2012 Toyota Tacoma Doublecab Sport 4x4 Heated Leather on 2040-cars
Pikeville, Kentucky, United States
2012 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Sport 4x4 4.0V6
Rare spruce mica with factory chrome 18 inch wheels. Chrome bull bar, Chrome fog light rings, Silver star headlight bulbs, Chrome step boards, Chrome door handles, TRD brake light cover, TRD exhaust tip, A.R.E. bed cover painted to match. Michelin LTX-M/S tires with 22,000 miles on them. Factory Bridgestone tires will be included with the truck which have 10,000 miles on them. Tinted windows. Exterior of the truck is in great shape with no dents, dings, or large scratches. Paint still shows like new. Only markings from being washed. Has one rock chip on passenger side door and markings from where the front mud flaps were installed, but I took them off because they were to low to the ground. Gray leather interior with factory Toyota heated seat switches in dash. Japanese honey maple wood accent trim pieces. Factory JBL sub with 400 watt aftermarket amp. Interior is clean and smells new. Leather shows very little wear. Leather was installed by me when the truck had about 10,000 miles on it. Power windows, power locks, cruise control, Self dimming rear view mirror with rear view camera and home link garage door buttons. Factory sirius satellite radio. Truck was serviced by Toyota every 5000 miles, but I changed the oil in between the 5000 mile Toyota changes as well. I do not like to run a vehicle 5000 miles in between oil changes, so the oil has been changed every 2500 miles with Valvoline Synthetic Oil. All other service has been done on truck according to the heavy use maintenance schedule from Toyota. I have all service records documented with mileage and the dates. Both sets of keys and all the original owners manuals and books are included in the sale, as well as the original window sticker. The truck does have a transferable Toyota Platinum bumper to bumper warranty that cover up to 8 years or 80,000 miles. If you want to keep that coverage you will need to pay the transfer fees on it. This is a like new truck, with no known issues at all. The only negatives I can think of are minor and are the markings left on the fender flares from the stock mud flaps, and some mounting holes left from equipment that I had mounted in my truck for my job. I have pictures listed of both of these, so be sure to look. I have a clear Kentucky title in hand for the truck, but it does have a lien on it through Toyota Financial that will have to be paid off. I will only accept a cashiers check or cash for payment of the truck. You are bidding to own the truck so please be sure to have your money ready to finalize the purchase. I will not ship the truck. Buyer will need to make arrangements to have the truck picked up or pick it up in person. Please feel free to message me with any questions about the truck. I also welcome you to come look at the truck at any time before bidding ends. I also have the truck for sale locally and will end the auction early if it sales locally. $1000.00 due by paypal within 48 hours of auction end and the remaining balance due by cashiers check or cash within 7 days of auction end. Truck will need to be picked up within 2 weeks of auction end. |

Autocar pits McLaren MP4-12C against turbo Toyota GT86
Thu, 29 Aug 2013The Toyota GT86, in all of its forms, is one of the best-handling cars money can buy, a trait that can put a smile on the faces of all but the most jaded car enthusiasts. But if good handling isn't what they're looking for, then what is? Our first guess would have to be more power, something the 200-horsepower Toyota would benefit from. Autocar tries out that theory by driving two turbocharged GT86s on track, then pitting the more powerful one against the 616-hp McLaren MP4-12C in a track battle.
The first GT86 turbo Autocar's Steve Sutcliffe drives makes around 255 rear-wheel horsepower and a bucket-load more torque than the stock car. That's plenty of power to either have a lot of fun or get into a lot of trouble. But the GT86 that Sutcliffe tails in the McLaren is race-prepped, stripped to the bone and wears slicks to harness a heavy-hitting 335 hp at the wheel. Weighing in at under 2,500 pounds, the Toyota can't overcome the MP4-12C's power-to-weight ratio of 5.3 pounds per horsepower, but it comes pretty close.
Enjoy a lot of chasing and drifting fun in the video below!
Toyota Camry Hybrid SE adds a dash of limited-edition sport
Tue, 04 Feb 2014For drivers who want to benefit from the increased efficiency of a hybrid sedan but who don't want to look like they'd rather be hugging trees, Toyota has just announced its 2014.5 Camry Hybrid SE Limited Edition.
The SE LTD combines the exterior bits and pieces that make the SE look sportier than other Camry models with the 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine, electric motor and nickel metal hydride battery pack of the Camry Hybrid. That means the Hybrid SE offers up 200 combined system horsepower to the front wheels, and we'd expect it to be rated at the same 40 miles per gallon city and 38 highway of the Camry XLE Hybrid.
Only 5,000 units will be produced between February and June of 2014, with an asking price of $27,845, which is about $700 more expensive than the base Camry Hybrid LE or $2,620 less than the Hybrid XLE that Toyota says shares a similar level of equipment. Sounds like a fair shake to us. Scroll down below for the complete press release.
Toyota reveals Tokyo Motor Show concepts
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Toyota is getting ready for the Tokyo Motor Show later this month, and to tease us, the Japanese automaker has released photos and information about the concept vehicles it'll be bringing to the show. In all, there'll be five world premieres from Toyota (six if you split the Voxy and Noah minivan concepts), including some vehicles that'll be released in the near future, and others that need more time to incubate.
Let's get the world premieres out first. Toyota is a pioneer of gasoline-electric hybrids, but it's also pursuing hydrogen fuel cell-powered vehicles. The clearest indication of this is the FCV concept, a hydrogen-powered sedan in the same vein as the the FCV-R that will bow at the auto show. (Read more about the FCV, here.)
Other world debuts include the FV2 concept (pictured), a unique, one-seat future vehicle that emphasizes the "Fun to Drive" philosophy; the JPN TAXI concept, a next-generation taxi concept designed with Japanese hospitality in mind; and the Voxy and Noah concepts, next-generation minivans that differ most in exterior design cues and are scheduled to launch in the Japanese market in early 2014.
