Please note that the mileage is in KILOMETERS - 123207km = 76557 MILES

Only 123000 km, 3.5l v6 engine, automatic transmission with manual mode, 4X4, fully equipped (electronic doors, windows, cruise control, back-up camera, mp3 radio, etc) Has good Michelin winter tires on aluminium mag wheels, also has a summer tire set but without wheels, only the tires. The oil has just been changed and everything is very good condition on the car. Has just had a mechanical inspection from the SAAQ (transport authority in Quebec, Canada) because it was previously registered out of province in Ontario.

The car is in excellent mechanical shape, it has been rustproofed all of its life as you can see there is rustproofing in the engine compartment. There is a small scratch possibly from keys on the driver side rear door and rear quarter, not very apparent but it's there as you can see in the pictures.

The light for the tire pressure indicator is ON in the dashboard, my guess is it's because the tires were inflated with air and the humidity froze with the cold, giving a bad reading to the sensor. Otherwise the tires do hold their pressure just fine.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to e-mail me, and take note that the car is for sale locally, so if I get what I'm asking for it, I will end the auction (if the reserve price is not met)

The car can be shipped worldwide after clearance of payment.

It's very clean car, don't miss your chance! You can call me directly if you have any questions at 1-514-654-4332

NHTSA opens safety investigations into Toyota, GM and Honda crossovers

Fri, 08 Jun 2012

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is evidently keeping itself very busy these days, as the federal agency has just announced it is launching or renewing investigations into Toyota, Honda and General Motors crossovers.
2006-2008 model year Toyota RAV4 crossovers are under review for allegations of rear tie-rod rust which can result in failure. NHTSA also said it is probing some 35 complaints about 2005 Honda Pilot models with inappropriate activation of the vehicles' stability control system. The alleged malfunction can cause the vehicles to slow down or stop in bad unsafe situations. At the moment, NHTSA is reviewing a petition regarding the Pilot issue, a move that will determine whether it needs to open a full-blown investigation.
In addition, Saturn Outlook and GMC Acadia three-row crossovers built in 2007-2009 are getting looked at for "loss of low beam headlamp" function. One complainant said the wiring in his Outlook overheated and melted. NHTSA says it has received 415 complaints about the problem and a GM spokesman confirmed that the automaker already started a "Customer Satisfaction Program" in December to address the issue.

Toyota celebrates 30th anniversary of Land Cruiser 70 with Japan rerelease [w/videos]

Tue, 26 Aug 2014

It's a common refrain among auto enthusiasts to bemoan the current models being sold for being overly complex and expensive and to wish that automakers would just make vehicles like the old days. Sure, they might not have been as safe or efficient, but there was often a certain rugged simplicity that's gone today. Well, Toyota is actually doing it and thinks there's enough demand to put the Land Cruiser 70 back into production in Japan for its 30th anniversary. Sadly, it's only for one year.
The original Land Cruiser 70 served a long life in Japan from 1984 to 2004. Even today, the proven model remains in production in some regions abroad. People in its home country still love the vehicle though, and Toyota is brushing off the mothballs to give customers what they want. For the first time ever there, it's also offering the double-cab pickup version in addition to the traditional enclosed body. The company thinks that it can move about 200 of these classic trucks this year, which isn't too shabby for a vehicle that's three decades old.
Looking at the pictures above, these look like the same old Land Cruisers, but Toyota is updating them slightly to meet modern safety rules. The grille, hood and headlights are all tweaked, and they now come with airbags and anti-lock brakes. A 4.0-liter V6 is under the hood making 228 horsepower (170 kilowatts) and 266 lb-ft of torque (360 Newton-meters), and the only available gearbox is a five-speed manual. Part-time four-wheel drive is standard. If you're really afraid of getting stuck in the wilderness, locking front and rear differentials and a winch are available as options.

Toyota begins shipping Le Yaris to America

Fri, 17 May 2013

Our tiniest Toyota (Scion iQ notwithstanding) is about to get a little French flair. The Japanese automaker announced Thursday that its Toyota Motor Manufacturing France facility would begin building Yaris models destined for North America - specifically, the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. This will mark the first time in history that Toyota has exported vehicles to North America from Europe.
Initially, Toyota will export roughly 25,000 Yaris models to North American markets from France each year. In order to handle this additional production, Toyota Motor Manufacturing France has invested 10 million euro into its French facility.
Despite being somewhat of a snooze-fest (it's a car!), the Yaris carries on in North America with a 106-horsepower 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, with prices starting at $14,370 for the three-door and $15,395 for the five-door, not including $795 for destination.
