This is a FJ40 Landcruiser for sale.  What you see is what you get almost complete except the engine (which I have for it but you will have to pick it up).  The Fj40 isn't in great shape but you get a base frame, power steering modified), transfer case (4spd), and title.   You don't get the dash pad black pad on the inside of the cab its removed and ac unit shown in the pictures that's why I bought it.  Comes with a title and everything else you see in the pictures.  I pushed it into its current location and the one back wheel is locked up (brake), just a fyi,  I basically bought this for parts and after I did I realized nothing is compatible for the most part with my 77.  You are getting a good starter for a restore.  As you know the bodies on this FJ40s are usually junk when you find them.   The top has the tilt windows etc.   Inside door panels are nice and have all the gages as you can see on the dash.   Like I said what you see is what you get and YES you 100% get a clear title (PA) with this its signed over to me and I will do the transfer to you.   Odometer is reading 90000 some miles, this was converted to a 8 cycle gm motor before I got it.   I want this to go to someone who can use it .   Its as is where is, I can deliver for a price but ask first.  Seats have no rips in the front as you can see I am not sure if there original, there is no jump seats in this.

The steering column is not a Toyota looks to be a olds modified in there for the power steering.   The rubber mat show in the interior picture is in another auction on ebay since I was asked to list it separate its not included in this auction... To clarify the bumper dash pad and the ac DO NOT come with this but are show in the pictures since I haven't removed them yet.

Toyota to end Australian production by 2017

Mon, 10 Feb 2014

There is more bad news for the Australian auto industry today, as Toyota has just announced that it will follow General Motors and Ford in shuttering its manufacturing operations on the continent. Production and assembly will cease by the end of 2017, but Toyota will remain in Australia as a sales and distribution company.
"We did everything that we could to transform our business, but the reality is that there are too many factors beyond our control that make it unviable to build cars in Australia," said Toyota Australia President and CEO Max Yasuda.
In an official statement, Yasuda said that the closure would directly affect 2,500 manufacturing employees and an unknown number of corporate workers. However, a report in the Australian newspaper The Age suggests that the jobs of 24,000 workers at Australian auto suppliers could also be in jeopardy. Toyota currently builds its Camry, Camry Hybrid, Aurion sedans in Australia, along with four-cylinder engines, and it plans to begin importing the Camry and Aurion after production stops.

Toyota, Honda, Mazda and Nissan recall 3.4 million vehicles for faulty airbags

Thu, 11 Apr 2013

Most vehicle recalls that take place these days are a result of some problem that happens during the manufacturing process by the automaker, but as we see here, parts suppliers can also factor in to problematic safety issues. Automotive News is reporting that a total of 3.4 million vehicles produced by Japanese automakers between 2000 and 2004 are being recalled globally due to faulty airbags produced by an outside supplier, Takata Corp.
According to the report, vehicles from Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Mazda are being recalled because of passenger front airbags that do not inflate properly. Globally, Toyota is said to be recalling around 1.73 million cars including 510,000 in the US composed of Toyota Corolla, Matrix, Sequoia and Tundra as well as the Lexus SC430 for the 2001 through 2003 model years; this is the second time this year the 2003 Corolla and Matrix have been recalled for an airbag problem. Honda is recalling 1.14 million models, Nissan another 480,000 and Mazda 45,463. The article says that Takata supplied faulty airbags to non-Japanese automakers, but it did not specify which ones.
Honda and Toyota have released information on their own websites about the recall, while Nissan and Mazda have not yet commented. Read official press releases from Honda and Toyota, below, and look for updates as we have word from the others.
