I, the seller, purchased this vehicle for much over $6,000 from the Worldwide Auto Inc (located at 7051 WEST 2100 SOUTH - WEST VALLEY - UT – 84128, USA ) as an accident car this past year. Buyer will be provided with the original Bill of Sale from this company. I have replaced the front and rear bumpers, front grille, headlights, catalytic converter, manifold exhaust, air-filter box. This SUV is currently Non-Running because, when this seller took the vehicle to the second mechanic to help fixed the manifold exhaust/catalytic converter and air-filter box, but he ended up making wrong wire connections and each time he tried to start the vehicle, it burns the fuse. This vehicle has been transported from the Worldwide Auto Inc strorage facility in Comptron, California to Detroit, Michigan. So, it is currently located in Detroit, Michigan. This SUV is now being offered for sale because the buyer lost his job and no more money to fix the minor problems that remain to be fixed on this vehicle. I am not a mechanic, but according to my mechanic, buyer might need to have a good auto mechanic that knows about auto wiring. Also, the buyer might need to buy fuse(s) and lastly sensor(s). The airbag light is on, so the buyer will need his/her mechanic to check that out. Bidders are free to inspect the vehicle before placing a bid. Once the bid has been placed, it becomes final and will not be cancelled. A non-refundable payment of $1,000 US Dollars is due within 48 hours at the end of the auction and the outstanding balance will be due within seven days through bank wire transfer (seller will provide bank/wire transfer information to the lucky buyer at the end of the action). This vehicle is being sold AS-IS, and buyer is responsible for transport and/or shipping arrangements. However, seller can connect the buyer with the transport and shipping companies that ship to all over the world at an extremely cheaper rates. |

Toyota pimps out Esquire van for Japanese businessmen [w/video]
Wed, 29 Oct 2014A few months back we reported on a dealership owner in Japan who was petitioning Toyota to make a luxury van. The problem, he reasoned, was that he couldn't take as many friends, colleagues and clients around with him in his Lexus LS, and his Toyota Alphard van wasn't luxurious enough. Well, it seems like he wasn't alone, and Toyota has listened.
The Japanese auto giant has just revealed the Esquire, a new luxury van designed with just such customers in mind. It's significantly smaller than the Sienna we get in America, smaller than the aforementioned Alphard and about the same size as (this writer's favorite) the JDM Noah van (on which we gather it's based). But what sets the Esquire apart is its upscale appearance.
The boxy van is distinguished by its dominant T-shaped chrome grille with a unique emblem that encompasses a shield, sword, "the collar of a gentleman's suit" and the letters Esq. The flank is characterized by a strong beltline with chrome lower window frame and an expansive greenhouse with tinted rear glass. Inside the flexible cabin you'll find accommodation for seven or eight passengers (depending on specification), synthetic leather upholstery and wood and metallic trim. There are even wheelchair-enabled models on offer as well.
2015 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro priced from $41,285*
Fri, 29 Aug 2014Just a few weeks after announcing pricing for the first two members of its TRD Pro Series, Toyota has finally dropped the final pricing details on its new Tundra TRD Pro. Like the Tacoma TRD Pro, the Tundra will be available in two different body styles, with a more affordable Double Cab and a roomier Crew Cab.
Prices start at $41,285 for the former and $43,900 for the latter - not counting a hefty $1,100 destination charge - effectively slotting Toyota's off-road-ready model between the $41,730, Double Cab Limited and $46,465, Crew Cab-only 1794 Edition trucks.
As we've covered previously, the TRD Pro models come with a raft of off-road gear that should help combat just about any terrain a driver may stumble across. TRD-tuned Bilstein shocks and TRD-tuned front springs add two inches to the big truck's ride height while the black, 18-inch TRD wheels and available Inferno Orange paint add a bit of visual sass. A new TRD dual exhaust system is also standard, which can confirm sounds great (review coming soon!).
In Jamaica, it's not easy to sell or buy hybrid cars
Wed, Jan 15 2014Jamaica's mellow reputation and Rasta vibe contributes to an international reputation of an island nation that moves at a leisurely pace. And the term "leisurely" certainly applies to the rate of sales of hybrids there. And we thought Mitsubishi i sales in the US have been slow. The country's Toyota dealership is still in the process of explaining hybrid technology to many of its prospective customers, with the widespread perception remains that a standard Toyota Prius needs to be plugged in for electrical charging, the Jamaica Gleaner reports. Because of such slow exposure, Toyota has only sold about 10 hybrids in Jamaica since the Japanese automaker started selling them there in 2010. And we thought Mitsubishi i sales in the US have been slow. Toyota dealers in Jamaica continue to tout hybrid technology that can boost fuel economy by about 30 percent but are going up against the fact that Toyota's hybrids now need to be pre-ordered and aren't kept in stock because of sluggish demand. There's also the fact that Toyota's Japanese operations insist on an approval process that ensures the hybrids sent there can handle Jamaica's road conditions, and it typically takes three to four months for a Prius to get to Jamaica once ordered. Island locales provide a curious dichotomy for advanced-powertrain vehicles. On one hand, the driving distances tend to be relatively small, lengthening the amount of time it takes to pay back the original cost premium. On the flip side, importing fuel to islands makes gas prices skyrocket and can prove costly for the economy in island nations. Late last year, for instance, the government of another Caribbean nation, Barbados, estimated it spends about $250 million a year on gas used for personal vehicles. That's why the government there is pushing for more electric-vehicle adoption, though the number of EVs on the island was in the low double-digits as of mid-2013.
