This is a very nice1985 Volkswagon Vanagon Westfalia, Wolfsgurg editon, Weekender. It runs and drives great. It has the pop top camper, It is a weekender so it doesn't have the kitchen or propane. this one has the typical odometer problem. it works when it feels like it. the speedometer works great, just the odo. and trip meter don't work. It has the original interior, and curtains and the original books and manuals. cd radio, and two brand new batteries. It is freshly serviced and ready to go. it doesn't have a rear bumper. It had a wood 4x4 in the place of the rear bumper. I have been going to put a bumper on just haven't got around to it. the wood 4x4 gets lots of comments..lol ... It has dents on both back corners by the back hatch. and it has scratches 360 degrees on it. it need the front bumper end caps on the bumper replaced. I also broke the sliding door outside handle. It still works fine. I thought it was unlocked but it wasn't and I guess I'm stronger then I thought. it has a dent on the front above the grill. It is rust free and very solid.

Production Volkswagen Taigun crossover caught in patent filing?
Wed, 01 May 2013Volkswagen brought an angular, bulldog-like small crossover concept called Taigun to the São Paulo motor show last year, claiming that it wanted to gauge interest in the design before making a decision about production. If a new report with alleged leaked patent images is to be believed, then, interest must have been pretty high.
China's Auto.Sohu.com has published this group of Taigun images, claiming that they have been sourced from the Chinese patent office and that the subcompact VW utility based on the Up! has been cleared for production.
If all of that is true, and if these images are representative of the final product, you'll see that designers haven't done much to alter the concept car's appearance. Comparing, shot for shot, with the images we have from Brazil, we see that even small details like roof rack-mounted lights and exhaust tips integrated in the rear fascia have been carried over. Take a closer look for yourself in the attached galleries.

Audi CEO Rupert Stadler: Ducati is not for sale
Sat, Jun 18 2016"Ducati is not for sale." Those words, attributed to Audi CEO Rupert Stadler, are about as clear and definitive as can be, and they reiterate a previous statement about the potential sale of the premium Italian motorcycle brand that was made in March of this year. "[Ducati and Lamborghini] belong to Audi and, together with us, have an excellent future," said Stadler. Thing is, Audi, as well-off and established as it may be, still falls under the Volkswagen umbrella. And, as you're surely aware, things haven't exactly been smooth sailing for the VW Group over the last several months. The German automaker has squirreled away billions of dollars in anticipation of the legal fallout that's sure to come from the falsification of vehicle emissions data, and that's going to leave the company strapped for cash. All of that bad news led to speculation that VW could sell off some of its non-core businesses. What of the future of the Scania and Man heavy truck brands? Those don't currently appear to be on the auction block, either. VW's continued involvement in the HD truck segment was announced as part of the brand's TOGETHER - Strategy 2025 plan, in which Volkswagen outlined plans to push further into vehicle electrification and vehicle autonomy.
