1966 Vw Beetle Arizona Car With Original Title 1600cc Engine Kool Car Runs Great on 2040-cars
Bremen, Georgia, United States
I have for sale a 1966 VW Beetle. I have the ORIGINAL ARIZONA TITLE where this bug was bought and sold new. It has a great running 1600cc single port engine with a smooth shifting 4 speed manual transmission. It has custom exhaust that ends right at the back and sounds good. It has been lowered with adjustable spring plates in the rear and torsion bars spun back one tooth. The front has a 4" narrowed adjustable beam. It has brand new 17" BRM Porsche Replica Wheels with 215/45ZR 17 tires on the back and 205/40ZR 17 tires in the front. It has a great stance!! The roof rack is a One off custom built especially for this bug. Its like one you will never find like it and it puts all other racks to shame. The steering wheel is a Rare Italian Grant steering wheel. Neatly installed is a great sounding Clarion Stereo/CD head unit mounted in the glove box with one 12" sub woofer, Kenwood amp, mids and highs throughout the car. The paint is flat satin white trimmed out in black assents. The front trunk area is as clean and neat as you will ever see with a spare tire and original jack. The engine comparent is just as clean. The interior has 1970 model high back seats in the front. The only flaw is drivers seat bottom needs re covered. ( I have the seat cover ordered ) The dash is painted black and looks good. The headliner is black and white material that was custom installed and looks awesome. The battery tray has been replaced and the pans are original and in great condition. Heat works. All gauges and lights work. This is not your ordinary looking bug. It has great eye appeal. This car has had a lot of time invested. It is a clean little bug. It is always garaged kept and is so fun to drive. And it turns more heads then any car I own.
I reserve the right to end auction early if this car sells locally. It is being sold AS IS with no warranty given or implied in anyway. Pre sale inspections are welcomed and encouraged. This car was registered in Georgia so it has a current registration and will be sold with the current registration. The original Arizona title goes with the car as well. Any questions please ask. Thanks for looking!! I have more pics if anyone wants to see more than is here on ebay. Also I will sell WORLDWIDE!! |

Average transaction prices climb to a record $36,270 in January
Sat, Feb 3 2018The automotive sector made a hash of the numbers last month, a mess of pluses and minuses clogging the transaction-price charts according to Kelley Blue Book. The overall industry rose one percent, even though buyers bought fewer cars and light vehicles in January 2018 vs 2017 using the selling-day adjusted rate. Due to January transaction prices rising to $36,270, a record for January, the value of new vehicles sold climbed more than $1 billion compared to January 2017. KBB's transaction prices don't include customer incentives, which changes the complexion slightly; average incentive spending rose to just over ten percent. The average transaction price in December 2017 was $36,756, so January dropped a bit - nothing unexpected, with the month annually blamed for "January doldrums." More revealing is the fact that the average transaction price in January 2017 was $34,910. This year's plumped-up figure came courtesy of the continued shift to crossovers, SUVs, and light trucks, which shouldn't surprise anyone who's read an automotive blog in the past 20 years. That category comprised nearly 70 percent of new vehicle sales for the month. Some manufacturers profited more than others, though. Fiat Chrysler managed 12.8 percent fewer sales in January compared year-on-year, but the company's vehicles sold for $1,300 more. The Ford brand suffered a 6.3-percent dip in sales, but brand transaction prices increased $2,000, while a Lincoln sold for $8,700 more on average. General Motors sold more cars and sold them for more money; overall GM transaction prices rose four percent, or $1,270, while a GMC traded hands for seven-percent more than in January 2017 and a Cadillac got $2,300 more on average. Of KBB's listed automakers, the Volkswagen Group got the most of out its customers, transaction prices rising at the German automaker by 5.6 percent to $42,243 in January 2018 compared to a year earlier. American Honda followed with a 4.3-percent increase to $28,991, GM in third at 4.1 percent to $40,313. Find your next car at Autoblog using our new and used car listings or the Car Finder tool. Broken out by segment, minivans rocked the table, transaction prices leaping by 7.9 percent to $35,380 compared to January a year earlier. Luxury cars boasted the next-highest rise, at 3.6 percent to $58,533.
VW consumer site finally gets configurator tool back
Tue, Mar 10 2015The traditional vehicle configurator is back on the Volkswagen US consumer website, and it works very well. The company now lets visitors create a virtual model to their own specs and then search for a match among dealer inventories, as is the norm from most automakers. Last summer, Volkswagen tried to break the mold with its thoroughly redesigned consumer website in the US. It sported a slick design but made the highly controversial change of removing the configurator. Instead, visitors were narrowing their selection from a searchable database of models already at dealers. While the streamlined approach immediately told users if their desired car was available, the system also largely hid the prices for options and packages. The newly tweaked design retains the previous tablet-oriented layout, but after clicking a model, the site immediately offers "Build Yours." From there, visitors select a trim, and then the vehicle pops up with options to choose things like colors and packages. The whole layout is clean, features large buttons and works quickly. At the summary page, there's still the opportunity to search for the user's choice in dealer inventories. This is definitely a major improvement.
