1994 Toyota Land Cruiser

185,000 Miles, Completely Stock except for sound system.

$3200 buy it now is a very fair and reasonable price for this vehicle.  We are open to all offers.  Offers will only be accepted with a $200 deposit.

You have the chance to own a low mileage 1994 Toyota Land Cruiser FZj80.  These trucks are built like tanks and are becoming harder and harder to find. This truck is pretty solid, just needs a little tlc.

Exterior:

The outside of the Land Cruiser is solid overall.  , No signs of a previous accident, and no rust.  It does have several scrapes, scratches, bumps, and bruises, but as you can see overall nothing major.  The paint on the hood and roof is faded.  The left rear marker light lens is fractured.  The passenger's headlight is fractured, but has been reinforced with a clear epoxcy.  It doesn't look bad at all, and is not that noticble.  Overall the truck is in very decent shape for a 20 year old truck.  Appears to not have been off roaded or abuised. Absolutely no rust anywhere.  Looks good overall.

Interior:

Inside of the Land Cruiser is in good shape and very intact for it's age.  The only issue that really stands out is the front driver's seat, is ripped.  Other than that everthing looks pretty good.  It has a new cd player and 4 new "Polk Audio" door speakers that have been installed professionally.  Everything appears to work.  The AC comes on and off.  The compressor is not locked up.  Heat Works.

Mechanical:

It runs and drives fine and is mechanically sound.  The engine doesn't smoke, tick, or run hot.  It does have a small oil leak that appears to be coming from the valve cover gasket. .  It's nothing major and doesn't leave a stain in the driveway.  It runs very quiet and very strong.    Transmission shifts as it should  and the 4 wheel drive works properly. Only issue is that the brakes are very soft. They go all the way down to the floor. They appear to need a good bleeding.  The emergency brake works great. The tires have about 40% tread left.

This car is not brand new, so please don't expect it to be.  However overall for it's age it's in great shape.  Please ask any questions you may have.  $200 deposit is due within 24 hours and remaining balance is due within 72 hours unless other arrangements are made before bidding.  No exceptions!  Thanks.

You are buying this truck from a licensed dealer.  You will have to pay an aditional  $150 DOC fee, unless you're a licensed dealer.  No exceptions!  TN residents will also have to pay  9% sales tax.  You will also be provided with a 30 day temporary tag.

2015 Toyota Yaris to start at $14,845* and look like this

Thu, 24 Jul 2014

Toyota released a new Yaris in Europe and its Vitz clone in Japan a few months ago, so we knew it would only be a matter of time before it would launch the new hatchback here in North America. And that time has come.
The new, more distinctive 2015 Yaris features far more aggressive exterior styling, a look set apart by that large lower air dam and X-motif front end. It rides on a retuned suspension hooked up to an altogether more rigid chassis, and Toyota promises it will ride more quietly and comfortably than the model it replaces. Inside the new model has additional soft-touch materials in a more comfortable cabin equipped with everything from a 6.1-inch touchscreen display to nine airbags.
The 2015 Yaris comes in both three- and five-door bodystyles, and three trim levels that seek to eliminate the need for options packages. In fact the only option to speak of is a dealer-installed nav system. Power comes from a modest 1.5-liter four with variable valve timing, dual overhead cams and sixteen valves, sending 106 horsepower and 103 pound-feet of torque through either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic.

Average transaction prices climb to a record $36,270 in January

Sat, Feb 3 2018

The automotive sector made a hash of the numbers last month, a mess of pluses and minuses clogging the transaction-price charts according to Kelley Blue Book. The overall industry rose one percent, even though buyers bought fewer cars and light vehicles in January 2018 vs 2017 using the selling-day adjusted rate. Due to January transaction prices rising to $36,270, a record for January, the value of new vehicles sold climbed more than $1 billion compared to January 2017. KBB's transaction prices don't include customer incentives, which changes the complexion slightly; average incentive spending rose to just over ten percent. The average transaction price in December 2017 was $36,756, so January dropped a bit - nothing unexpected, with the month annually blamed for "January doldrums." More revealing is the fact that the average transaction price in January 2017 was $34,910. This year's plumped-up figure came courtesy of the continued shift to crossovers, SUVs, and light trucks, which shouldn't surprise anyone who's read an automotive blog in the past 20 years. That category comprised nearly 70 percent of new vehicle sales for the month. Some manufacturers profited more than others, though. Fiat Chrysler managed 12.8 percent fewer sales in January compared year-on-year, but the company's vehicles sold for $1,300 more. The Ford brand suffered a 6.3-percent dip in sales, but brand transaction prices increased $2,000, while a Lincoln sold for $8,700 more on average. General Motors sold more cars and sold them for more money; overall GM transaction prices rose four percent, or $1,270, while a GMC traded hands for seven-percent more than in January 2017 and a Cadillac got $2,300 more on average. Of KBB's listed automakers, the Volkswagen Group got the most of out its customers, transaction prices rising at the German automaker by 5.6 percent to $42,243 in January 2018 compared to a year earlier. American Honda followed with a 4.3-percent increase to $28,991, GM in third at 4.1 percent to $40,313. Find your next car at Autoblog using our new and used car listings or the Car Finder tool. Broken out by segment, minivans rocked the table, transaction prices leaping by 7.9 percent to $35,380 compared to January a year earlier. Luxury cars boasted the next-highest rise, at 3.6 percent to $58,533.

2014 Toyota Corolla priced from $16,800*

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

We'll be publishing our First Drive of the 2014 Toyota Corolla later today, but right now, we can reveal that the eleventh-generation compact will be priced from $16,800 when it hits dealerships this fall (*not including a $810 destination charge).
Four trim levels will be offered, and that sub-$17,000 price point reflects the base L grade with a six-speed manual transmission. Adding the four-speed automatic (yep) brings that price up to $17,400, which gets you the usual features standard on this class of car, including Bluetooth connectivity, eight airbags and - a first for this price point - LED headlamps.
From there, the LE trim ($18,300) adds a backup camera, cruise control, keyless entry, Entune audio (including a 6.1-inch touchscreen) and a brand-new continuously variable transmission replacing the four-speed auto. There's even an Eco version of the LE trim that uses a different engine tune to provide fuel economy of up to 42 miles per gallon on the highway.
