Up for sale is a 94 toyota Land Cruiser. Mileage is 211,600 miles. Has a clean CA title, current smog and is currently registered. Has had only one previous owner since new and has been in CA its whole life. There is zero rust on this Land Cruiser. This model has leather seats, 3rd row seating, moon roof and all power features. All power features work well, A/C is ice cold and heater is hot. Runs and drives excellent. 4x4 is in very nice working condition. Body is very nice with again no rust. Has a brand new paint job. It is not show quality but looks great. Interior is clean and well kept with normal wear and tear. Suspension is very solid and in great shape. Has one small dent in rear tailgate, passenger power seat has difficulty sliding back and forth. Tires have excellent tread but are weather checked. (Michelin's). Truck stops and brakes great but would recommend rear brakes in the near future. I have included alot of big quality pictures and they show the condition of the truck well. I would not hesitate to get in and drive this truck anywhere. These are awesome, strong and reliable trucks and this one is no exception. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Toyota restructuring US operations, possibly moving to Texas

Sun, 27 Apr 2014

According to multiple sources familiar with the matter, Toyota is poised to announce Monday that it is restructuring its US operations, which may include plans to relocate some of its operations to Texas. Toyota Motor Sales has been located in California since 1957, and is responsible for North American sales, marketing, and distribution for Toyota, Lexus and Scion. According to Toyota literature, its Torrance operations presently employs 6,156 workers and represents a $2.3-billion investment.
Workers in Toyota's Torrance offices were abuzz about the possible relocation to Texas. One young offspring of a Toyota employee even posted to Twitter that her parents warned about the upcoming move, and she said she's refusing to go.
Rumors at one point had Toyota settling in Richardson, TX, just outside Plano. But Autoblog talked to Richardson Mayor Laura Maczka, who said she would be thrilled if that were true, but has not heard anything on the subject. Autoblog also emailed with Bill Sutherland, a city councilman in Torrance, CA, who said, "To date the only info I have is what I have read in the paper expecting a press release Monday."

Ford Fiesta ST in startling track battle against Toyota GT86

Wed, 26 Jun 2013

On the surface, there's very little that the Ford Fiesta ST and Toyota GT86 (or the Scion FR-S that is sold in the US, or the largely similar Subaru BRZ) share in common. One is a hatchback with power coming from a turbocharged engine routed to the front wheels. The other is a coupe with power coming from a naturally aspirated four-cylinder boxer engine routed to the rear wheels.
Thing is, both of them are reasonably priced performance cars aimed at a similar segment of the automotive marketplace, so a comparison isn't out of the question. It is with all of this in mind that we direct you to the video below, in which the blokes from Evo pit the two manic little machines against one another on a race track. The result? Well, it can be summed up this way: Fast versus fun.
See how the track battle goes down in the video below.
