You are looking at a 1984 Toyota Supra Performance Pack, 5 Speed. I am a car collector and very picky. This car I had to have. I believe that if you were able to physically touch, sit in and drive it. You would feel the same. About the car. I bought the car restored. Everything is factory and works perfect. There is no rust and has never been any, or rust repairs. The paint job is show winning and perfect. No dents, dings or scratches any where. As you can see in the pictures the car is flawless. The car starts, runs, drives, brakes and handles as a new one. Wheels are actually better then new. Clutch feels new. Tires are new. Shifts like a new one. Windows, locks and sunroof work as new. There isn't even any squeaks, rattles. No wind noise or leaks. No water leaks. I didn't buy this car to sell it. I loved it and still do. But I am going to be moving out of state. Transport and storage. I am finding out I am not even having time to drive them. Just have to do what I have to do. I have dealt on ebay for many years. Bought and sold many items, over 700. Now in that 700 I received nothing but positive feed backs. That's because I call things just as they are and don't need to lie. The only negatives of the car that I am aware of is the leather steering wheel wrap could be dyed. The drivers door panel on the very top section. There is a very tiny slice in the vinyl. There are mobile companies that do work for car deals that can mend it for very cheap. They also can dye the steering wheel. If I remember right I think one of the rear speakers crackle in bass notes. Last but not least. If you di not now it you would say the car probably has 10 to 15 K miles on it from all observations. The car in reality has just over 100 K miles on it. I believe the engine might have been rebuilt. Now on serious buyers only. I have no doubts about this car. I would have a compression check done on it to prove it's fine. There will be no disappointments with this car. I have more pictures if you need to see something else. Just call and let me know. My name is Randell Carr 1-309-269-1203 Call me with any questions at all. Best of luck!!!!! You won't be Sorry!!!!! |

2014 Toyota Tundra appears with revised styling, same mechanicals
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Toyota has pulled the curtain back on its 2014 Tundra, showing a truck that has gotten its most significant refresh since its launch as a 2007 model. For better or worse, however, the changes that Toyota has made to the fullsize pickup are mostly cosmetic, with the underpinnings of the vehicle staying unchanged.
The most obvious revision for 2014 is to the bluff front fascia of the truck. There's a new, taller squared-off grille decorating the Tundra's nose, along with a revised, three-part front bumper design. The optional black grille-frame strikes us as an acquired taste, to say the least, but other models, like the Limited above, is all clad in chrome. Fenders and wheel wells are more square than in the out-going truck, too. Perhaps most significant is the revised bed design, which Toyota calls "all-new," with new sheet metal on the sides, a revised tailgate and a very subtle integrated spoiler.
Inside, Toyota has given buyers some new seats and a new-look instrument panel. A backup camera (always handy on big trucks) is now standard equipment on all grades, as is Bluetooth connectivity. Blind spot monitoring is a new, optional feature as well. In all, as with the exterior mods, the changes in-cabin are far more evolutionary than revolutionary.
J.D. Power study sees new car dependability problems increase for first time since 1998
Wed, 12 Feb 2014For the first time since 1998, J.D. Power and Associates says its data shows that the average number of problems per 100 cars has increased. The finding is the result of the firm's much-touted annual Vehicle Dependability Study, which charts incidents of problems in new vehicle purchases over three years from 41,000 respondents.
Looking at first-owner cars from the 2011 model year, the study found an average of 133 problems per 100 cars (PP100, for short), up 6 percent from 126 PP100 in last year's study, which covered 2010 model-year vehicles. Disturbingly, the bulk of the increase is being attributed to engine and transmission problems, with a 6 PP100 boost.
Interestingly, JDP notes that "the decline in quality is particularly acute for vehicles with four-cylinder engines, where problem levels increase by nearly 10 PP100." Its findings also noticed that large diesel engines also tended to be more problematic than most five- and six-cylinder engines.
Next-gen Toyota Tacoma to debut at Detroit Auto Show
Thu, Dec 4 2014Toyota's confirmation comes on the heels of General Motors' successful launch of its own midsize pickups. The next generation of the Toyota Tacoma pickup truck will be revealed in January at the Detroit Auto Show, a top executive confirmed Thursday. Bob Carter, senior vice president of automotive operations for Toyota, offered no other details, but the new version of the pickup is expected to have significant upgrades compared with the aging model on sale now. Our spy shooters caught a prototype testing this summer, and rumors of the new generation have been swirling for months. We've also previously reported that Toyota is planning to ramp up production next April at a factory in Mexico that builds the Tacoma. Toyota's confirmation comes on the heels of General Motors' successful launch of its own midsize pickups, the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon, which have garnered awards, positive reviews and solid sales since they arrived in showrooms this fall. It's unclear how large the new Tacoma will be, especially considering that the Canyon and Colorado flirt with fullsize territory. The Tacoma was last updated in 2012, and the segment has changed dramatically since then with the addition of the GM trucks. Another Tacoma competitor, Honda's aging Ridgeline, is also expected to re-launch in 2015, which would leave the Nissan Frontier as the oldest truck in the field. Tacoma sales have slipped 4.1 percent to 140,757 units this year, though they posted a 3.3-percent gain in November. Meanwhile, Carter also said Lexus will reveal two performance vehicles, though he didn't elaborate. "I'll leave it at that, but I promise you'll enjoy it," he said coyly. Lexus just showed the LF-C2 convertible concept at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
