1976 Fj40 Toyota Land Cruiser Base Sport Utility 2-door 4.2l on 2040-cars
Erie, Pennsylvania, United States
Have owned vehicle for approx. 20 years. Numerous upgrades. Sand blasted and painted about 3 years ago. Garage kept. Very mild off road use. Newer top, quarter panels[specially made with double thick steel[, fenders and drivers and passenger floors. Cruises easily at 60mph on highway. Used little in last two years. Some extra parts. Original window sticker and manual. Hate to part with it but not using it much anymore. Has one small bubble on the passenger rear quarter panel and a minor defect in the paint on the drivers side fender and leaks a small amount of oil Some very minor surface rust on rear bed. Doors in excellent condition. Oil change with Mobil1 and Lucas every 6mos/3000mi. All gauges work. Overall solid as a rock. Can be driven everyday without any problem.

First 2014 Toyota Corolla commercial dances through time
Sat, 07 Sep 2013Despite the fact that the Toyota Corolla pretty much sells itself, the eleventh-generation 2014 model is getting a huge marketing push that aims to appeal to both Millennials (of course), as well as the older generations that have lived with the stalwart Japanese compact for decades. The first television advertising spot, called, "Style Never Goes Out of Style," shows that the Corolla has had a place in mainstream culture since its launch in the 1960s. We have to admit, it's pretty cool to see older models from the '60s, '70s and '80s come out to play for this commercial, especially the latter of those, as it gives us enthusiasts fond memories of the infamous AE86.
The whole web/broadcast/print/social media marketing campaign surrounding the 2014 Corolla is called "Elevate," because, according to Toyota:
Extensive market research shows that Millennials are looking to take their career to the next level and are looking to buy their first 'real' car to get them there. The design of the all-new Corolla is significantly elevated from the previous generations, creating a more dynamic and desirable image for the Corolla nameplate that will appeal to these younger buyers.

Scion FR-S Convertible (in Toyota GT86 form) spied in South Africa
Fri, 15 Feb 2013Though the eventual existence of a convertible version of the Toyota GT86 (and its Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ versions for America) is a no-brainer, we've yet to get a glimpse of the real-deal car until now.
Spotted in Cape Town, South Africa, of all places, this completely undisguised GT86 convertible seems to be in a remarkably advanced state of development. The image seen here was obviously sniped from quite a distance and without the aid of a powerful lens, but we can still make out a production-ready looking piece of rear bodywork for the convertible top to hide away in, as well as a functioning trunk lid. It's hard to make out with any certainty, based on this evidence, but there does seem to be space retained behind the front seats for two, small rear chairs.
With the first car spotted, we'd expect to seem some more and better images of it flow through in the near future, and if not, Toyota has already confirmed a concept version for next month's Geneva Motor Show, dubbed FT-86 Open, so stay tuned. For now, click through to the FT86Club.com forum to have a slightly closer look at the images.
