White 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser Fj 62 Good Condition on 2040-cars
Richmond, Virginia, United States
This is a good condition 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ 62 4x4. The mileage on the car is 220,600, but the engine was replaced so the engine has about 120,600. The mileage on the engine is very low for a truck this old. There is very little rust, and the pictures show any areas that have rust. The air blows hot and cold. There is a radio that has a CD player and AUX plug that can be used with iPods/iPhones. The tires are in good condition and the 4WD works well. You just have to lock the hub caps to initiate 4WD. I go to school 6 hours away, so I needed another car or I would not be selling the truck. These cars are collector's items and are difficult to find with this mileage and condition. Please feel free to email me with questions. I do have more pictures of the truck if you would like to see them. Serious inquiries only please.

Toyota takes i-Road tests to the streets of Tokyo
Fri, Mar 21 2014OK, here's where we think those road tests will start to get a little scary. Those super-narrow all-electric three-wheeled Toyota i-Road vehicles may have looked great sashaying through the towns of the French Riviera. But now? They're being tested in Tokyo. Hoo boy. The Japanese automaker says it'll start testing the i-Roads in the country's largest city on March 24 and will do so through early June. And while there will be some industry experts among the 20 participants, there will also be some regular folks who we hope won't find out the hard way how well those 660-pound, one-yard-wide vehicles perform in crash tests. In the meantime, we'll cross our fingers. The cool thing is that the i-Road now comes in five colors: blue, green, white, yellow and what looks like a magenta-fuchsia-type hue. Earlier this month, Toyota said it started testing the vehicles in Toyota City, Japan, as part of a broader program called "Ha:mo" where people link shared vehicles with public transportation systems (it stands for "Harmonious Mobility Network"). The three-wheeler was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show early last year before getting the star treatment in a French Riviera-locale video. Check out Toyota's press release below and read our impressions of driving the i-Road here.
Toyota fills in details about its future design direction and global platform
Fri, 25 Oct 2013
"In the future, out of 100 customers, we want to excite ten of them instead of not offending all 100."
Almost all of the details about the Toyota New Group Architecture (TNGA) strategy have come out since the initiative was first reported on in March of this year, but Autoblog did learn a few new things about it on a recent trip to Japan. Probably the second-most important detail is that each new segment platform will be based around a common hip point to create an "optimal driving position architecture."
