I have listed the condition of the truck already. I invite anyone interested to come look, inspect, and drive it. I have added an Alpine amplifier, driving 2 sets of Boston Acoustics PRO SE component speakers, which were professionally installed.The doors and part of the dash have been Dynamat installed at the same time as the speakers. The inside of the truck is very quiet without the radio on, and is very clear and loud with it on. I am including in the sale, as well, the remainder of my SiriusXM radio subscription. Not sure the length of time, probably about 5 or 6 months.
The truck has a factory installed bedliner, and also has a tow receiver with some sort of adapter included (never used). Also, this truck has a remote starter installed at the dealer at time of purchase. The truck was purchased locally, from the dealer less than 3 miles away. Never had any problems. As an incentive of getting my asking price or close enough to it, I will have the truck detailed thoroughly (IN and OUT) at a shop. I am still making payments on the truck, final sale price will consist of the buyer making the payoff payment to the bank, with the balance being paid in cash or cashiers check to me. Depending on the location of the buyer, I will take the truck to them once the payment is made. I will write out a bill of sale and both buyer and seller will get notarized copies. I will not ship this vehicle. I will work with the buyer to the best of my ability to make the transaction go smoothly. 2014 Toyota Aygo is so cross with itself
Mon, 03 Mar 2014It almost made it, but images of the redesigned Toyota Aygo have leaked ahead of its official debut at tomorrow's Geneva Motor Show. The new Aygo sports an aggressive look overall with a, um, mark on its face.
That distinguishing design feature aside, we quite like the angular headlights and muscular overall look of this little city car. The gaping trapezoidal air intake make the Aygo look more substantial, while swollen rear wheel arches hint at something sportier than your standard commuter device.
Sportiness, though, isn't likely to be a big part of the Aygo. As it's built on the same platform as the Citroën C1 and Peugeot 108, we should expect the same pair of gas-powered engines, which means at best, the Toyota will come to market with 82 horsepower under hood.
Latest Forza Motorsport 5 car pack leaves us scratching our head (in a good way) [w/video]
Wed, Jul 2 2014As we scrolled down the roster of the latest car pack for Forza Motorsport 5, the Hot Wheels Car Pack, our expression became bemused over the strange mix of vehicles that we now have at our disposal. This is quite unlike any of the other sets of DLC Turn 10 Studios has offered. Sure, there are the typical headliner cars – the Lamborghini Veneno and 2015 Audi S3 – that will appeal to the mainstream racing fan or auto enthusiast. But this latest car pack is so jammed full of nuggets of automotive weirdness that it's hard not to get excited. The Hot Wheels pack has no shortage of racers, with a particular focus on historical offerings. A 1939 Auto Union Type D covers the pre-war era of Formula One, while a 1967 Lotus 49 and a 1952 Ferrari 375 represent post-war racing. For a modern twist, a Mazda USF2000 car slots in below the Indy Lights car from the Nurburgring booster pack. From here, things get vintage and weird. There are a pair of delightfully offbeat coupes, in the form of a 1974 Toyota Celica GT and a 1973 Ford XB Falcon GT (here's hoping we get a vintage Holden Monaro in the future). Those two are joined by a 1956 Ford F-100, which your author already plans on converting into a dragster with vinyl flames down the side (because that's what all vintage pickups should be). The new ride we're most excited about, though, is the 1983 GMC Vandura G-1500. Yes, that's the van from The A-Team, and we're sure it will prove to be an excellent canvas for the artists of FM5 to cover with airbrushed, fire-breathing unicorns and mystical, gray-haired wizards (or just poorly painted letters that read "Free Candy"). This latest car pack is the final monthly car pack for FM5, although Turn 10 is quick to point out that while the monthly updates are over, there will still be new batches of cars made available to gamers. As for the Hot Wheels pack, it's available now on Xbox Live for $9.99. Toyota gives a free RAV4 to 50-millionth customer [w/video]
Thu, 29 Aug 2013Not surprisingly, the 50-millionth Toyota product sold in the US was a Camry, but Toyota had a big surprise in store for Michael Dee, the buyer of said milestone vehicle. Toyota group vice president Bill Fay showed up at Dee's house to not only personally thank him for the purchase, but also completely paid off that brand new Camry, presenting the owner with a clear title.
But that wasn't all. As you can tell from the image above, Fay had one more trick up his sleeve. The group VP brought along a brand new 2013 Toyota RAV4, which was also presented to Dee in appreciation. The best part is that Dee's genuine amazement was all caught on video, which is posted below.
