I am selling two triumph spitfires, one is a complete 1973 spitfire, the other is a shell, 1974 spitfire, paperwork only on the 1973.
The 73 has a running engine and transmission, clutch master and brake master need to be put back in, just bought them, but the car starts up. The frame of the car looks to be in good condition, the front clip is also in good condition. The floors, rocker panels and quarter panels need work. This is why I am including a 1974 shell. The 74 shell needs minor quarter panel work and some floor work. I can part the car or sell whole. Recently an engine on ebay sold for over 500.00. So I would be will to take the engine out and sell it as w I have the following new: -instrument gauges, and wood panel for the gauges -convertible top, and cover for the top -rocker panel, driver's side -front driver's floor pan The 73 has the gauges intact, and the 74 only has three gauges I also have extra parts: -rear end-pumpkin only -rust free doors -rust free trunk lid -gas tank(I have seen these on ebay for over 300.00) -then the 74 shell -rear lights -hard top(this should be worth over 700.00) -clutch master cylinder If the car does not sell I will part all of the above. Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack
Sun, 21 Sep 2014Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
