Belmar, New Jersey, United States
Here we have a 1999 Toyota Tacoma SR5 TRD extra cab pick-up truck with matching cap. It is in ok condition with wear and tear consistent with its age. It has a lot of dings and scratches with a large dent on the drivers side door and extra cab behind the door. Please look closely at all pictures as they try to highlight the damage. It has an aftermarket JVC cd stereo and 12 disc cd changer. It has an aftermarket alarm system. It has a aftermarket Piia lighting switch wired in but missing the lamps. It has seat covers as original seats and fabric is worn down. The rear bed has a sprayed-on Rhino liner bed liner. The truck bed cap is a color matching Glasstite cap with side sliding windows. The truck has rust on the chassis consistent with its age. The truck paint has a lot of dings, dents and scratches. There is a large dent the drivers side door and behind the door on the extra cab area. It happened while it was parked years ago (hit and run). The rear bumper is almost completely rusted away. There is a Valley brand towing hitch installed on this vehicle. The truck is known to need four new tires. The spare tire is original and never used. The truck has a few leaks in the exhaust system. The LF outer cv boot on the front axle is open and needs replacement. Otherwise, truck is ready to go. Sale includes replacement set of three belts and a water valve. The truck has been smoke free. I am the second owner since 2001. I purchased with 17,000 miles. The truck has been a reliable work horse for me. I absolutely love it but I have outgrown it and cannot afford to keep it. SALE IS AS IS, FINAL, AND PICK UP ONLY. |

Autoblog fan favorite car ads from Super Bowl XLIX
Mon, Feb 2 2015Super Bowl XLIX is in the books, and the New England Patriots emerged victorious. Of course, if you're like us, the big game wasn't so much about the battle between the east coast and west, so much as a fight between the world's automotive advertisers. We collected and collated all of last night's new ads and put them together for you to vote on. And yes, we're limiting this year's contest to last night's new features. That's why you aren't seeing Dodge's epic Wisdom among our collection of commercials, and it's a similar story with Chevrolet's Truck Guy Focus Group series, which highlights the new Colorado. You can still vote for your favorites. We won't be closing the voting on our Super Bowl page, so while the winners and losers are correct as of this writing, it's entirely possible that there could be some changes in the rankings as time goes on. So, without any further ado, here are the winning ads based on your voting. Nissan: With Dad Fiat: Ready For Action Jeep: Beautiful Lands BMW: Newfangled Idea Mercedes-Benz: Fable NASCAR: America Start Your Engines As for those ads that failed to impact you, loyal readers, Toyota was the absolute, undisputed loser. The Japanese brand ran four ads in total – two for Toyota and two for Lexus – and all of them have negative tallies as of this writing. Lexus' Make Some Noise and Lets Play and Toyota's One Bold Choice and My Bold Dad both had very weak showings among the commercials that aired, although they weren't alone. Neither Mazda nor Kia scored particularly well, despite featuring celebrity magic act Penn and Teller and former James Bond, Pierce Brosnan, respectively. Chevrolet was the winner of the losers, as of our writing, recording the fewest downvotes for its audience-punking The Big Game ad. If you want to take a second look at the losing ads, you can head back to our Super Bowl page for the complete collection. But for now, head into Comments and let us know what you think of the results.
Unifor may establish local union for Toyota's Canadian plants
Thu, 17 Jul 2014Union tactics apparently translate across borders, as Canada's Unifor may take inspiration from the United Auto Workers' recent move at the Volkswagen factory in Chattanooga, TN, and establish a local for the Toyota factories in Cambridge and Woodstock.
Unifor last attempted to organize the workers at the two factories, which are responsible for production of the Toyota Corolla (above), RAV4 and Lexus RX back in April, but that vote was eventually delayed. According to that report, 3,000 of the two plants' 7,500 employees signed union cards, but that apparently wasn't enough for Unifor to force a vote.
Because of this, the union is looking at the local approach, like what the UAW is attempting with VW.
Automakers donating money, vehicles and supplies to Oklahoma tornado relief effort
Fri, 24 May 2013Judging by the destruction the Oklahoma City area experienced earlier this week, residents are going to need a lot of help in coming months. Fortunately, a number of automakers - including General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Honda and Toyota - have stepped up to donate money, supplies and vehicles to aid in the recovery and rebuilding processes.
Here's a quick rundown of which automakers have pitched in and what each contributed so far:
Ford Motor Company has donating $250,000 and a Transit Connect to the American Red Cross, and it will match all other donations made to the Red Cross (up to $250,000) using a special URL tied to the latter's website (link here). Additionally, its local Oklahoma dealers have thrown in an extra $150,000 for the United Way and the automaker will be offering an extra $500 toward the purchase of a new Ford vehicle.
