Description

Up for sale is a gorgeous 2007 Toyota RAV4 compact SUV equipped with a strong yet fuel efficient 2.4L engine and Automatic transmission. This RAV4 has just 47k original miles on the clock and it runs and drives LIKE NEW! We are selling the car on behalf of our customer who bought it from us several months ago and is now upgrading to a bigger vehicle. We had purchased the car from an insurance company with water damage announcement. When we got the car, there were NO signs of water inside! There was NO damage to the engine or transmission either.

We have carefully inspected the vehicle and flushed fluids to make sure there is no water there. We have also checked the wiring and connectors, professionally detailed the interior and installed a brand new battery. The car runs and drives GREAT with no problems. Engine, transmission and all electrical components including blower motor, radio, power windows etc work fine. The interior is extra clean with no rips or or odors of any kind, still smells LIKE NEW! This is a NON-smoker vehicle. All four tires are still in good shape.

The insurance company did not attempt to start the vehicle or verify mileage at time of sale due to previous water damage. That's why they marked "Not actual miles" on the paperwork. The actual mileage on this Toyota is just 47641 miles!

This RAV4 is loaded with a gorgeous Gray Leather interior, 4WD System, Cruise Control, Traction Control, Power Windows, locks and mirrors, Side Airbags, Sun/Moonroof, CD, ice cold A/C and much more! The car comes with rebuilt NY title. The car has already passed NY salvage inspection, so you should be able to register it in any state with no problems.

This Toyota RAV4 runs and drives great, engine and transmission work 100%. There are NO leaks or noises of any kind, NO warning lights on the dash, NO stories! If you've been looking for a low mileage reliable ride that won't break your bank - this is it! We try to describe our cars as accurately as possible, but please remember they are used cars and therefore are not perfect. We cannot describe every small detail, so if you have any specific questions please ask them before bidding. We cannot guarantee the condition of wearable and routine maintenance items - tires, brakes, rotors etc. - please take it into account and bid accordingly.

Here is your chance to own this low mileage Toyota RAV4 and SAVE THOUSANDS off retail! Remember, you drive the car - not the title! Recharge Wrap-up: Toyota FCV ready for production, Nissan tests Leaf-to-Home energy management

Fri, Oct 17 2014

Toyota will begin selling its hydrogen fuel cell vehicle (FCV) in Japan in December. The US and Europe can expect to see the car become available next summer. The FCV, which will likely be called "Mirai" (meaning "future") in Japan, is ready for production ahead of its initial deadline at the end of the fiscal year in March. Toyota planned for annual production of 700 units, but might increase output to meet higher-than-expected demand, which is currently nearing 1,000 units. The cars will mostly be sold in the four cities where a hydrogen fueling infrastructure is already being put in place: Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka. Read more at Nikkei Asian Review. Nissan is testing the Leaf EV as part of an energy management system including "Leaf to Home" technology. The system allows the Leaf to help support the power grid during peak energy usage, or provide backup power to a home or building during outages, particularly in emergencies like natural disasters. Using the Leaf's battery to provide electricity during peak hours would lessen the demand on the grid and make the system work more efficiently. Furthermore, if consumers are compensated for the energy saved by using the Leaf for power during periods of high demand, it could encourage more people to adopt the EV. CDP keeps track of how much companies are disclosing about their impact on global climate change. "The need for data on corporate climate change impacts and strategies to reduce them has never been greater," says CDP CEO Paul Simpson. "For this reason we congratulate those businesses that have achieved a position on CDP's Climate Disclosure Leadership Index." Other perfect scores were earned by Nissan, BMW, Daimler and General Motors. Read more in the press release from Honda below. Scientists at Stanford University have developed a lithium ion battery that can warn users before it overheats. A thin layer of copper between the anode and the layer separating the anode from the cathode acts as a sensor. When it detects lithium buildups from overcharging are approaching the separator, it sends an early alert long before it gets to a point where it would cause a short (which could lead to a fire). The new safety measure could be used in all sorts of battery applications, and not be limited to EVs. Learn more at Phys.org.

Supra successor may be all-electric sourced from Tesla; MR2 returning too?

Wed, 14 Nov 2012

Rumors of a revival of the Toyota Supra and MR2 have been swirling for years right up until just this week when high-level Toyota employees all but confirmed their return.
But now The Detroit Bureau has put together news from different sources suggesting that the next Supra might be all electric. The report cites recent comments from Toyota senior executives hinting at plans to work with Tesla on a new joint project. The FT-HS Concept (shown above) seems a logical inspiration for a new Supra.
And on the other side of the equation is Tesla's design chief Franz von Holzhausen who was quoted last year saying his company was looking at its next project, probably a sports car, that would follow next year's intro of the Model X. He went on to suggest the car would compete directly with BMW's 3 Series, which, in coupe form, could be a worthy competitor to a Supra as well.

Suzuki and Daihatsu join Toyota electric vehicle venture

Wed, Jul 21 2021

TOKYO — Suzuki Motor Corp and Daihatsu are joining a commercial electric vehicle coalition led by Toyota Motor Corp, the carmakers announced on Wednesday, helping the Japanese alliance expand its focus from trucks to smaller cars. The two automakers will each acquire a 10% stake in the joint venture, on par with Isuzu Motors and Hino Motors, while Toyota will hold a 60% stake, they said. "With Suzuki and Daihatsu joining the project and working together, we'll be able to expand our circle of cooperation to not only cover commercial vehicles but also mini vehicles," said Toyota President Akio Toyoda. "With this expansion, I believe that we'll be able to take one step closer to a better mobility society," Toyoda said. The move comes as Japanese automakers face growing competition from tech giants and other rivals making electric and driverless cars. Toyota, Isuzu and Hino launched the Commercial Japan Partnership Technologies Corporation in April to bolster their competitive edge in connected, commercial vehicles. Daihatsu's president Soichiro Okudaira said joining the pact and introducing connected, mini-commercial vehicles would allow data sharing, a major benefit for companies to provide better services to customers and improve logistics efficiency.
