01/1974 Baja bug

1600cc, 4spd, multi layer retro fiberglass baja kit not the cheap one, engine ran good I removed the delorto dual carbs to put on a Porsche 912 but the dual intake is still there, the engine was removed when I took the carbs and I just bolted it up for easy transport so the clutch needs to be installed as you can see in the pictures, the floors have welded on sheet metal as you can see in the picture but they work fine, it is meant for offroad so it has a cheap paint job, all the rust that was on the body was encapsulated and then the car was painted and there is no bondo on this body, other than the welded floor pans the frame is original and in good solid shape, it will make anyone a good baja, no title but it is clean, just a bill of sale, vehicle must be picked up within 5 days of auction end and cash upon pickup, the vehicle is located in St. Mountain Ga

Jay Leno takes a ride in Gabriel Iglesias' classic 1966 VW bus

We've seen Jay Leno driving all manner of vehicles, many of them epically fast. But few (this is side of his steamers, anyway) have been as slow – or quite as beautiful Â– as this classic 1966 Volkswagen Samba. While many of the vehicles featured on episodes of Jay Leno's Garage have actually been from Jay Leno's own garage, the former talk-show host has been known to feature some interesting rides from fellow comedians. A couple of weeks ago it was Adam Carolla's '68 Lamborghini Islero, and this vintage, pristine VW bus belongs to Gabriel Iglesias. It's in beautiful condition and is a sight to see, even if it has a little trouble making its way down the highway. Or starting up again after a quick snack break.

2014 Volkswagen Golf GTD is our favorite oil-burning GTI

The 2014 Volkswagen Golf GTD has officially bowed at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Engineers managed to squeeze an additional 14 horsepower and 22 pound-feet of torque out of the familiar 2.0-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder engine, nudging total output to 184 hp and 280 lb-ft for 2014. The figures are good enough to earn the GTD the honor of being the most powerful diesel Golf in Volkswagen history. A start/stop system helps improve efficiency over the previous generation with the new model consuming 56 miles per gallon on the EU cycle. That's up from the 2013 model's 46 mpg. A six-speed manual transmission is standard equipment, though a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox is also available.
The GTD also offers buyers a few aesthetic tweaks to help separate the hatch from its less potent siblings. Those include a more aggressive front fascia, special badges and 17-inch alloy wheels. Expect to find the GTD in one of three exterior colors, including Tornado Red, Black and Pure White. Check out the quick press release below for more details.
