!!!LOW RESERVE!!!1999 Toyota Tacoma Automatic, 4x4, 2.7l 4 cylinder. The truck is in great mechanical condition, never had a mechanical problem with it whatsoever. It got about 173,861 miles on it and that's nothing for Toyota. These trucks are built to last and yet it still running strong. The truck got new rotors, brakes, spark plugs and wires, only got about 300 miles on 'em, 1500 miles on the new shocks and about 1000 miles on the recent oil change which is done all by my mechanic. The A/C blows 100% cold and the heat work just as fine. The 4x4 works great. Everything Mechanically on the Tacoma are in great condition. Also, the Tacoma got a towing power button for your towing needs. The Interior are also in good condition, no tears in the seats, dashboard stills looks new, overall, the interior is in great condition for it's age.The one bad thing about the interior is the center console lid fell off, however, it been repair with a bit of rope. The exterior got few minor scratches and a couple dings which is very hard to see, unless your close up. The body and the chassis are 100% rust-free. However, the left side of the rear end of the truck bed seems to be involved in a car accident possibly by the previous owner, it has been repair however, but, it's not a 100% completed, you need finish it off with a clear coat (as you can see in the picture). The truck tailgate, got a sizable scratched on it, (as you can see in the picture). The bed has bed liner already done to it. The rear bumper got a few small ding. Overall, the exterior condition is normal for a truck of that age, if your looking for a show truck, than you're on the wrong page. I got a toolbox if you want, I can throw it in with it. Also, i forgot to mention, the truck got 31'' off-road tires on it, it came with it when i brought it from the previous owner. The highest bidder are responsible for the shipping. Remember the truck is sold as is.

Toyota Tundra ditches V6 for 2015
Fri, 12 Sep 2014The Toyota Tundra debuted in new-ish form for the 2014 model year, but as we head into 2015, the truck boasts a couple of small updates. Most notably, the base V6 engine has been discontinued. On top of that, there's the new TRD Pro model on offer for 2015, which we've told you about before.
Why kill the V6? Simple - it was very low-volume. "The Tundra V6 take rate was significantly less than five percent," a Toyota spokesperson confirmed via email to Autoblog. So for 2015, the two V8 engine options remain - a 4.6-liter unit with 310 horsepower and 327 pound-feet of torque, or the more powerful 5.7-liter powerplant with 381 hp and 401 lb-ft. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, and rear-wheel drive is standard. Four-wheel drive, of course, is available with either engine.
The only other noteworthy changes for 2015 include an optional integrated trailer brake for the 5.7-liter models, a new rear under-seat tray storage system for Double Cab trucks, and a spray-in bed-liner. Scroll down for the official press blast.
Toyota Camry could lose No. 1 sedan spot next year [w/video]
Fri, 27 Sep 2013Eleven months after Toyota claimed the 2012 sales crown a couple of months early thanks to the Camry, the headlines this year have been quite a bit different to last. Even though the Camry remains the best selling car so far in 2013 and its volume has increased year-on-year, it has lost market share due to the 20-percent sales explosion in the midsize segment. That means people are buying more of the competitor offerings like the Honda Accord, Nissan Altima and Ford Fusion - the Altima, in fact, outsold the Camry by 100 units in March.
In July it was reported that Toyota was upping Camry incentives and fleet sales to keep its lead and that dealer inventory was climbing as, again, competitors got better at fighting the champion. In August Ford doubled down on production of the Fusion, adding a line in Flat Rock, MI to keep up with demand.
Bloomberg has a report looking at the numbers behind the Camry's dominance, as well as what appears to be a recorded group interview with Toyota USA CEO Jim Lentz, and wonders aloud whether the Camry will be able to hold its top spot in 2014. Barring catastrophe it has this year locked up, being more than 30,000 sales ahead of the next-best seller as of the end of August, but it has done so with higher incentives and lower transaction prices than its competitors. According to Strategic Vision the Camry's consideration rate among consumers has also declined by a percentage point, while the consideration rate for the Accord and Fusion has increased by one point and two points, respectively.
This '59 Cadillac is now on display at Toyota's museum in Japan
Tue, Dec 20 2016The Toyota Automobile Museum is different from a lot of other automaker collections in one very interesting way: It doesn't focus solely on Toyota's own automobiles. While the home team is certainly well represented, the love is spread to plenty of non-Toyota brands and vehicles that are significant to automotive history. And that permanent collection now includes the 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible you see here. Yes, the '59 Caddy has the biggest tail fins ever, which makes it measurably significant. You still wouldn't expect to see it in a museum in Japan, though. After updates to the facility and its exhibits finish early next year, the 67-vehicle collection will also include such greats as a Renault 5 (known here as the Le Car), a '64 Ford Mustang, an Audi Quattro, a first-gen Honda Insight, and a Lotus Elite. Someone over there has good taste. You can visit the Toyota Automobile Museum the next time you're in Nagakute City, which is right outside Nagoya. We're booking our tickets now.
