Clean 1989 Toyota Landcruiser FJ62, 2nd owner, 242,000 miles, oil changes every 3k, New Paint, original Arctic White, New Transmission at 236,000!!, Brand new Dakota AT tires less than 300 miles on them. AC service and flush just done, really cold AC, Clean interior, ABSOLUTELY NO RUST on body. Nice clean interior. New Battery and terminals. I love this truck, but hardly ever drive it, so it has to go to a new home. No oil or fluid leaks, runs great, passed smog, Here is what it needs....there is a spackling of rust on the front chrome bumper, the drivers side window does not work, and is stuck halfway, the window controller needs to be replaced...The radio/CD player works great, but antenna will not go up and down and is broken at base. There is a rubber strip missing from drivers side window... the front driver side light was broken off during painting, needs replacement, Has one crack in dash, I have the cover...Racks included for $500.00 extra. 4wd works, all gauges and controls work, this is one clean truck and a classic....Am selling it for less than I have into it, have all of the receipts, add it up and you will see.

Audi investing $30.3 billion through 2018 for product expansion
Sun, 29 Dec 2013How does Audi plan to reach two million units in annual sales and pay for the 11 new models it's adding to its lineup - an expansion that may include models named SQ2, Q9 and F-Tron? By increasing its investment to 22 billion euros ($30.3 billion US) between now and 2018. That figure represents an increase of about 500 million euros over the previously planned outlay, according to a report by Automotive News, and that could be due to Audi wishing to goad the momentum that pushed it to 1.5 million annual sales two years ahead of schedule.
It's also about staving off the challenges from BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Now that BMW has been able to turn some of its attention away from its "i" series of Megacity cars, it will reportedly spend more than planned in 2014 as it continues the rollout of ten all-new vehicles and 15 new-generation vehicles through the end of next year. Mercedes, having been dropped to third in the sales race, is preparing to add 13 new cars over the next six years.
Audi's money is going into technology, into product like the next-generation TT and the Q1 and production expansions and upgrades all over the world. The expenditure represents just under a fourth of Volkswagen's 84.2 billion-euro ($115.7 US) outlay devoted to taking the number-one global automaker title away from General Motors and Toyota by 2018.
NHTSA investigating 561k Toyota Prius hybrids for possible steering shaft defect
Mon, 25 Feb 2013The Detroit News is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will investigate some 561,000 Toyota Prius models for potentially defective steering shafts. The affected hybrid models are from the 2004-2009 model years. The story indicates that NHTSA is weighing whether or not to grant a defect petition, which claims that Toyota incorrectly assembled the hatchback's steering linkage.
As of this writing, there is no recall. However, a recall based on the Prius steering shaft would be the third related to steering issues for the model since 2006. Seven years ago, Toyota recalled 170K Prius models for potential cracking of the intermediate shafts, and in November of 2012, the automaker recalled 670K units to replace the steering shaft extension assembly.
We'll be monitoring NHTSA's signals to see if this investigation turns into a full-fledged recall. For now, stay tuned.
