Up for sale is my 2013 Toyota Tacoma TRD Offroad Edition. This is an amazing truck I simply cant afford it. I bought this truck brand new in October 2012.This truck is great, your not going to find a better price on a 2013!!! Its a non smoker, one owner, clear title. This is a truck identical to what would come off the showroom floor. Its MINT. Not a scratch or a ding anywhere on the vehicle. It just went in for its first scheduled service last month. I have only used the truck to commute to work and back. Its Black Pearl Metallic in color with the TRD Offroad package wich includes a rear differential lock, A-Trac, Bilstein Shocks, skid plates and much more including the towing package. Its a four door short bed with an 120v outlet in the bed, I have added a factory bed mat, an Access Limited roll up bed cover, and weather tech floor mats (originals included) and had the front windows tinted to match the rear. Its a very very sharp truck. It has the touch screen in dash CD player (non-entune) and a backup camera as well. Save your self 2k+ at the dealer and buy this one that is so close to brand new its ridiculous. Cash in person or Cashiers check from a bank only. Buyer is responsible for pick up and or delivery. The truck is listed here in town as well and I reserve the right to end the auction early, I will be more than willing to help with buyer in anyway I can upon sale, Ill pick you up from the airport or meet you. See my feedback its 100% for a reason. Serious bidders only please. Thanks for looking!!!

Toyota Harrier gets a whale of a facelift [w/video]
Thu, 21 Nov 2013Historically, the Toyota Harrier has been a doppelgänger for North America's Lexus RX - at some points, it was little more than a badge-swap and a few options away, at least aesthetically. That appears to be changing with this just-revealed new generation at the Tokyo Motor Show.
That's because this two-row, five-seat Toyota is in possession of a bold new look, dominated by a jutting, baleen-like grille edged in chrome, along with new headlamps and fascia. The greenhouse has likewise been revamped and gotten more pointed at the rump, which has new taillights, a resurfaced tailgate and a faux rear diffuser. Were it to be ported over to North American Lexus dealers intact, the Harrier's look would be jarring in light of the brand's spindle-grille-based design language, so we suspect that if the RX gets any of these updates (it was just refreshed for 2013), it will strike out on a different path visually.
Unlike the US RX, the new Harrier will rely on smaller-displacement four-cylinder engines, namely a 2.0-liter paired with a continuously variable transmission or a 2.5-liter four backed up by an electric motor. We'd like to see a smaller-displacement option for the US RX (it presently runs with 3.5-liter V6 engines in both gas-only and hybrid guise), but suspect it won't arrive until the next all-new model.
Toyota Prius sets a different kind of Nurburgring lap record [w/video]
Tue, 15 Jul 2014Scroll down the leaderboards of Nürburgring lap times and you'll see mostly racing cars, supercars and sports cars. Delve deep enough and you'll eventually get to hatchbacks and sedans, albeit the most performance-focused of their kind. But a hybrid? Sure, the Porsche 918 Spyder posted the top time for a street-legal series production car, and it's technically a hybrid, but we're talking about another kind of hybrid here. We're talking about a Toyota Prius.
That's right: the Prius just set a lap record around the Nordschleife. But it wasn't for the lap time. In fact, miles per hour barely factored in (except for staying above the minimum 37-mph average speed mandated on the vaunted racing circuit). No, this was about miles per gallon.
Toyota took one of its Prius Plug-In hybrids to the Nürburgring, topped up the battery, put on a set of low-rolling-resistance tires and put automotive journalist Joe Clifford behind the wheel with a mandate to use as little fuel as possible. After one second shy of 21 minutes, the Prius completed its lap having used just five tablespoons of fuel.
Toyota launches updated Yaris in Europe, Vitz in Japan [w/videos]
Wed, 23 Apr 2014Toyota first launched the Yaris in 1999, though that model was sold in the North America as the Echo. The second generation arrived in 2005, replaced by the third in 2011. Sometime next year, Toyota is expected to roll out a new Yaris for North America, to be built in Mexico on the same platform as the next Mazda2. But before that comes to pass, Toyota has introduced a mild facelift for the Yaris in markets other than ours.
With styling cues borrowed from the new Aygo and the Yaris Hybrid-R concept, the new Yaris (for Europe) and Vitz (for Japan) are distinguished by updated styling front and rear. Though the European model bears a more aggressive look than the JDM version, both feature the new X motif that seems to be the new look for the whole family - particularly for small hatchbacks.
The back end has also been revised to incorporate new LED taillights and a (faux) diffuser in the bumper. The cabin, meanwhile, has been redesigned to feel roomier and quieter with upgraded equipment. The suspension has also been refined, and in Europe at least, Toyota will continue to offer the Yaris with a choice of 1.0- or 1.3-liter gasoline engines, 1.4-liter diesel or hybrid powertrains.
