You are viewing a very clean 1996 Toyota Tacoma Extended Cab 4x4 LX with the legendary 2.7L 4-Cyl engine paired with a desirable smooth-shifting 5-speed manual transmission. This 4WD Tacoma has front locking hubs, ice cold air conditioning, driver airbag, factory Toyota bedliner, chrome running boards, nearly brand new tires, rear sliding window, upgraded excellent condition chrome bumpers and more. Super attractive color combo with Toyota Red Pearl (3K4) over tan cloth interior!

Extremely well-kept clean 1-Owner truck! Non-smoker clean interior, everything in such nice shape from the seats to the carpets to the headliner and dash. Body so so nice. Smooth body lines, minimal wear (very minimal), paint in nice condition as well. The only panel which has been previously painted is the left fender, likely to repair clear coat chips as this truck has not been in any accidents! As far as damages all you'll find a couple of scratches on the bed (not excessive) and a few paint chips which have been touched up. No major damages anywhere on this nice nice truck.

Super smooth engine, excellent clutch, excellent gears, 4x4 works perfectly in high and low range. Steering, suspension and brakes all nice and tight. Smooth quiet riding truck, which is a pleasure to step into and drive. Everything in it works terrific, and just as you'd like.

I'm not you know already just how rare it is to find one of these in this kind of condition, let along a true 1-Owner truck with a clean history and no heavy rust anywhere! Buy with confidence, you will not be disappointed with this rare truck. You will love seeing it in your driveway, and it will hold its value for years to come, and likely appreciate in value as well!

Watch the Muppets go for ice cream in a Toyota

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

Do Muppets drive? We're not sure it's necessarily a good idea, but it's been known to happen. Fozzy called his hibernating uncle's Studebaker a bear's "natural habitat," and Doctor Teeth wouldn't get the Electric Mayhem very far without his band's psychedelically painted school bus. But how about Rolf in a 2014 Toyota Highlander?
That's what we got a glimpse of in the run-up to the Super Bowl, and the same combination (plus one Rizzo the Rat) that features in this adorably ordinary video below. Ordinary because it's just a couple of guys going out for an ice cream. Adorable because, well... they're Muppets. See what we mean in the surprisingly entertaining two-minute clip below.

Watch this cement truck roll into Toyota minivan from driver's point of view

Thu, 10 Apr 2014

If you've been having an easy day and haven't received your daily dose of unmitigated terror, then this video is for you. Dr. Guan Zhu, a Texas A&M professor, caught the above view on his dashcam in College Station, TX, as a cement truck ran a red light, lost control and rolled into his Toyota Sienna minivan.
Although he received only minor injuries, Dr. Zhu says that he blacked out during the accident. The truck driver also avoided serious injuries, and the Sienna took the hit rather well too. Scroll down to watch the footage and report from KBTX. Hopefully, this is as close anyone else ever gets to a terrifying event of this nature.

Toyota fills in details about its future design direction and global platform

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

"In the future, out of 100 customers, we want to excite ten of them instead of not offending all 100."
Almost all of the details about the Toyota New Group Architecture (TNGA) strategy have come out since the initiative was first reported on in March of this year, but Autoblog did learn a few new things about it on a recent trip to Japan. Probably the second-most important detail is that each new segment platform will be based around a common hip point to create an "optimal driving position architecture."
