I have just upgraded to a TR6 so that I can participate in the 2500 mile drive next year with the local Triumph club and so the Spitfire has to go as I do not have room for both. The car is in incredible condition having been re-painted the original Inca Yellow and undercoated. Among the new items installed in the last four years that I have owned the car are the following: * New rear leaf spring and air shocks on the back. * New front shocks, springs, bushings and trunnions. * Four wheel alignment. *New battery. *New original houndstooth style seats. * New top. * All new tires. * New luggage rack. *New K&N air filter and carburetor rebuild with manual choke conversion (the automatic chokes never worked reliably). *New Dash *New shop manuals and owner manual. In simple terms this is an incredible "10 footer" on which everything works. Just look at the photographs and act quickly as this car will not last at this price !!

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack
Sun, 21 Sep 2014Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
