You are looking at a very nice 2002 Toyota Sedan that runs on either Hybrid Electric or Gasoline. This reliable  automatic transmission economy car has 210,321 miles on it and still has a lot of life left in it. Yes that is a lot of miles, but this car is tight on the road and drives well...It was owned by couple that lived in Baltimores Federal Hill area.. and is a one owner....It is great to live downtown but it is tight parking, and you can tell this by looking at the bumpers. Lots of little scratches and bumps...This Toyota was well maintained....

The gray cloth interior has no rips or tears and is very clean and shows great, and the previous was a non-smoker! The AC is cold and everything works... This car runs great , is pleasant to drive, and is a real gas saver...It was well maintained...and we love to see those oil change reminder stickers in the window...See pics...

The Silver exterior shows  well......See pictures. The hood has some chips in the paint.and there are scratches on the front and rear bumpers. ..The tires are all radials and look fine....This is how we got this car and we have since detailed it and it looks even better...

The Hybrid Gas motor starts right right up, has plenty of power...and doesn't smoke and runs great. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The check engine light is on...Also the triangle is lit....But we can tell you that this car runs great...This gas saving Hybrid will drive you home wherever you need to drive. Bid early to show interest....Look at what others are advertising Toyota Prius vehicles for..This one sold no reserve... Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell coming to US Northeast in 2016

Sun, 16 Nov 2014

Looks like someone was able to read the future back in July. That's when rumors first circulated that Toyota's upcoming fuel cell vehicle will be called the Mirai. Today, Toyota president Akio Toyoda confirmed the name alongside plans to build out a hydrogen refueling infrastructure in the US Northeast.
In Japanese, mirai (??) means "future," which is a fitting name for a car that Toyota believes represents the direction the auto industry will go in the coming years. In a promotional video announcing the name, Toyoda said, "For [Toyota], this isn't just another car. This is an opportunity - an opportunity to really make a difference. And making a difference is what Toyota is all about."
To help that future come into existence, Toyota CEO Jim Lentz also disclosed the vague outline of a fuel cell infrastructure investment that Toyota and partner Air Liquide will make in a five-state Northeastern corridor that consists of Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island. The Mirai will be available there in 2015 and Toyota is going to build 12 stations in and around New York and Boston to support the launch. More details will be available later.

Rod Millen to face Monster Tajima in Electric Division of Pikes Peak Hill Climb

Mon, 11 Feb 2013

The 91st running of the Pike's Peak International Hill Climb is scheduled to begin on June 30. Like last year's event, the 12.42 mile course - fully paved these days - starts at 9,390 feet elevation and doesn't stop climbing until it reaches an impressive 14,110 feet (the air is so thin up there that the FAA requires pilots to use oxygen at that altitude).
There will be an assortment of internal combustion machines racing to the summit, entries from France, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Sweden, Brazil, Canada, Great Britain, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland and Belgium, but all eyes will be on the electric showdown between Rod Millen and Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima, from Japan. 61-year-old Millen is a familiar name to Toyota racing fans, and he will be driving the Toyota TMG EV P002 (it won the Electric title last year), while Tajima will be again piloting the Monster Sport E-Runner (which was forced out of the field last year after a fire broke out).
Other entrants include Rhys Millen driving a 2013 Hyundai PM58OT and Paul Dallenbach, who will be driving Millen's Hyundai Genesis Coupe (it set the all-time speed mark last year).

New version of Toyota FT-1 Concept gets racy for Gran Turismo 6

Thu, 07 Aug 2014

Gran Turismo 6 has been the preferred marketing springboard for quite a few brands and concept cars since its debut last winter. Specifically the GT Vision concept idea - allowing manufacturers a built-in place to offer up new, original, drivable content - has enticed the likes of Mercedes, Nissan, Volkswagen, Toyota and more to dream big on the digital stage before pulling the sheets back on real concept cars.
In fact, Toyota teamed its live reveal of the FT-1 Concept at the Detroit Auto Show with an in-game launch of the car, just this past January. Looking for a second bite at the GT6 apple, Toyota has just released a teaser video for a new, FT-1 Vision GT version of the same concept.
The company isn't giving us much to go on save for the 30-second video, saying only that the concept was penned by Toyota's Calty Design Research team in California, and that it will "soon be available for download." By the looks of it, the new FT-1 seems to be more of a racecar than the original, without obvious changes to the basic form. No word on whether or not there's a physical concept car in the offing at a yet-to-be-named auto show. Stay tuned.
