1985 Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4 on 2040-cars
Hood River, Oregon, United States
I am selling my 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4. It has a smooth running 2F engine with a 4 speed manual transmission. The clutch is tight, and it shifts great. It has aftermarket front disk brakes, and front and rear bumpers. It also has a 2" lift. Interior is in good shape except for a tear in the drivers seat and cracked dash (dash cover included). I have front seat covers in it, and it has a full set of rubber floor mats. It has a newer Alpine stereo. The exterior is in decent shape, as can be expected it has scratches, and the paint isn't great, although it looks decent from a few feet away. Only body damage is a dent in each rear fender behind the wheels. I have attached a picture.
Sitting on a set of Toyo open countries with about 30% tread, and it has a spare under the trunk. Just recently I have replaced the vacuum lines, and spark plugs. I have a whole box of new parts for it as well as some fluids and Chiltons service manual. Probably about 5K ago the valves were adjusted with new valve cover gasket, all new gear oil, thermostat, belts and radiator hoses. It has over 278K on it, but the engine is newer. I do not know how many miles it has, but I think it is somewhere around half of that. I also have a roof rack, and custom 3rd row bench seat for it that I can throw in if you want them. |

Toyota Me.We concept is a multifunction Tupperware car [w/video]
Wed, 24 Apr 2013Not to be outdone by the Renault Twin'Z concept penned by Welsh designer Ross Lovegrove, Toyota has partnered up with French designer Jean-Marie Massaud to create the 2013 Toyota Me.We Concept. Unveiled at Le Rendez-vous Toyota in Paris, the Me.We Concept is an attempt to imagine a car that can be appreciated by owners across a wide variety of lifestyles while being courteous to the environment, too.
From a "Me" perspective, the concept is highly customizable with removable body panels, and even though it might look like just a small hatchback from the outside, Toyota claims it can also be used as a pickup (with an extendable rear panel), a convertible (with a neoprene roof panel) and even an off-road vehicle. As for the "We" part of the car, it's a fully electric vehicle with individual in-wheel motors and a battery pack mounted under the load floor. The concept has a weight of around 1,600 pounds kept low thanks to an aluminum chassis, but it also features renewable bamboo wood for the floor in addition to the fully recyclable polypropylene exterior body panels. Toyota previews new C-HR crossover concept bound for Paris
Mon, 15 Sep 2014We're now just a few weeks away from the start of the Paris Motor Show, and when the doors open at the Porte de Versailles, Toyota will be among the many automakers with new wares to show - including the new concept car pictured in this latest teaser image.
Called the C-HR, the concept is designed to represent an "innovative vision for a compact crossover model", incorporating "a new design language with an engaging driving experience and a hybrid powertrain." The Japanese industrial giant isn't saying much else, but the C-HR is set to debut alongside the finalized exterior design for its upcoming new fuel cell sedan.
Toyota, of course, became a pioneer in the compact crossover segment when it introduced the first-generation RAV4 way back in 1994. If the silhouette is anything to go by, however, the C-HR concept appears to adopt a far more streamlined form. Watch this space for more.
