You are looking at a very fine Toyota Sequoia. It runs very well and is loaded with options like leather seats, power everything, DVD, and can hold 8 people. The tires are in great shape as you can see from the pictures. It is a great car and I hate to sell it but you see, I make a mistake when I bought it. I thought it had 4WD, which I need where I live. It seems that I was so excited to sign on the dotted line that I didn't go over things as closely as I should have. But don't worry, my friends have teased me mercilessly so you don't have to pile on :) The car has never been smoked in and smells kind of nice because it mostly gets driven by a girl. The car is in terrific shape with just a couple exceptions: The power sunroof doesn't work, the rear hatch doesn't lock and the DVD player may be possessed because sometimes it just refuses to work. The temperature display doesn't work either. There is a paint scuff on the back bumper which you can see in the pictures but it isn't dented - just a scuff. The car has been repainted and I have a CarFax available if you are interested. I just had a new alternator installed. If you are lucky enough to find yourself in Utah, come take it for a spin. If not, ask me as many questions as you want. I just want this car to go to a good home. Thanks for looking!

Toyota, Lexus to build more CUVs to meet surging demand
Sun, Jan 18 2015What was the biggest takeaway from the auto industry's 2014? Besides the fact that recalls are now a sad and mostly unremarkable part of a vehicle's life, it's that you can't be a competitive, mainstream brand in the US without a really strong line of crossovers, SUVs or pickups. We saw evidence of this as recently as Monday, when Hyundai unveiled its HCD-15 Santa Cruz Concept, and now we're seeing it again with Toyota. The company already has a comprehensive lineup of both mainstream and luxury CUVs and SUVs, although surging demand – sales were up 16 percent last year, Bloomberg reports – has led the company to increase its production tempo at the plants responsible for the RAV4 and Lexus RX. "The freeze is still in place until the end of March of 2016," Toyota's Jim Lentz told Bloomberg during this week's Detroit Auto Show, referencing the production bump at the Japanese and Canadian factories responsible for the models. "That hasn't changed. All indications are that it will lift, but right now it has not lifted." The increased sales are even spurring the brand to consider additional CUVs, including a compact that would slot in below the RAV4, Lentz told the business publication. Such a move would give Toyota a player in an increasingly competitive and important segment. In 2014 alone, mainstream brands, including Honda, Mazda, Chevrolet and Jeep, have announced brand new products destined for the compact CUV market. "We're going to have to look at how the market under RAV4 develops," Lentz told Bloomberg. "There's no question that it's going to. That's going to be the next growth spurt." Related Video:
2014 Toyota 4Runner Limited
Thu, 08 May 2014What would you say if we told you that outside of Jeep and Land Rover, the best brand for those who want to go off road is Toyota? Sounds remarkable, eh? But the truth is, Toyota's history of providing vehicles for the rougher bits of our blue marble dates back to 1950, barely a decade after Willys built the first Jeeps and only a few years after Land Rover made its big debut with the iconic Series I.
In fact, Toyota's start in off-roaders was with a small contract for providing the US Army with vehicles, during the Korean War. From that, the BJ was spawned. This Jeep-like vehicle evolved into the 20 Series and then into the iconic 40 Series Land Cruiser in the 1960s.
So yes, Toyota knows its way around the trails. While the Land Cruiser, deservedly, gets all the attention thanks to its impressive longevity, we're partial to the 4Runner, which is a far more affordable entry that serves as Toyota's challenger to the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
