02 Toyota Tundra Sr5 4-dr Access Cab Navigation-bluetooth-ipod-dvd-xm 1fl Owner! on 2040-cars
Brookhaven, Mississippi, United States
This is a beautiful mint condition truck. I bought as a one owner vehicle from a 80 year old man in Florida. It is loaded with keyless entry, power everything. NAV, DVD, SIRUS. As well as the brush guard. This truck was never even driven in the rain. The bed was never used. Never drank in, smoked in, eatin in, this truck has never even been cursed in. The only bad thing about this truck is it will not fit in my garage. It is about a foot to long. And I don't want to leave it out in my driveway. Just not that kind of neighborhood. Even with a cover on it. This truck rides quieter and smother than my $80,000 Mercedes SLK. My insurance is about $180 a year, thats why I bought a mint older Tundra. Message me and I will send more pictures if needed. Shipping will be buyer responsibility. But will be happy to help load.

New Toyota semiconductors could increase hybrid fuel efficiency by 10%
Wed, 21 May 2014Toyota may have an ace up its sleeve in the fuel economy wars, as it's developed a new type of semiconductor that will allegedly help the company's hybrids net a ten-percent improvement in fuel economy.
The tech is still in development, although Toyota is already reporting five-percent gains during testing, six years before it plans to implement the new semiconductor in production vehicles, meaning the ten-percent improvement doesn't seem like an untenable goal. That is, until you hear from Kimimori Hamada, the project general manager of Toyota's electronics division.
"We are aiming for great improvement in fuel economy and miniaturization," Hamada told Automotive News. "This is a very challenging target."
Toyota fills in details about its future design direction and global platform
Fri, 25 Oct 2013
"In the future, out of 100 customers, we want to excite ten of them instead of not offending all 100."
Almost all of the details about the Toyota New Group Architecture (TNGA) strategy have come out since the initiative was first reported on in March of this year, but Autoblog did learn a few new things about it on a recent trip to Japan. Probably the second-most important detail is that each new segment platform will be based around a common hip point to create an "optimal driving position architecture."
Hi-po Toyota GT86 to get KERS?
Fri, 09 Nov 2012We happen to like the Toyota GT86 - and, it of course goes without saying that the same applies to the Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S, as well - just the way it is. Yes, that includes the standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine and its 200 horsepower at 7,000 rpm.
That said, a little extra power never hurt anybody, right?
The most obvious way to add some punch to the GT86 would be with a turbocharger, and that has indeed long been rumored for an STI version of the BRZ. Will Toyota follow suit? According to Top Gear, the answer is no. Says GT86 chief engineer Tetsuya Tada, "I think 300bhp with a turbo and 200g/km of CO2 would be tasteless in this day and age. And a turbo would mean the loss of the GT86's uniqueness." Perhaps a bit harsh, but there you go.
