Ebay does not recognize Europeans vins so the real vin is JT1V0LJ7009000150.This Toyota LJ70 will be sold with clean and clear florida title.Import from Europe, left hand drive. Can be seen in sunny st pete florida.UNLIKE some other sellers here on Ebay,ALL my vehicles are sold WITH a clean and clear Florida title,NOT with a promise from a seller somewhere overseas in another country since I know for a fact, there are a few Toyotas on ebay that will NOT pass USA customs and WILL be seized and destroyed and your money is gone also, some where overseas.IF things sounds too good to be true,it probably is :-).I also don't let friends or family bid on my stuff to pump the prices up.If I relist, its just because it didn't meet reserve and no one contacted me later.I see a lot of imports do crazy prices and get sold and then being relisted a week later :-).I also see Toyotas here on Ebay, coming from the same sources as where I find mine, and I passed on them since they where to crappy, and are being sold here by others and being described as nice vehicles, thats easy from overseas,no recourse. But they where cheap,or not :-)Be careful, its a jungle out there :-) ,grass is always greener on the other side, make sure you check my 15 years on ebay and my perfect feedback with never a negative, thank you. Pauls G-Spot,gelandewagens and other cool diesel imports offers: A cool 1986 landcruiser hardtop with only 100000 miles ( 166000km) on the odometer. Its a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder non turbo with powersteering and 5 speed manual,no ac.Good tires. No frills,no power options,no radio,a basic 4x4 that will get the job done and get great mileage.Im selling it as a driver but looks at lot better then that in combination with a very clean interior. It was repainted and has a lot of life left in it,it really still drives and runs and shifts like new and looks good also :-).Its a pleasure to drive and not having to worry about anything.I also have a BJ73 FRP top 1986 turbodiesel,5 speed,no ac,no powersteering in stock.Vehicles im expecting:1985 Mitsubishi Montero 4 door turbodiesel LHD, 1986 Toyota LJ70 lifted,snorkel,2.4 TD LHD,1989 Toyota lite ace mini van,ac,auto,powersteering,4x4 turbodiesel RHD,1986 Toyota surf SR5 convertible,5 speed manual,powersteering,turbodiesel,ac,RHD,1979 BJ40 hardtop diesel LHD red,1983 BJ 40 convertible diesel LHD black. 1987 Toyota hilux diesel crew double cab 4 door diesel LHD.1985 Toyota pickup with winch,yellow,3.4 liter diesel,5 speed manual,LHD , powersteering.1987 Toyota troopy panel wagon,white,3.4 diesel ,powersteering 5 speed manual.etc,etc.and lotsa german and French stuff:-) Although my plan was to stick to stricktly LHD vehicles ive decided to also go with RHD vehicles since I had no clue but there is a lot of people that like them, not me though :-)but its not important what I like, its important what the customer likes, and they like RHD :-). I have a website, its outdated,by the time i have it updated, the vehicles are sold, you can find all my stuff on Tampa Craigs and ebay. My brother buys the vehicles for me in Westeren Europe,he is a active police officer/border patrol agent who works for me in his free time so I don't have to worry when I need to send money overseas :-) or that I get lemons or basket cases :-).My retired sister does the buying for me of the vehicles I buy in Spain and France, since she lives there and speak the languages and again no worries that my money is gone when i send it overseas:-)I do not assist with buying and shipping overseas vehicles to usa for third parties, neither do I assist with the import part and paperwork of it.But yes,i will assist finding the right truck for you for a great price.Just add me as a favorite seller and you will be notified when I list new vehicles on ebay.Ebay is just a marketing site for me,just like the aut0trader so I run adds all the time and relist all the time.I always have several European and asian imports in stock like diesel vans, diesel rvs, landrovers and G wagons and what ever rare diesel I can get like unimogs, man,vw lt,and Japanese left hand drive diesel 4x4s.NOW also RHD vehicles. These vehicles run easily 30 to 35 miles the gallon.Or convert it to veggie oil and drive around for 75 cents the gallon. |

Lexus tops JD Power Vehicle Dependability Study again, Buick bests Toyota
Wed, Feb 25 2015It shouldn't surprise anyone, but Lexus has once again taken the top spot in JD Power's Vehicle Dependability Study. That'd be the Japanese luxury brand's fourth straight year at the top of table. The big news, though, is the rise of Buick. General Motor's near-premium brand beat out Toyota to take second place, with 110 problems per 100 vehicles compared to Toyota's 111 problems. Lexus owners only reported 89 problems per 100 vehicles. Besides Buick's three-position jump, Scion enjoyed a major improvement, jumping 13 positions from 2014. Ram and Mitsubishi made big gains, as well, moving up 11 and 10 positions, respectively. In terms of individual segments, GM and Toyota both excelled, taking home seven segment awards each. The study wasn't good news for all involved, though. A number of popular automakers finished below the industry average of 147 problems per 100 vehicles, including Subaru, (157PP100), Volkswagen (165PP100), Ford/Hyundai (188PP100 each) and Mini (193PP100). The biggest losers (by a tremendous margin, we might add) were Land Rover and Fiat, recording 258 and 273 problems per 100 vehicles. The next closest brand was Jeep, with 197PP100. While the Vehicle Dependability Study uses the same measurement system as the Initial Quality Survey, the two metrics analyze very different things. The VDS looks at problems experienced by original owners of model year 2012 vehicles over the past 12 months, while the oft-quoted IQS focuses on problems in the first 90 days of new-vehicle ownership. Like the IQS, though, the VDS has a rather broad definition of what a problem is. Because of that, a low score from JD Power is no guarantee of extreme unreliability, so much as just poor design. In this most recent study, the two most reported problems focused on Bluetooth connectivity and the voice-command systems. The former leaves plenty of room for user error due to poor design (particularly true of the Bluetooth systems on the low-scoring Fords, Volkswagens and Subarus), while the second is something JD Power has already confirmed as being universally terrible. That makes means that while these studies are important, they shouldn't be taken as gospel when it comes to automotive reliability. Poor headlights cause 40 cars to miss IIHS Top Safety Pick rating
Mon, Aug 6 2018Over the past few months, we've noticed a number of cars and SUVs that have come incredibly close to earning one of the IIHS's highest accolades, the Top Safety Pick rating. They have great crash test scores and solid automatic emergency braking and forward collision warning systems. What trips them up is headlights. That got us wondering, how many vehicles are there that are coming up short because they don't have headlights that meet the organization's criteria for an "Acceptable" or "Good" rating. This is a revision made after 2017, a year in which headlights weren't factored in for this specific award. This is also why why some vehicles, such as the Ford F-150, might have had the award last year, but have lost it for this year. We reached out to someone at IIHS to find out. He responded with the following car models. Depending on how you count, a whopping 40 models crash well enough to receive the rating, but don't get it because their headlights are either "Poor" or "Marginal." We say depending on how you count because the IIHS actual counts truck body styles differently, and the Infiniti Q70 is a special case. Apparently the version of the Q70 that has good headlights doesn't have adequate forward collision prevention technology. And the one that has good forward collision tech doesn't have good enough headlights. We've provided the entire list of vehicles below in alphabetical order. Interestingly, it seems the Volkswagen Group is having the most difficulty providing good headlights with its otherwise safe cars. It had the most models on the list at 9 split between Audi and Volkswagen. GM is next in line with 7 models. It is worth noting again that though these vehicles have subpar headlights and don't quite earn Top Safety Pick awards, that doesn't mean they're unsafe. They all score well enough in crash testing and forward collision prevention that they would get the coveted award if the lights were better.
