1965 Volkswagen 11 window Kombi with original paint. This bus comes without a motor or back seats, but everything else is present and included in this auction. This bus has the typical rocker panel, front floor, and cargo floor rust, but the frame is solid. The cargo floor is actually very solid other than the two spots directly in front of the rear wheels. The damage to the rear corners and nose was caused by a rear end collision in the 1990's while the bus was stopped at a stoplight. The collision pushed the bus into the car in front of it which damaged the nose. I removed the front bumper for some of the pictures, so you can better see the damage. The front doors still open and close without any problems and the A pillars don't appear to have been damaged in the accident. The white paint was added by a previous owner and where it's flaked off you can see the original Velvet Green underneath. It should be possible to carefully remove the white paint and return the bus to one solid color. A previous owner also cut a hole in the roof of the bus that's been covered with a piece of metal. The bus is a good roller and the transmission has new Wolfsburg West mounts. Also included in this auction is a Wolfsburg West battery tray and rear corner patch panel.
I'm happy to assist in worldwide shipping, but the buyer must arrange and pay for all shipping cost. Let me know if you have any questions or would like to see more pictures.

Volkswagen says goodbye to Eos, Routan in 2015 updates
Wed, 23 Jul 2014Usually automakers announce changes to their lineup individually on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis, but sometimes it all comes at once - especially when the changes are ones we either expected or might not otherwise notice. That's the path Volkswagen has gone with changes to its US lineup for 2015.
The biggest change is what we already knew: that the new Golf arrives for the 2015 model year, bringing with it the new GTI, Golf R, e-Golf and Golf SportWagen (to replace the previous Jetta wagon). But there are some new details as well.
For starters, Volkswagen has finally confirmed that both the Eos and the Routan - both long rumored to be on their way out - will be exiting this year. The Eos hardtop convertible, pictured above, will linger for one last year, its Sport trim replaced by a new Final Edition with 18-inch wheels, two-tone leather interior and enhanced equipment.
Yes, a family of 5 can live in a 1981 VW Westfalia van
Fri, Feb 14 2014Automakers and marketers trying to reach environmentally conscious consumers who desire the simple life basically have two strategies: promote electric vehicles that can be charged through green energy or sell a 30-year-old Volkswagen van on Craigslist. Nicolas Boullosa and Kirsten Dirksen opted for Plan B and turned a 1981 Volkswagen Westfalia camper into a "micro-living" experiment. The co-founders of the simple living website faircompanies packed up their van and three young children for a road trip through the Pacific Northwest. They even turned the adventure into a documentary called Summer of (Family) Love, which you can view below. It's two hours long, so maybe add this to your weekend viewing list. They limited themselves to one backpack per person into a camper that they purchased off Craigslist and named "Westy." They stuck to their original intention of cooking all their own meals off a propane stove, creating a new little home every night in a different location, mostly spaces outside RV parks. They met up with other enthusiasts of the "tiny house" community who live like nomads. They were able to interview a few of then and, "With each stop we picked up some new piece of wisdom about life's essentials," Dirksen wrote in the faircompanies blog.
