TacomaHQ is proud to offer another immaculate, impossible to find, and Insanely Low Mileage 1999 Toyota Tacoma Xtracab 4x4.  It was just traded into a Mitsubishi dealership on a new car and we were able to purchase it right from them.  It has only had One Owner since brand new in 1999.  It has both clean Carfax and Autocheck Vehicle History Reports.  The truck has spent it's whole life in Rhode Island and was dealer maintained.  You absolutely do not find older Tacomas in this nice of condition or with this low mileage.
I have offered and sold 65+ 1995-2004 Tacomas on eBay in the past year.

The exterior is in phenomenal shape.  The Original "Black Metallic" paint shines absolutely great.  There are NO dents, dings, or scratches or whatsoever on the truck.  There is NO body rust on the truck whatsoever.  The entire undercarriage is very clean.  The rear end is beautiful and there are no leaks underneath anywhere.  The frame was inspected and then rust proofed by Fox Toyota in August of 2011.  The frame is absolutely 100% solid with no rust issues or perforation.  The alloy wheels are mint with no corrosion and the truck truly looks like a 14,000 mile truck.  The only negative about the entire truck inside and out, is most of the paint has started to show tiny little hatch marks.  I have provided one picture to help show this.  You absolutely cannot notice it at all, unless you are less than 5-6 inches away.

The interior is absolutely perfect.  The carpets, seats, dashboard, glass, and headliner are all in great shape.  There isn't any wear or tear to mention anywhere.  There aren't any smoke smells, burns, or marks inside.  All of the electronics are functioning properly.

This Toyota Tacoma has many nice features and options!

- 2.7L 4-Cylinder Engine

- 5-Speed Manual Transmission

- 4-Wheel-Drive

- Ice Cold Air Conditioning

- Cruise Control

- Am/FM/Cassette Player

- Tilt Steering

- Dual Airbags

- Alloy Wheels

- Sliding Rear Window

- Intermittent Wipers

- Soft Tonneau Cover

This Tacoma runs and drives perfect as you would expect.  Everything works as it should.  The 2.7L 4-Cylinder engine starts instantly and runs great.  The transmission shifts very nice and the clutch grabs strong.  The 4-wheel-drive and low range work exactly as they should.  The truck goes straight down the road with no shakes, rattles, or pulls.  There are no exhaust leaks.  The brakes stop great with no pulsations as well.  We had the truck on our lift and fully checked over every square inch of it.  The truck has Firestone Wilderness A/T tires that have about 80-95% tread remaining, have no air leaks, but are slightly dry-rotted from age.

I have 3 Keys, 4-piece floormat set, 1-owner clean CarFax report, the full size spare tire, jack, tools, and a clean/clear title.

2018 Ford Expedition vs other big SUVs: How it compares on paper

Fri, Nov 10 2017

With our Alex Kierstein rightly impressed in his first-drive review of the new 2018 Ford Expedition, we decided to dig a little deeper into the numbers, and we came up with the spreadsheet below to highlight how the new 2018 Expedition compares on paper to its main full-size SUV competitors: the 2018 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban (and therefore the 2018 GMC Yukon), 2018 Toyota Sequoia and 2018 Nissan Armada. We also threw in the new, even bigger 2018 Chevrolet Traverse since, as you'll see, its massive dimensions should put it on the radar for anyone who needs loads of passenger and cargo space but doesn't care as much about towing. A few notes about the chart above. First, the 6.2-liter V8 that's included with the new-for-2018 Tahoe RST trim level is the standard engine on the GMC Yukon Denali. You can apply most of the Tahoe's numbers to the entire Yukon and Yukon XL lineup. Second, though we highlighted categories where the Traverse led, we also highlighted the runner-up full-size SUV, since this was ultimately about that segment. Traverse numbers are broadly applicable to the new Buick Enclave. Autoblog Minute: UAW and FCA avoid strike, Clarkson teases new show

