Triumph Spitfire 1500!!!!!!!!!
Rust free!!!!!!!!!
Today I am offering a Very Nice rust free Spitfire that I was going to restore, but due to a heart attack I can no longer do it.
I obtained this car from a retired Army Officer at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. I have put a new gas tank, and sending unit in the car. I also installed a new Weber carb and intake. New fuel pump. Has headers. Car starts and runs great. No noise, no smoke.
This car appears to wear its original paint, I can see no body damage. I can find no rust on the car. It had sat in his garage for several years before I purchased it. This would be a fantastic candidate for full resto, or with a minimal amount of work, a driver class car. I installed a new battery last week. The car is titled as a 1979, but still has the chrome bumpers. I have only driven it around my Cul-de-sac, but it seems to be OK. Shifted fine. Paint is checking from age.
Has a top its not the best but it will do, tires appear to have very little miles on them but are older.
Car sold as is no warranties expressed or implied

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack
Sun, 21 Sep 2014Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
