I am selling my entire project FJ-40. The yellow one runs good the tan one never ran since I've had it and the black one used to run. I simply do not have time to finish the project. Im not giving it away but I am letting it go for a good price. I hope whoever wins it will have as much joy in rebuilding this piece of history. I have an enormous amount of parts that go with these vehicles. The yellow one had started to be turned into a rock crawler but has not been too far customized to bring back to stock. The only major modification is the leaf springs were spun around as to gain a longer axel to axel distance but can be spun back to stock fairly easily. The tan one, although it has been attacked very badly with rust offers many goo interior parts and engine parts. Also you can get measurements if you want to try an fabricate a new tub for the yellow one. The black on is a 1970 and is missing the most parts but it is a titled vehicle same as the yellow one the tan one is no longer titled parts only. The black one has a rear disc brake conversion kit on it. All three have motors, transmissions, axels, and drive shafts. I have an extra differential and two extra windshield frames. I also have an extra full hard top with glass and ambulance rear doors. Like I said with these three vehicles some time and tlc you could have a very nice stock FJ-40.

Toyota restructuring US operations, possibly moving to Texas
Sun, 27 Apr 2014According to multiple sources familiar with the matter, Toyota is poised to announce Monday that it is restructuring its US operations, which may include plans to relocate some of its operations to Texas. Toyota Motor Sales has been located in California since 1957, and is responsible for North American sales, marketing, and distribution for Toyota, Lexus and Scion. According to Toyota literature, its Torrance operations presently employs 6,156 workers and represents a $2.3-billion investment.
Workers in Toyota's Torrance offices were abuzz about the possible relocation to Texas. One young offspring of a Toyota employee even posted to Twitter that her parents warned about the upcoming move, and she said she's refusing to go.
Rumors at one point had Toyota settling in Richardson, TX, just outside Plano. But Autoblog talked to Richardson Mayor Laura Maczka, who said she would be thrilled if that were true, but has not heard anything on the subject. Autoblog also emailed with Bill Sutherland, a city councilman in Torrance, CA, who said, "To date the only info I have is what I have read in the paper expecting a press release Monday."
Toyota recalling 1.67 million vehicles worldwide in 3 campaigns
Wed, 15 Oct 2014Toyota is issuing three separate recalls covering 1.67 million vehicles worldwide with most of those models in Japan. It looks like the campaigns' impact on the US may be smaller, though. According to Reuters, Toyota isn't aware of any accidents, injuries or fatalities affecting the models. Some yet-unnamed Lexus models might also be affected.
The largest of the campaigns does not currently affect any US-market vehicles. About 802,000 units of the Toyota Crown Majesta, Crown, Noah and Voxy in Japan are being repaired to replace a seal that could leak in the brake master cylinder. Those already leaking get a new brake booster, as well, according to Reuters.
The only recall currently believed to affect the US is due to a problem covering approximately 759,000 vehicles with 423,000 of them here. The repair is to fix a faulty fuel delivery pipe that could cause a fire if the fuel leaks out. Unfortunately, we don't know which models it covers. Autoblog spoke to Toyota spokesperson Mona Richard and was told the information was still "under embargo." When exactly that embargo will lift isn't yet known, but we're on the case.
