Keep in mind any DMV fees, registration fees, transfer fees, late penalties and smog fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Cars2Charities will provide all California buyers with either a Smog Certificate at the cost of $58.25 (paid by the buyer) or a "certificate of non-compliance". Smog test will be done after vehicle is sold and determined that California buyer has purchased the vehicle.

V6 AUTOMATIC FRONT WHEEL DRIVE FULLY LOADED POWER WINDOWS POWER DOOR LOCKS TILT CRUISE CASSETTE ICE COLD A/C REAR A/C TINTED WINDOWS 7 PASSENGER SEATING ROOF RACK THIS VAN RUNS AND DRIVES EXCELLENT. IT IS A VERY SOLID VAN. IT HAS NEAR NEW TIRES AND EVERYTHING SEEMS TO WORK WELL ON THE VAN. THE HOOD HAS MULTIPLE SCRATCHES AND PAINT MARKS AND THERE IS A SMALL BUBBLING OF PAINT ON THE ROOF RIGHT NEXT TO THE WINDSHIELD, OTHERWISE IT IS IN GOOD SHAPE. LOOK AT ALL THE PICTURES. ***PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE WATER PUMP IS LEAKING VERY HEAVILY, THIS VEHICLE SHOULD NOT BE DRIVEN FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME BEFORE THE WATER PUMP IS REPLACED*** CALIFORNIA CLEAR TITLE, EXPIRATION IS 02/2014. Payment and Fees: Each vehicle will be charged a $150 buyer fee on top of the winning bid. The deposit is a non refundable deposit unless Cars 2 Charities has mis represented the vehicle. A deposit must be made within 24-48 hours of winning bid. Deposit can be made using Paypal online or a Credit Card over the phone. The balance of the winning bid and buyer fee will be paid at the time of pick up. All payments except the deposit will need to be certified funds only. This is: Cash, Cashiers check or money order. Vehicles must be picked up within 3 days of winning bid. If vehicle is not paid and picked up, a storage fee of $25 per day will be assessed on the purchase. Edmunds ranks the best used cars for 2013
Sun, 15 Sep 2013When people ask us what car we would recommend for them, it's usually not easy to answer. To make a useful recommendation we must consider which of the numerous vehicle segments fits their needs best, and then choose one of the many vehicles offered in each segment. For some people, new cars don't meet their expectations of value, because they lose so much of it the moment they are purchased and driven off the dealer lot. For them, there's always the used-car market, where great deals can be found, but cars' histories of reliability and maintenance records - and perhaps that Certified Pre-Owned warranty - become ever-important factors playing into purchase choice.
To help out, Edmunds has done us the favor of assembling a list of the best used vehicles money can buy, covering model years 2006-2011, according to what it considers the most important criteria when shopping for used autos: reliability, safety, value and availability. That means unreliable, unsafe, super-expensive or limited-edition models don't appear on the list, but instead cars from each segment that are more likely to satisfy the general population.
There are some real goodies on the list, including but not limited to vehicles such as the capable Honda Fit, the cultish Honda Accord coupe (which can be had with a 240-horsepower V6 and a six-speed manual transmission some years), and the powerful Chevrolet Corvette. While Edmunds' choice of the Volvo C70 for best used convertible baffled us at first (not that it's a bad car), it redeemed itself by stating that the Mazda MX-5 still is an unofficial top choice if you don't require more than two seats.
