Welcome & Thank you for viewing this 2005 Toyota Tundra SR5 RWD CREW CAB .  No accidents or issues- This is a 1-owner dealer maintained since new 144,240 mile vehicle everyone wants to buy.  Almost complete records of everything that has ever been done to the vehicle.  The wheels & tires are only 5 months old including the black rails & 2inch level kit (which raises the front of the truck 2 inches & rear 0 since it comes lower than the rear from the factory) this work cost $3k.   The original OEM wheel & tires are also included in the sale!    The stereo has also been upgraded to a iPod/bluetooth compatible option & upgraded speakers- $1k.  The bedcover works nicely- part of the handle was broken but still works fine. $1k- locks/keeps your items dry and safely stored.

I am not a dealer but a private party sale by myself the 2nd owner- the first owner purchased a new family size SUV  & did not want to trade the truck-in when getting his new vehicle.  The brakes were recently replaced in May 2014. Last major service may 2013.  Ready to go with the next oil service in 3500 miles or October 2014.

I think this vehicle will serve as a very reliable truck whether it's a first vehicle, 2nd vehicle, toy hauler, work vehicle, farm vehicle.  Drives great- ride is comfortable- Bluetooth is a great upgrade for phone calls and streaming music.  I had the vehicle checked out and the mechanic said it was one of the nicest trucks he has seen being 10yrs old.  Complements to the 1st owner dealer maintaing the vehicles since new.  I will be uploading records & will provide all records with the sale of the truck.

Clear Title- Looking to make a good deal & find this truck a good new home. I'm waiting on the paperwork so will probably have to let the next buyer wait a week or two as I don't think this truck will last long at all.

About Me:  Please check my feedback! I've sold nearly $250k on eBay including family vehicles ex. Lexus LS430 & going back farther to when I sold cars at a Porsche/Audi Store.  I am very straight forward and honest person.

Questions:  Please Ask.

Location:  The truck is located in The Woodlands, TX.  I can also sell this vehicle in Mandeville, LA so if that helps with logistics being in New Orleans or Baton Rouge isn't a problem.

Toyota Tundra ditches V6 for 2015

Fri, 12 Sep 2014

The Toyota Tundra debuted in new-ish form for the 2014 model year, but as we head into 2015, the truck boasts a couple of small updates. Most notably, the base V6 engine has been discontinued. On top of that, there's the new TRD Pro model on offer for 2015, which we've told you about before.
Why kill the V6? Simple - it was very low-volume. "The Tundra V6 take rate was significantly less than five percent," a Toyota spokesperson confirmed via email to Autoblog. So for 2015, the two V8 engine options remain - a 4.6-liter unit with 310 horsepower and 327 pound-feet of torque, or the more powerful 5.7-liter powerplant with 381 hp and 401 lb-ft. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, and rear-wheel drive is standard. Four-wheel drive, of course, is available with either engine.
The only other noteworthy changes for 2015 include an optional integrated trailer brake for the 5.7-liter models, a new rear under-seat tray storage system for Double Cab trucks, and a spray-in bed-liner. Scroll down for the official press blast.

Toyota gives up more information on Frankfurt-bound Yaris Hybrid-R concept

Mon, 19 Aug 2013

Toyota has undeniably carved out a niche for itself as the industry's leader in hybrid propulsion. What started out with the original Prius in 1997 has, over the past sixteen years, ballooned to what Toyota reports as a global hybrid portfolio of 23 models. But few (if any of them) are particularly exciting.
That's where the Yaris Hybrid-R concept comes in. Set to be showcased along with the rest of Toyota's hybrid and fuel-cell lineup at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show next month, the concept starts with one of the Japanese auto giant's least exciting models and upgrades it to more enticing territory. Toyota Motorsport GmbH - the same Cologne, Germany-based division that operated the company's F1 team, currently runs its Le Mans program and gave us that bonkers 650-horsepower Lexus LS - has slotted in a version of Toyota's new 1.6-liter Global Race Engine and paired it with a couple of electric motors for hybrid propulsion and through-the-road all-wheel drive.
Like the TS030 Hybrid LMP1, the Yaris Hybrid-R concept uses a super capacitor (instead of a conventional battery) to store the regenerated brake energy and give it upwards of 400 horsepower. That's about all Toyota is revealing at this point, but this is the first time it has confirmed the project is based on a Yaris, of all things, and the confirmation comes with the solitary teaser rendering you see above. Check out the press release after the jump and watch this space for more as Frankfurt fast approaches.

Recharge Wrap-up: Model X pinch sensor update, Karma plans first store

Fri, Aug 26 2016

Tesla has improved Model X pinch sensor function in its latest over-the-air update. As we've seen, the pinch sensors already stop the falcon wing doors from completely shutting when they sense an obstruction. Now, though, the doors retract slightly after the sensors are triggered. While the pre-update doors didn't appear to do as much damage to human fingers as they do to various foodstuffs, it definitely looked uncomfortable, especially when one's hand is stuck in the partially closed door. Now, any pinch that does occur should be brief. See the updated sensors at work in the video above, and read more from Teslarati. Karma Automotive will move to Kawasaki's former headquarters in Irvine, California where it will also open its first store. The revival of the now defunct Fisker will sell its Revero plug-in hybrid through both dealerships and company-owned stores like the one planned for its new two-building campus. The property owner, Bixby, had planned to renovate the site, but now says Karma will make its own improvements. Bixby said it was seeking, "a progressive-minded tenant that would value the unique configuration," and appears to have found just that in Karma. Read more at Electrek, or from the OC Register. San Francisco is asking residents for help in expanding its subways. Using an online tool called Subway Vision, users can draw their own subway lines and stations that they'd like to see built and submit them to planners. Listening to the public is a useful tool for the city because, as Grahm Satterwhite, San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency's principal planner, admits, "Transportation planners may be too close to a problem to see the solution." This approach allows the subway expansions to "reflect the vision of not just a few transportation planners, but of all San Franciscans," he says. Read more from FastCo.Exist. Toyota is continuing its commitment to Yellowstone National Park with a sustainable Youth Campus for environmental education. The automaker donated $1 million to Yellowstone for the facility, which is seeking Living Building Challenge certification. It will have onsite wastewater treatment for its locally sourced water usage, and will generate all of its electricity needs from photovoltaic panels, with excess to put back into the grid. The campus will have classrooms and residences for students and staff for its youth programs.
