Please Read Description! 2005 Toyota Highlander, 4 cylinder, automatic, cold a/c, Runs and Drives excellent. Clean body with Nice paint and No dents. Cloth Interior is very nice for these vehicles (No tears, just minor staining from ever day use, would clean with proper detail) Very Nice rims and Michelin tires with excellent tread. Tow package. Overall vehicle has been well cared for. A little brief history. I am a Licensed Florida auto dealer. I specialize in salvage and rebuilt vehicles. I choose to sell these over traditional trade in auction vehicles, because they tend to be nicer and lower miles vehicles than the worn out junk that people dump at traditional auctions. Generally insurance vehicles were cars people were not getting rid of, but were taken from them by an insurance payoff. Anyways, This Toyota had very little damage when i got it. I replaced only the hood, bumper cover, right fender, and grill. I replaced the headlights because the originals were yellowing, and the new ones really make the truck stand out and look new. I have personally have been using this vehicle as my company driver for a few months and have put over 5K miles on it. The truck has run out excellent with no issues. I have really enjoyed this vehicle. There is only two minor things that i have noticed. 1) the radio volume button is a little sensitive 2) the right front inside door lock does not function with the door lock switch. This is a very common Toyota issue. My Camry has the same issue. It is usually the individual door lock actuator inside the door itself. These are the only flaws i have found with the vehicle. Very minor, but i wanted you to be aware of these. The vehicle comes with a standard Florida title w/a Rebuilt Branding. This title can registered in all 50 U.S states, and probably anywhere else in the world. Because of the Rebuilt branding the car is Sold As Is. Since we are a dealer, we are required to collect any title transfer fees and sales tax. There is no way around this unless you are a licensed dealer. If you are going to export this vehicle, i will refund any tax paid once I receive a Bill of Laden from the shipping company. For out of state buyers, you will get a notorized document stating you paid tax here, this is accepted in most states for the amount  tax paid. Also there is a $75.00 Dealer fee to help cover any extra expenses. If you are a serious buyer and need questions answered, then please call me directly at 321-213-3636 for immediate response. I welcome all to come inspect if possible. I make buying simple with a set Buy it Now Price of $6,950. I require a Deposit to keep real buyers "real"! Please call if you have questions and Thank you for looking!

Toyota releases its Le Mans recap, 'The Ultimate Endurance Race'

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

Two weeks ago, Audi released its short video about this years 24 Hours of Le Mans, and now Toyota has put the experience into its own words and pictures. Called The Ultimate Endurance Race, the clip and accompanying press release focus on how hybrid power helped Toyota claim second and fourth places with the TS030 Hybrid in just its second year competing at Le Mans.
There are some brief scenes of the battles had this year, like when Lucas di Grassi in the Toyota almost kissed Allan McNish in the Audi above, but the best part might be when Toyota promises it will be back. Next year, it's gonna be good. You'll find the relevant words and the images just below.

Toyota increasing Yaris Hybrid production to 222,000 this year in France

Mon, Feb 24 2014

More fuel economy means more factory workers and more production for Toyota's most popular model in Europe. That simple equation explains why the Japanese automaker is boosting annual production of its gas- and hybrid-powered Yaris compact vehicles at its French factory. The new number will be about 222,000, a 15 percent increase. To do that, Toyota will need to add about 500 workers to bring its total there to more than 4,000, UK's The Green Car Website says. Vive le Toyota! Toyota updated the European Yaris in the middle of 2011 and added a hybrid version later that year, the model has many fans across the pond. It helps that they hybrid is rated (using the friendlier European standards) at a whopping 81 miles per gallon, a tremendous number for a car that costs approximately $26,000. Toyota could soon have a bit more room in the small hybrid segment, since it was reported recently that Honda would discontinue European sales of its Insight and CR-Z hybrids soon. That decision was made easier because of increasing competition from Toyota, which boosted hybrid sales in Europe last year by 43 percent. In contrast, both the CR-Z and Insight experienced more than a 60-percent plunge in European sales in 2013.

The 2022 Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR 86 aftermarket upgrader's guide

Wed, Sep 1 2021

When you own an enthusiast car, there are few events more nerve-wracking than the introduction of its successor. Should you upgrade? Is it worthwhile? What will it cost you to part out your mods and trade up? Well, there's good news for owners of the outgoing Scion FR-S, Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ who are considering an upgrade: You might not have to start with a clean slate.  If you’re an owner (or even a casual fan) of the Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86 family of sports coupes, youÂ’re probably already aware that the 2022 models are more like aggressive overhauls than true, ground-up redesigns. Neither company really wants to put a spotlight on the fact that their coupes are a little less "all-new" and a little more "back and better than ever," but in our opinion, this is something Subaru and Toyota should embrace.  Why? In a word: continuity. Look no further than the NA (1989-1997) and NB (1999-2005) Mazda Miata. While they are regarded as distinct generations (the NA defined by its pop-up headlights and simpler lines; the NB by its fixed lamps and swoopier styling) and were offered with different equipment packages, the fundamental underlying chassis remained relatively unchanged. This meant that, in many cases at least, buyers could trade up to a new model but bring along some of their factory and aftermarket accessories because theyÂ’d still fit. The BRZ and GR 86 are meant to be fairly bare-bones vehicles, the idea being that they appeal to those who want limited frills at a low cost and those who prefer to view cars as canvases rather than finished masterpieces. A long-running platform makes an excellent candidate for the latter type of car buyer. So, what does that mean for the 2022 BRZ and GR 86? Well, let's break it down by whatÂ’s truly new, whatÂ’s kind-of-new, and whatÂ’s essentially carry-over, with some guidance from Subaru and Toyota engineers.  2022 Subaru BRZ blue action profile View 22 Photos Spankin' new LetÂ’s start with the obvious: the styling. Even if you can find older aftermarket appearance kits that will fit the new BRZ and GR 86 on paper, they probably wonÂ’t bolt up nicely to the new cars due to their sleek new exterior designs. Wings and spoilers might still bolt up, but donÂ’t count on it, and theyÂ’ll probably look disjointed at best anyway.
