2010 Volkswagen Cc Lux - 40k Miles Only, Original Owner, Fully Loaded on 2040-cars
Phoenix, Arizona, United States
|
I'm the original owner of this car and I purchased it in April 2010. Always hand washed and extremely well cared for over the years. It surely does turn heads and is a fun car to drive and be driven in. All scheduled maintenance, repairs, tire change performed at the dealership where I purchased it from - Larry Miller VW Avondale (Phoenix, Arizona).
This is the Luxury model with both the Appearance and the Technology package which is hard to find. It was a special order back when I purchased it and I had to wait a month for it, to be directly shipped from Germany. I've been told by the dealer that they don't make this configuration anymore i.e. Appearance and Technology package with Cornsilk Beige dual tone interior anymore for the 2.0 Turbo 4-cylinder engine. I have replaced all 4 tiers with brand new Continental ContiPro run flat tires last year. Tires are also under warranty from the dealership. I have 40k miles (mostly highway) on in it in 4 years (10k mi/year) so it's hardly been driven. There is a penny size dent (hardly noticeable) on the lip spoiler of the truck, other than that there are absolutely no dents, scuff marks, damages etc. The car has been detailed quite often and not smoked in ever. It's a fully loaded car, you name the option this has it. 200hp turbo engine is great when you need power and easy on gas when you are cruising. The tiptronic transmission allows you to manually change the gears when you need/feel like or simply leave it in drive mode. It also has a Sport mode which is pure joy. No accidents, clean title and low miles. Mileage: 40,300 Body Style: Sedan Exterior Color: Candy White Interior Color: CornSilk Beige VIN: WVWHN7AN6AE551965 Fuel: Gasoline Engine: 2.0L I4 16V GDI DOHC Turbo Transmission: 6-Speed Automatic with Auto-Shift and Sport Mode Drivetrain: FWD Doors: 4 Features: Voice Command Navigation, Bi-Xenon turning headlamps, fog lights, 18" Interlagos wheels, two-tone interior, auto headlights, homecoming light, automatic dual -zone climate control, cruise control, bluetooth voice recognition, drive and passenger memory seats with lumbar support....and to many to list. |

VW consumer site finally gets configurator tool back
Tue, Mar 10 2015The traditional vehicle configurator is back on the Volkswagen US consumer website, and it works very well. The company now lets visitors create a virtual model to their own specs and then search for a match among dealer inventories, as is the norm from most automakers. Last summer, Volkswagen tried to break the mold with its thoroughly redesigned consumer website in the US. It sported a slick design but made the highly controversial change of removing the configurator. Instead, visitors were narrowing their selection from a searchable database of models already at dealers. While the streamlined approach immediately told users if their desired car was available, the system also largely hid the prices for options and packages. The newly tweaked design retains the previous tablet-oriented layout, but after clicking a model, the site immediately offers "Build Yours." From there, visitors select a trim, and then the vehicle pops up with options to choose things like colors and packages. The whole layout is clean, features large buttons and works quickly. At the summary page, there's still the opportunity to search for the user's choice in dealer inventories. This is definitely a major improvement.
Pontiac Aztek enjoys rebirth thanks to Millennials
Fri, Sep 11 2015Apparently, Millennials – those between 18 and 34 – aren't afraid to look different on the road, and they like performance, too. A new study by Edmunds is discovering some surprising vehicle choices by this group. Among them, the long-derided Pontiac Aztek is getting a new day in the sun with 25.5 percent its buyers coming from this generation in the first half of 2015. For comparison, Millennials represent an average of 16.8 percent of used car purchases. The Aztek is slowly shaking its reputation as a styling abomination, which seems tied to its appearance on Breaking Bad. The show premiered in 2008, and the Pontiac has been on this list for four of the past five years, according to Edmunds. It even led the pack in 2010. A recent Retro Review from MotorWeek also showed that the crossover wasn't always so hated. While it's still a shock to see the Aztek on any popularity list, the awkward-looking crossover only ranks sixth among Millennials. The vehicle with the biggest portion of buyers from the generation is the Dodge Magnum with 27.6 percent. According to Edmunds, the bluntly styled wagon is especially popular in Detroit and Chicago. The Chrysler Pacifica comes in a close second at 27.3 percent. When it comes to used cars, value and utility appear to trump just about anything else for many Millennial buyers," Edmunds analyst Jeremy Acevedo said in the report. Young buyers aren't afraid of sporty rides, either. The Subaru WRX has 26.4 percent Millennial buyers to rank third place on the list, and the Volkswagen R32 takes fifth at 25.7 percent. Just a few points lower in seventh place is the Nissan GT-R at 25.4 percent, and the final performance machine in 10th place is the Lexus IS-F with 24.7 percent. Related Video:
Which electric cars can charge at a Tesla Supercharger?
Sun, Jul 9 2023The difference between Tesla charging and non-Tesla charging. Electrify America; Tesla Tesla's advantage has long been its charging technology and Supercharger network. Now, more and more automakers are switching to Tesla's charging tech. But there are a few things non-Tesla drivers need to know about charging at a Tesla station. A lot has hit the news cycle in recent months with regard to electric car drivers and where they can and can't plug in. The key factor in all of that? Whether automakers switched to Tesla's charging standard. More car companies are shifting to Tesla's charging tech in the hopes of boosting their customers' confidence in going electric. Here's what it boils down to: If you currently drive a Tesla, you can keep charging at Tesla charging locations, which use the company's North American Charging Standard (NACS), which has long served it well. The chargers are thinner, more lightweight and easier to wrangle than other brands. If you currently drive a non-Tesla EV, you have to charge at a non-Tesla charging station like that of Electrify America or EVgo — which use the Combined Charging System (CCS) — unless you stumble upon a Tesla charger already equipped with the Magic Dock adapter. For years, CCS tech dominated EVs from everyone but Tesla. Starting next year, if you drive a non-Tesla EV (from the automakers that have announced they'll make the switch), you'll be able to charge at all Supercharger locations with an adapter. And by 2025, EVs from some automakers won't even need an adaptor. Here's how to charge up, depending on which EV you have: Ford 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E. Tim Levin/Insider Ford was the earliest traditional automaker to team up with Tesla for its charging tech. Current Ford EV owners — those driving a Ford electric vehicle already fitted with a CCS port — will be able to use a Tesla-developed adapter to access Tesla Superchargers starting in the spring. That means that, if you own a Mustang Mach-E or Ford F-150 Lightning, you will need the adapter in order to use a Tesla station come 2024. But Ford will equip its future EVs with the NACS port starting in 2025 — eliminating the need for any adapter. Owners of new Ford EVs will be able to pull into a Supercharger station and juice up, no problem. General Motors Cadillac Lyriq. Cadillac GM will also allow its EV drivers to plug into Tesla stations.
