."
