2013 Toyota Tundra Crew Max, 4x4, TRD Supercharged, Lifted, completely tricked out with a ton of accessories! No expense spared!
I purchased this truck about a month ago.... I new that I wanted to build a maxed out Tundra and so I started my search for the best equipped Platinum series truck I could find. Also, I knew that I wanted it supercharged which brought about an uphill battle of finding a non flex fuel truck with all the goodies on it. I searched the internet for 2 weeks looking up every dealers stock and then following up with an email or a call. what a pain that was!!! Finally I found the perfect truck for the build, a 2013 Toyota Tundra Crew Max 4x4 with almost every option possible, including remote start! At this point your probably asking yourself if its so perfect then why are you selling it? Well, 1 week after the Tundra was completed one of my company trucks went down and needed to be replaced. So, here is the scoop....I need to buy a new big truck for work and this Tundra is cashed out. I refuse to trade it in and take that kind of a beating and thought I would try eBay to see if someone would appreciate what I just had built. I'm into this truck over 70K with every bit of work being performed at the Toyota dealer! I wanted everything to be under the dealerships warranty, as to many times have I had products installed on various new vehicles from aftermarket companies to find out that the dealer would not honor a warranty...
Ok, enough stories.

The truck is gorgeous and is simply amazing in every way, I can't believe I am actually selling it, but things happen.
There is a small rock chip in the windshield (thanks I-15 and dump trucks) but I have had it repaired. Also, the truck has roughly 3,500 miles on it, but is my daily driver, so keep that in mind.
Thanks for checking out my awesome truck and feel free to email me with any questions you may have. I do have the title in hand.

Toyota ad says fuel cell cars are inevitable
Fri, Sep 19 2014Toyota's confidence in H2 technology remains as strong as ever. The company has released a new commercial that says it's not a matter of if we all start driving hydrogen cars, but when. In fact, the 70-second spot calls 2015 the turning point for the alternative powertrain technology. Here's a bit of the voiceover for the animated spot, which to our eyes and ears comes off as more than a little defensive: There will be the naysayers. The handbrakes, who say that it can't be done. that it's unsafe. That there's no infrastructure to support it. Then there'll be the trailblazers. The first to put up their hand, and put down their foot. The bold few, driven to be remembered as those who made a difference. And perhaps, the ones that made all the difference. In the end, Toyota says, we're all going to be driving hydrogen cars, starting perhaps with the company's first H2 sedan which will go on sale next year. But, if the early comments on the video's YouTube page are any indication, then Toyota's might be a bit lonely driving down the hydrogen highway. Watch the ad below, then vote in our poll below and let us know what you think of Toyota's approach. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Ever wonder how to really pronounce Japanese automaker names?
Thu, 25 Sep 2014People tend to get very set in their ways when it comes to the pronunciation of words. Just look at the endless debates over whether or not to say the final 'e' in Porsche (which you should in terms of correct German enunciation). Or the argument about whether to follow the British convention and give the 'u' in Jaguar a special delivery or to say the 'ua' diphthong as more of a 'w' sound, as usually happens in the US.
This short video doesn't answer either of those automotive questions, but it does allow a native Japanese speaker to demonstrate the accepted pronunciations for several, major automakers from the country. One benefit is that it clears up the occasional debate over whether Nissan should be said with a long or short 'i' sound. Also, listen closely to how the female host says Mazda as Matsuda, the way it's actually said in the language. Even if this doesn't change the way you enunciate these brands, at least now you know the accurate way in Japanese.
America was the unexpected theme at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show thanks to Trump
Wed, Jan 11 2017President-elect Donald Trump was not in attendance at this year's Detroit Auto Show, but it sure seemed like he was the target audience for many of the press conferences and announcements surrounding the event. Several manufacturers chose to play up existing and future commitments to the US in general and American jobs specifically in their presentations to the press, and we're pretty sure that has everything to do with Trump's recent targeting of automakers on Twitter. To us, it seemed automakers were going on the offensive to try and preempt any future tweet-shaming for investing in auto manufacturing anywhere but the US. The pro-America sentiment started the week prior to the auto show, with Ford announcing that it would build several future electrified vehicles at its Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Michigan and also cancel a $1.6 billion factory planned for Mexico. Ford announced the two items on the same day, but the reality is that they likely have no relation to each other; the Mexican plant is being skipped because the company doesn't need the extra capacity to build the Ford Focus right now. Trump was still happy to share the news on Twitter. Then, on Sunday, FCA announced it would invest $1 billion in manufacturing plants in Ohio and Michigan to produce the new Jeep Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, and Wrangler-based pickup. It's not as though those potential new jobs were on their way out of the US, necessarily, but FCA took the opportunity to mention that plant upgrades at the Warren Truck Plant would allow the company to build Ram heavy duty trucks, which are currently assembled in Mexico, there. CEO Sergio Marchionne confirmed that Trump and his proposed tariffs had nothing to do with the decision. We certainly believe that, but we also have to believe that the timing of the release, positive outcome for America, and zero gain for Mexico were all orchestrated. Again, Trump sent out a victory tweet as if this had been his doing. Ford then used its press conference at the show on Monday to reiterate the plans for Flat Rock and also confirm that the Ford Bronco and Ranger nameplates will be returning to the US market, and that both will be built at a plant in Michigan. Announcements of manufacturing locations are usually aimed at the UAW, which certainly has a stake in these things, but again this one was broadcast to the auto show crowd in general.
