2010 Toyota Sienna Le Leather Really Nice Vehicle on 2040-cars
2010 Toyota Sienna LE V6 Automatic This vehicle is in excellent condition. It has all leather interior, working overhead DVD player (sound can be played on the wireless headphones that are included or over the radio), power doors, power mirrors, power drivers seat, rear temperature control (can be adjusted from back seat), 6 disc CD player, tilt steering wheel, new Goodyear Assurance tires (less than 5,000 miles on them), remote control side door opener, and rear windshield wiper. This vehicle has very clean interior and the exterior is in like new condition ... no dents or scratches!!! The oil and air filter have just been changed. All of the mileage is highway miles. This vehicle is smoke free. Title in hand. Rides super smooth. The seats are like new! Seats 7 passengers. All of the middle and rear seats are easily removable for hauling large items. Seats also fold down to make tables for eating on (We never used them as tables, but it is a very nice option). This is a wonderful family car ... it is so easy to travel with children ... and makes getting car seats in and out very easy! The DVD player is the perfect thing for traveling with kids. We just took this vehicle on a trip (2,000 miles round trip to Florida) with our daughter who is 8, and no vehicle could have been more perfect. This vehicle won't last long ... feel free to contact us to take a look or ask us any questions you may have. It only has 74,500 miles on it. The van it does have a KY rebuilt water title. It was bought from an insurance company, but has had no water in it. Me and my dad own a business where we fix flooded and wrecked vehicles. We bought this vehicle from the insurance company in New York and they had about a million vehicles up there. We received the van and there were never any signs of water ... we repaired nothing. I guess they had so many they could not check each one to verify water damage. Since no water was ever in this vehicle I decided to keep it for my personal vehicle have driven it to Siesta Key, Flordia 2 times this year. There is no corrosion on any electrical plugs, no signs of water any where, no water in any fluids including engine oil. The only blemish on the vehicle is it does have a small ding and a chip smaller than a dime on driver door directly under door handle and brownish stain in the trunk compartment on the carpet not very noticeable. Please feel free to message with any questions you may have or to request any information or additional photos. |

2014 Toyota Corolla shows its new Euro-spec nose [w/poll]
Fri, 07 Jun 2013After tons of teasing, Toyota finally unveiled the all-new 2014 Corolla in the wee hours of the - at least to those of us here in the Midwest. The fresh new face of the US-spec car takes a number of cues from the Camry and Avalon sedans, and in S trim with the large alloy wheels and blacked-out front fascia, we'd even venture this is the most boldly styled North American Corolla to date (faint praise as that may be).
Of course, our friends in other markets will also be getting fully updated versions of the Corolla as well, and here, we're getting our first glimpse at the European-spec car, complete with a very different front fascia that, at least in this trim, seems to take a more conservative design approach. A quick poll of the Autoblog staff shows that we're torn as to whether or not we prefer this European look to our North American-specific car, but at least in the sporty-ish S trim, we think the Americans may have got the better end of the deal.
The Euro-spec Corolla actually shares a lot of its design with its larger platform-mate, the Auris, a car that we don't - and likely won't - get in the States. Inside, the European Corolla looks basically the same as the NA car, and while market-specific engines and specifications haven't been released yet, it's expected that the Corolla will share much of its dirty bits with the European Auris, as well.
Safety Agency Studying Toyota Acceleration Problem
Mon, Sep 29 2014A U.S. safety agency is looking into a consumer's petition alleging that older Toyota Corollas can accelerate unexpectedly at low speeds and cause crashes. The inquiry by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration covers about 1.69 million of the Corolla compact cars from the 2006 to 2010 model years. The agency will decide whether to open a formal investigation into the problem. An unidentified consumer said in a letter to the agency that he experienced multiple low-speed surges in a 2010 Corolla, and the brakes failed to stop the car in time to prevent a crash. The consumer said the problem caused one collision with a parked vehicle on June 8. "In addition to evidence from our crash incident, we are providing evidence that many other Corolla owners are experiencing similarly unsafe scenarios that are leading to crashes," said a portion of the consumer's letter posted Monday on NHTSA's website. The consumer provided 163 reports from other drivers who experienced a surge at low speed or no speed. But NHTSA said it eliminated duplicates, those outside the scope of the 2006-2010 model years and those from foreign countries to get 141. No injuries were reported. The agency said it would evaluate all of the complaints from the consumer in order to decide whether to grant or deny the petition and open a formal investigation. The consumer filed the petition on Sept. 11, according to the documents. Messages were left Monday morning seeking comment from Toyota. In 2009 and 2010, Toyota issued a series of recalls totaling more than 10 million vehicles for various problems including faulty brakes, sticky gas pedals and ill-fitting floor mats. Toyota is under pressure to announce recalls quickly after a U.S. government investigation found it hid information about past defects. Last month, the company agreed to pay $1.2 billion to settle that investigation. It also paid fines totaling $66 million to the U.S. government for delays in reporting unintended acceleration problems. The company has said it made "fundamental changes to become a more responsive and customer-focused organization, and we are committed to continued improvements." Drive like a prince: Join us for a walk through Monaco's car collection
Fri, Dec 29 2023Small, crowded, and a royal pain in the trunk lid to drive into during rush hour, Monaco sounds like an improbable location for a huge car museum. And yet, this tiny city-state has been closely linked to car culture for over a century. It hosts two major racing events every year, many of its residents would qualify for a frequent shopper card if Rolls-Royce issued one, and Prince Rainier III began assembling a collection of cars in the late 1950s. He opened his collection to the public in 1993 and the museum quickly turned into a popular tourist attraction. The collection continued to grow after his death in April 2005; it moved to a new facility located right on Hercules Port in July 2022. Monaco being Monaco, you'd expect to walk into a room full of the latest, shiniest, and most powerful supercars ever to shred a tire. That's not the case: while there is no shortage of high-horsepower machines, the first cars you see after paying ˆ10 (approximately $11) to get in are pre-war models. In that era, the template for the car as we know it in 2023 hadn't been created, so an eclectic assortment of expensive and dauntingly experimental machines roamed whatever roads were available to them. One is the Leyat Helica, which was built in France in 1921 with a 1.2-liter air-cooled flat-twin sourced from the world of aviation. Fittingly, the two-cylinder spun a massive, plane-like propeller. Government vehicles get a special spot in the museum. They range from a Cadillac Series 6700 with an amusing blend of period-correct French-market yellow headlights and massive fins to a 2011 Lexus LS 600h with a custom-made transparent roof panel that was built by Belgian coachbuilder Carat Duchatelet for Prince Albert II's wedding. Here's where it all gets a little weird: you've got a 1952 Austin FX3, a Ghia-bodied 1959 Fiat 500 Jolly, a 1960 BMW Isetta, and a 1971 Lotus Seven. That has to be someone's idea of a perfect four-car garage. One of the most significant cars in the collection lurks in the far corner of the main hall, which is located a level below the entrance. At first glance, it's a kitted-out Renault 4CV with auxiliary lights, a racing number on the front end, and a period-correct registration number issued in the Bouches-du-Rhone department of France. It doesn't look all that different than the later, unmodified 4CV parked right next to it. Here's what's special about it: this is one of the small handful of Type 1063 models built by Renault for competition.
