Hello, Up for sale is my current daily driver it is a 2002 Toyota Solara SLE Convertible. The car currently has 162,xxx miles and is equipped with an automatic transmission. 3.0L 1MZ-FE V6 engine with 200 hp, automatic transmission, leather and power seats, power locks and windows, power convertible top, cruise control, AC, Heat, CD player. This car has been great to me over the past few years and has never let us down. If you are looking for a car with toyota reliability but the sporty fun of taking the top down in the summer, this is the car for you!

However the car has some paint scuffs and scratches, it is a 162k car therefore it has been driven so. There is a pretty heavy paint scuff on the passenger side door but it should be able to be buffed out. It is just a surface scuff which should be able to get out (can see in pictures). The interior has some normal wear.
The Check engine light is on. Was told that the transmission may need to be replaced in some time. The car drives fine and I drive it everyday without any problem. However we took precautions by replacing all transmission gaskets and adding new transmission fluid, so it could last another 100k miles or 30k miles. Just want to explain everything about the car before it sells. This is the reason for being $1000 under blue book value.

Toyota nudges US sales projections up to 2.25M
Tue, 20 Aug 2013Toyota has raised its expectations for 2013's US sales for the third time since the end of 2012. The new target rests at 2.25 million units, when sales of Toyota, Lexus and Scion are taken as one. Subtracting Lexus, Toyota is still expecting to move over two million vehicles in the US by the end of 2013.
According to a report from Automotive News, the sales expectations came from Bob Carter, senior VP of automotive operations for Toyota USA, during a dealers during a meeting in Atlanta. The heightened expectations go along with Toyota's predictions for the US market as a whole, which it expects to grow to 15.5 million units by the end of 2013.
Besides an overall, national uptick in new vehicle sales, Toyota is also expecting a big push as it puts the next-generation Corolla to market during the second half of this year, along with the Tundra pickup truck. Meanwhile, dealers were shown images of a refreshed Camry, set to arrive in 2015, and reported that it's "more than a nip and a tuck," according to the AN report.
