This Okie rig is ready to roll in-town style OR crawling the backwoods.  It's got a sweet brown diamond plate bedonkadonk, drop gate rear entry, wicked blue pinstriping and some choice cammo pattern-see those photos.

And topless is the word of the day!
But, if the weather ain't to your liking, put up the soft top at a moments notice-it's engineered for easy access.

This ride has been outfitted with a powersteering unit, a V-8 conversion with the venerable Chevy 350, an Edelbrock intake and enough carburetor throat to pump out some ponies. Additionally, a Pro Comp Wrangler drop pitman arm and Painless 12 circuit wiring harness were installed. Last service includes new brakes and rotor/drum turning, wheel bearing repacking, and installation of new oil and temperature sending units.  The instrument cluster mileage corresponds to the engine conversion-before that, I don't know.

On the inside, another cammo motif cradles your posterior while you tune in some music from the JVC detachable face CD player contained within the Tuffy Locking Center Console. Keep an eye on your peak power curves for torque or horsepower with the oversize Tachometer just right of the instrument cluster.

Make no mistake, mere pedestrians will turn the color of an avocado when you roll by. If they don't, give 'em a hollah using your Royce CB radio with PA capabilities.

This vehicle is for sale locally, therefore Seller makes no guarantee of availability.
Feel free to make an offer on this rust-free vehicle.

Toyota's 'Easy Speak' Gives Parents A Voice In Backseats

Mon, Jul 21 2014

Parents often wish they could be in two places at once. A feature from Toyota now gives them the next best thing: The ability to yell at their children from a distance. The feature, known as Easy Speak, was introduced in the 2014 Highlander and can now be had in Toyota's Sienna minivan. It allows drivers to use a microphone to communicate with passengers via the car's speakers, all while keeping their eyes on the road. This can come in handy when your brood starts their territorial shoving matches. There's also an optional two way conversation mirror, which allows parents to keep check in on the action without having to turn their head around. These are welcome features. A three-week study from the Monash University Accident Research Centre in Melbourne, Australia showed that children – not telephones – are more likely to distract people while driving. Parents were distracted on 90 of 92 trips studied by the researchers, racking up an average of three minutes of distracted driving per 16 minute trip. Cell phones only made up one percent of that distracted drive time. Related Gallery Coolest minivans of all time Weird Car News Toyota Minivan/Van

2015 Toyota Sienna

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

It's hard to love a minivan, but it's very, very easy to use one. More than any other kind of vehicle - save a panel van, perhaps - the minivan is the most appliance-like of four-wheeled transportation devices. And most minivan buyers don't need to love their purchases; they just need to use them. So when it comes to a minivan's driving dynamics, who cares?
Well, we do. So we perked right up when Toyota talked about refinements it made to the 2015 Sienna, starting with some 142 added spot welds made to the body structure. Normally not stop-the-presses stuff, but Toyota says the added reinforcements prompted Sienna engineers to recalibrate the springs and shocks for improved handling, and our very limited wheel time along the (admittedly benign) roads on the Big Island of Hawaii revealed the 2015 Sienna SE model's handling to be tidier and more engaging than you'd expect for a porky, 4,560-pound, eight-passenger box on wheels.

Toyota unintended acceleration lawsuit settled for $16M

Mon, 08 Apr 2013

Slowly, the many loose threads still dangling after the unintended acceleration issue Toyota faced a few years ago are being resolved. The Orange County District Attorney's office was believed to be the first DA's office to take Toyota to court, its suit alleging that Toyota knew its cars had defects and continued to sell them. The suit sought to "permanently enjoin Toyota from continued unlawful, unfair, deceptive, and fraudulent business practices as it pertains to both consumers and competitors" and asked for $2,500 "for every violation of the Unfair Business Practices Act," plus costs.
That suit has now been settled, Toyota - without admitting fault or wrongdoing - agreeing to pay $16 million to the county. Half of the money will go to the Orange County Gang Reduction Intervention Partnership, another four million dollars to the OC DA's office to investigate economic crime, the remaining four million being used to pay for the case.
