You are looking at a good running good looking VW BEETLE.This CAR IS A HANDY MAN SPECIAL,the 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine does run good and the transmision shifts through all the gears clutch feels good but it does have some issues I will tell you what we know As you can see by the pictures it has some dash warning lights on ABS and Brake and check engine and low coolant light , The exhaust as you can see is missing one of the mufflers and the CAR DOES OVER HEAT AND SHOULD BE TOWED FROM OUR LOCATION.It could be leaking (i dont see from where) It starts up and runs but after it runs about 10-15 minutes it heats up The exterior of this car as you can see by the pictures looks good ,the body is straight it has a , it has some scratches and other issues that you have to get up close to see (shown) the underneath looks good The interior of the car as you can also see by the pictures does show some wear,the driverseat needs to be recovered ,alothough the other seats dont look to bad REMEMBER THIS VEHICLE HAS ISSUES AND WILL NEED WORK ALWAYS RESEARCH COST OF PARTS AND LABOR BEFORE YOU BID This is a good running good looking CHEAP VW BEETLE IS BEING SOLD WITH NO RESERVE (THAT MEANS THIS CAR WILL SELL AT THE END OF THE AUCTION REGARDLESS OF PRICE SO IF YOU DONT HAVE THE MONEY TO BUY PLEASE DONT BID) . Updated J.D. Power APEAL study shines on VW Group, Chevy

Power has just revealed the results of its 2013 APEAL Study, which looks at which brands have the most appealing cars based on sales figures, dealer inventory, brand loyalty, transaction and trade-in prices. The study was revamped for 2013, and places a larger focus on the new tech and infotainment options available to customers. All told, study participants gauged their vehicles on 77 different attributes, delivering a score out of a 1,000 points.
The Volkswagen Group had the greatest success of any corporation, topping the APEAL rankings with the Audi Allroad, Porsche Boxster, Porsche Cayenne, VW GTI and Passat. Chevrolet had the highest number of awards for a single brand, though, with the Avalanche, Sonic and Volt all taking home a prize.
The best brand overall was Porsche, which scored 884 out of a possible 1,000 points. The top Japanese brand was Lexus with a score of 847, while the top American brand was Cadillac, at 841. The best mainstream brand was Ram, which received a very respectable 817. The industry average for this year's study was 795, with 16 brands, all of which were mainstream, falling below the average.
VW redoes A-ha's 'Take On Me' music video

"Tiny Vader" might be the most popular, but somehow, we think this newest spot will find a big audience. VW delivers not so much a cover, but a reimagining, of 1980s Norwegian pop band A-ha's famous music video for "Take On Me."
The original opens with an animated motorcycle race, which is revealed to be part of a comic book. VW's version replaces the motorcycle with a Passat, which strikes us as an oddly sober choice when there are cars like the GTI and Beetle in VW's portfolio. But never mind that - take a look down below for the entire 46-second spot. For reference, we've also included the original music video. And if you aren't a fan of the musical stylings of A-ha, just think, VW's choice of 1980s music could have been much worse.
Volkswagen's 261-mpg hand-built XL1 headed for Geneva
Thu, 21 Feb 2013After years of rumors, development and testing, the Volkswagen XL1 is finally about to become a reality. The project that began life as a daring 1-Liter concept car in 2002, will finally get its production-ready curtain call at the Geneva Motor Show in just a few weeks.
As soon as it hits the streets, the two-seat XL1 will instantly become the most fuel-efficient and most aerodynamic production car in the world. The car uses a plug-in hybrid system to achieve mind-blowing consumption of just 0.9 liters of diesel fuel consumed every 100 kilometers (and average of roughly 261 miles per gallon). Plus, the XL1 can go up to 50 kilometers on its battery power alone. Coefficient of drag is a miniscule 0.189, thanks to a tiny frontal area and an obviously slippery shape.
XL1 power comes from a two-cylinder diesel motor connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, while the 20 kW electric motor is fed by a lithium-ion battery. Both combine to give the XL1 performance figures that are, while not stirring, not shabby considering its extreme frugality: 0-62 miles per hour comes up in 12.7 seconds and top speed is nearly 146 mph.
