Selling our 1991 MR2 Turbo Coupe with 5 speed transmission. This is a nice car that has always been loved, garaged, and maintained. This car has been in Georgia its whole life. You will have to look hard to find one like this. Everything works on this car - Air Conditioning, cruise, etc. Always maintained with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic Oil and genuine Toyota Oil Filters. Monthly detail and had wax. Not smoked in. Timing belt and water pump has been done, have receipts. All original except - Factory Turbo, inter cooler and blow off valve were upgraded to Greddy based on recommendation of service shop due to high occurrences of factory turbo failure. Boost has never been increased over stock. Original parts have been properly stored and are included if new owner wants them. This was expensive but worth it. We also just replaced the original antenna with an original OEM Factory Toyota replacement. The original was sticking sometimes. The car was also just serviced with Mobil 1 full Synthetic for the new owner. This car drives well and is a joy to travel in. Toyota recalling select 2014 Camry and Avalon models
Thu, 06 Nov 2014Toyota has announced a rather small voluntary recall, affecting 5,650 Avalon and Camry sedans from model year 2014. Both gas and hybrid models are included in the action.
This recall focuses on the left front lower suspension arm, which may have a bad bolt connecting it to the ball joint. If the car hits a big enough pothole - a real concern as we head into winter - or suffers a major impact, the two components could separate, at which point steering control would more or less vanish.
According to Toyota, there have been no crashes, injuries or deaths due to this problem. Toyota is notifying owners, who will need to report to dealers for a free replacement lower suspension arm.

Judge halts Toyota unintended acceleration cases, triggers time for settlement negotiations
Mon, 16 Dec 2013So far, the lawsuits brought forth against Toyota for unintended acceleration have gone both ways: the automaker was found not at fault in a 2009 California crash and liable for a 2007 crash in Oklahoma. Both cases involved a Camry and resulted in fatalities. With a big chunk of these UA cases (around 200) set to his the docket of US District Judge James V. Selna in Santa Ana, California, Bloomberg is reporting that the judge has halted the lawsuits until March after Toyota and its lawyers have had extra time to try and settle the cases.
According to the article, Toyota is looking to take care of the cases out of court with an "intensive settlement process." Having already paid out $1.6 billion in "economic loss" suits, this latest settlement process is aimed at the wrongful death and personal injury cases allegedly associated with unintended acceleration. A hearing for the settlements will be held on January 14 with conferences on the matter commencing in February. There is no word as to when lawsuits may start back up if settlements can't be agreed upon.
