This is NOT a TACOMA Model , Its a TOYOTA Pick Up
Up for sale I have my 1995 Toyota Pick Up truck 4X4 Single cab Manual transmission with Sunroof and No AC . I purchased this pick up a few months ago with the intention of using it for deliveries for my business. After driving it a few days I was not able to use it since it was too lifted for what I really needed it for . I decided to start restoring it with the intention of keeping it but I still need a delivery truck for my business so this one will have to go. I Believe I am the second or third Owner of this pick up and it doesnt seem to ever been involved in a Crash. So far I have done the following to this Toyota Pick up truck : New Paint Job (1 month ago)- 1 Front fender was replaced and New tailgate Undercarriage was painted Black New Custom Exhaust System New Front Bumper New Front Bumper Lower valance New Rear Bumper New Rear Bumper Brackets New Exterior Door Handles New Bumper Lights New Corner Lights New Bushwacker Fender Flares New Seat covers New Husky Liners carpets New Front Brake Disks New Front Brake Pads New Battery Tune Up Included - Oil & Filter , Spark Plug wires ,Spark Plugs , Fuel Filter Everything else in the pick up was alredy installed by the previous owner , I have no idea what lift kit brand or shocks the pickup has , I measured the space between the tires and fender and is about 8 inches . The pick up runs and drive good , straight without any issues and there is still plenty of Clutch Life left . The pick up needs the front driver side drive shaft for the front suspension , I never installed one since I never went off road on it , If you want to use the 4X4 You will need to install the drive shaft. Tires are 15" Falken wildpeak A/T 35 Inch 35X12.50R15 LT With Plenty of Thread still left and the Wheels are Polished Eagle Alloys. Overall the Pick up is in good condition , Exterior is perfect with a New paint and no dings or scratches , the Interior carpet can use a really good cleaning , I was going to replace the Original carpet but never got to do it , the dash is in excellent condition with no cracks . The engine runs strong , I have been told these 22RE engines are pretty much bullet proof , The transmission shifts good without any noises or Grinding and plenty of clutch life left. I am selling the pick up truck as it is with No Reserve, Anyone interested is more than welcome to come and see it person . I have described the truck to best of my knowledge and If I remember anything else I will add it to the description . I might consider trades of higher or lower value plus cash. The Pick up is located in Hialeah Gardens FL 33016 , I have a clear florida Title. Honda Civic overtakes Toyota Corolla as America's best-selling compact
Mon, 04 Nov 2013The battle to claim October's best-selling compact sedan title has been won by the Honda Civic. The Japanese four-door sold 27,328 units, leaving the Toyota Corolla - September's title holder - in its wake with 23,637 units sold. In terms of year-to-date sales, the Civic sits at 280,899 units, with the Corolla trailing at 257,184 vehicles.
Sitting in third place, separated by a significant gap from the leaders, is the Chevrolet Cruze with 16,087 units sold. The Ford Focus earned fourth, with 15,108 units moved out of showrooms. (It is interesting to note that while the Civic and Corolla have both enjoyed double-digit sales increases year-over-year, the Cruze and Focus have seen significant decreases during the same period.)
Sales of the Hyundai Elantra hit 14,876 units, putting it in fifth place, with the Volkswagen Jetta earning sixth place with 11,710 units. Rounding out the ten top sellers were the Nissan Sentra (8,399 units), Mazda3 (7,647 units), Dodge Dart (5,617 units) and Subaru Impreza/WRX (4,923 units). The Kia Forte (4,706 units) and Volkswagen Golf (2,249 units), eleventh and twelfth respectively, have fallen behind.
2015 Toyota Camry ushers in 'sweeping redesign' [w/poll]
Wed, 16 Apr 2014With a dozen years atop the nation's best-selling car charts, you might think that there wouldn't be a lot of incentive for Toyota to rework its Camry, particularly so early in the life of the current model. But despite its unassailable sales totals, the midsize sedan has come in for substantial criticism for its milquetoast dynamics, piecemeal interiors and bland design.
As part of CEO Akio Toyoda's mantra to build more exciting cars, the 2015 Camry has arrived with a fresh new look and content that goes far beyond the Japanese automaker's typically slight mid-cycle redesigns. Featuring some 2,000 new parts, the 2015 Camry casts a 1.8-inch longer shadow and stretches across a widened track (0.4 inches). And it won't be just the widened track that should help deliver a more dynamic performance - Toyota is citing a stiffer chassis thanks to additional spot welds along with a rejiggered suspension, retuned electric power steering and a new two-stage brake booster for improved braking feel.
A new XSE trim promises the sportiest performance yet, including model-specific shock absorbers and springs, stiffer bushings, unique stability control programming and 18-inch wheels to go along with a unique front end treatment featuring mesh grille inserts and a revised fascia.
Drive like a prince: Join us for a walk through Monaco's car collection
Fri, Dec 29 2023Small, crowded, and a royal pain in the trunk lid to drive into during rush hour, Monaco sounds like an improbable location for a huge car museum. And yet, this tiny city-state has been closely linked to car culture for over a century. It hosts two major racing events every year, many of its residents would qualify for a frequent shopper card if Rolls-Royce issued one, and Prince Rainier III began assembling a collection of cars in the late 1950s. He opened his collection to the public in 1993 and the museum quickly turned into a popular tourist attraction. The collection continued to grow after his death in April 2005; it moved to a new facility located right on Hercules Port in July 2022. Monaco being Monaco, you'd expect to walk into a room full of the latest, shiniest, and most powerful supercars ever to shred a tire. That's not the case: while there is no shortage of high-horsepower machines, the first cars you see after paying ˆ10 (approximately $11) to get in are pre-war models. In that era, the template for the car as we know it in 2023 hadn't been created, so an eclectic assortment of expensive and dauntingly experimental machines roamed whatever roads were available to them. One is the Leyat Helica, which was built in France in 1921 with a 1.2-liter air-cooled flat-twin sourced from the world of aviation. Fittingly, the two-cylinder spun a massive, plane-like propeller. Government vehicles get a special spot in the museum. They range from a Cadillac Series 6700 with an amusing blend of period-correct French-market yellow headlights and massive fins to a 2011 Lexus LS 600h with a custom-made transparent roof panel that was built by Belgian coachbuilder Carat Duchatelet for Prince Albert II's wedding. Here's where it all gets a little weird: you've got a 1952 Austin FX3, a Ghia-bodied 1959 Fiat 500 Jolly, a 1960 BMW Isetta, and a 1971 Lotus Seven. That has to be someone's idea of a perfect four-car garage. One of the most significant cars in the collection lurks in the far corner of the main hall, which is located a level below the entrance. At first glance, it's a kitted-out Renault 4CV with auxiliary lights, a racing number on the front end, and a period-correct registration number issued in the Bouches-du-Rhone department of France. It doesn't look all that different than the later, unmodified 4CV parked right next to it. Here's what's special about it: this is one of the small handful of Type 1063 models built by Renault for competition.
