Fully loaded and equipped with t-tops, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, 4 wheel power disk brakes, 4 wheel independent suspension, rear defrost, selectable dual mode ETC automatic transmission, fuel grade selector, and am/fm cd radio (comes with original radio as well), custom autosound speakers behind seats. Paint is nice and shiny but not perfect, no dents in body, interior is in good shape, underbody is excellent, has good oil pressure and does not burn oil. Drives and brakes straight with no pulling or pulsating and the steering is still tight. Had full professional service performed in 2013 including all 4 struts replaced, new timing belt, new water pump, new tensioner, alignment, new tires, new battery, new muffler, rebuilt alternator-have all receipts. Toyota SEMA cars include Tundra for Baja and wacky DUB Edition Yaris
Tue, 28 Oct 2014Toyota has released the first images of its brigade of concepts for the 2014 SEMA Show, introducing a trio of TRD-fettled off-roaders, a pair of DUB-inspired models, a race-ready pickup and a Sienna minivan with 48 inches worth of subwoofers.
Four of the vehicles being shown by Toyota will take part in the grueling Baja 1000 off-road race. The star of that effort will be a race-prepared Tundra, which will actually be competing from November 12 to 16 in the 47th running of the desert race. It'll be supported by a trio of vehicles, which mimics Toyota's TRD Pro Series production vehicles, with the 4Runner, Tacoma and Tundra all acting as support vehicles.
Each of these vehicles has been fabricated by the off-road specialists at N-Fab and comes loaded down with communications and guidance equipment, additional lights and off-road body modifications.

DoJ fines Japanese parts firms $740M in massive automotive price-fixing scandal
Fri, 27 Sep 2013Nine Japanese suppliers have pleaded guilty in US court over charges of price fixing in the automotive parts industry, resulting in the Department of Justice doling out a total of $740 million of fines, according to a report from Bloomberg. The scandal, which has resulted in General Motors, Ford, Toyota and Chrysler spending up to $5 billion on inflated parts and driving up prices on 25 million vehicles has sent the DoJ hustling into investigations. "The conduct this investigation uncovered involved more than a dozen separate conspiracies aimed at the U.S. economy," Attorney General Eric Holder (pictured above) said during yesterday's press conference.
As the investigation stands, the DoJ has issued $1.6 billion in fines against 20 companies and 21 individual executives, with 17 of the execs headed to prison. Deputy Assistant Attorney General Scott Hammond said, "The breadth of the conspiracies brought to light today are as egregious as they are pervasive. They involve more than a dozen separate conspiracies operating independently but all sharing in common that they targeted US automotive manufacturers."
Big-name suppliers indicted in the investigation include Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Hitachi Automotive and Mitsuba Corporation. A list of fines and other corporations named in the investigation is available at Bloomberg.