Fri, Oct 9 2015

FCA avoids a worker strike, a former Top Gear host teases us with a picture from Amazon's new car show, and Toyota predicts autonomous cars by 2020. Autoblog senior editor Greg Migliore reports on this edition of Autoblog Minute Weekly Recap. Show full video transcript text [00:00:00] FCA avoids a worker strike, a former Top Gear host teases us with a picture from Amazon's new car show, and Toyota predicts autonomous cars by 2020. I'm senior editor Greg Migliore and this is your Autoblog Minute Weekly Recap. A UAW strike of FCA was avoided thanks to a zero-hour tentative agreement reached this week. Worker concerns that were renegotiated in the new [00:00:30] deal include adjustments to the two-tier wage scale, health care costs, and production outsourcing. Now check-in with Autoblog as we update our reports on this evolving story. Shooting began on Amazon Prime's new automotive show starring the former Top Gear crew. That's Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May. Now Clarkson threw out a tweet from day one of filming on location at Algarve Motor Park in Portugal. The picture features the show's [00:01:00] three stars and crew posing with the holy trinity of hyper cars. That's a McLaren P1, a Ferrari LaFerrari, and a Porsche 918 Spyder. This Prime show is being called Gear Knobs though the name is unofficial. Now if a tweet is any indication of what we can expect, who cares what it's called this is gonna be awesome. (Eds Note: Clarkson tweeted Friday that the show will not be called Gear Knobs.) Toyota predicts drivers could be obsolete on highways as early as 2020, with technology dubbed the Toyota Highway Teammate or THT. Toyota is using a modified [00:01:30] Lexus GS to show what this is capable of. THT is already able to create a driverless freeway car that's capable of changing lanes, making passes and taking curves. Plus, it can keep safe distances from other vehicles. Toyota is currently testing this on Tokyo's Shuto Expressway. Those are the highlights from the week that was. Be sure to check out my full recap this Saturday. And I'll have some added insight on the BMW M4 GTS. For Autoblog, I'm Greg Migliore. [00:02:00] Show Logo Autoblog Minute is a short-form video news series reporting on all things automotive. Each segment offers a quick and clear picture of what's happening in the automotive industry from the perspective of Autoblog's expert editorial staff, auto executives, and industry professionals.

This map reveals the cleanest vehicles based on location

Thu, Apr 28 2016

Naysayers love to point out how dirty the electricity grid mix is when it comes to charging electric vehicles. Curmudgeons are eager to jump into any conversation about EVs to enlighten the lucky listeners about how plug-in cars contribute to pollution, sometimes even throwing in a dash of climate-change denial for good measure. (Thanks, buddy. Pray, tell me more about the plight of oppressed SUV owners.) Unless someone buys an EV just because they think they're cool (which, yeah, they often are), they probably have at least a passable understanding of their environmental pros and cons. As many EV owners are already aware, location has a lot to do with any particular plug-in car's carbon footprint. Still, there's always more to know, and knowledge is not a bad thing, especially if one uses it to do the right thing. That's why this handy-dandy map from Carnegie Mellon University is so interesting. CMU researchers have compiled information about the lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions of various EVs based on where they're charged, as compared to gasoline-powered vehicles. The researchers looked at the Nissan Leaf, Chevrolet Volt, and Prius Plug-In Hybrid versus the gasoline-dependent Toyota Prius hybrid and the stop-start-equipped Mazda3 with i-ELOOP and compared grams of CO2 emitted per mile. CMU takes into account the grid mix, ambient temperature, and driving patterns. CMU takes into account the grid mix based on county, as well as ambient temperature and driving patterns in terms of miles traveled on the highway or in the city. For instance, if you drive a Nissan Leaf in urban areas of California, Texas, or Florida, your carbon footprint is lower than it would be if you were driving a standard Toyota Prius. However, if you charge your Leaf in the Midwest or the South, for the most part, you've got a larger carbon footprint than the Prius. If you live in the rural Midwest, you'd probably even be better off driving a Mazda3. Throughout the country, the Chevrolet Volt has a larger carbon footprint than the Toyota Prius, but a smaller one than the Mazda3 in a lot of urban counties in the US. The Prius and Prius Plug-In are relatively equal across the US. Having trouble keeping it straight? That's not surprising. The comparisons between plug-in and gasoline vehicles are much more nuanced than the loudest voices usually let on.
