UP FOR SALE IS A SILVER 2002 TOYOTA COROLLA LE WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WHICH IS THE TOP OF THE LINE COROLLA FOR THE 2002 MODEL YEAR.

THE CAR HAS NOT BEEN USED FOR THE PAST COUPLE OF MONTHS AND HAS JUST BEEN SITTING IN THE GARAGE SINCE WE BOUGHT A NEW CAR SO I HAVE DECIDED TO SELL IT.

THERE ARE NO CHECK ENGINE OR WARNING LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD. THE CAR HASN'T BEEN USED IN ALMOST 5 MONTHS SO I DON'T KNOW IF IT NEEDS ANY REPAIRS. ALL I KNOW IS THAT IT DOESN'T HAVE ANY LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD.

THE CAR RAN VERY WELL WHEN I USED IT LAST. I HAD TO JUMP START IT TO TURN IT ON WHEN I TOOK THE PICTURES FOR THIS LISTING BECAUSE IT HASN'T BEEN USED IN 5 MONTHS AND IT STILL RUNS VERY WELL.

I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND THIS CAR HAS BEEN VERY GOOD TO ME SINCE I BOUGHT IT.

YOU CAN SEE THE CONDITION OF THE CAR IN THE PICTURES. IT IS GOOD. THERE ARE SOME IMPERFECTIONS BUT THEN AGAIN, YOU'RE NOT PAYING MERCEDES MONEY FOR THIS CAR.

ABOUT A MONTH BEFORE I STOPPED USING THE CAR, I PUT 4 NEW TIRES ON IT SO YOU'RE PRACTICALLY GETTING NEW TIRES.

I THINK THIS CAR DOES NEED NEW BRAKES BUT I'M NOT SURE. THERE IS NO BRAKE LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE DASHBOARD.

IT NEEDS A NEW BULB FOR THE HEADLIGHT AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURE.

IT NEEDS TO BE CLEANED AS WELL. I HAVE NOT HAD TIME SO I HAVEN'T DONE IT BUT ONCE IT IS CLEANED UP INSIDE AND OUT, IT WILL LOOK VERY NICE.

THE RADIO WORKS. THE AIR CONDITIONING WORKS. THE POWER WINDOWS WORK. ALL THE SWITCHES FOR THE TRUNK AND GAS CAP WORK. I CAN'T REALLY THINK OF ANYTHING THAT DOESN'T WORK. IT HAS KEYLESS ENTRY.

THIS IS A GREAT CAR FOR ANYONE AND IT IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ON GAS. I'M SURE IT CAN DO AT LEAST ANOTHER 100,000 OR 200,000 MILES BECAUSE IT'S A TOYOTA!

SO PRETTY MUCH TO SUM IT UP, YOU GET A GREAT CAR FOR A GREAT PRICE.

I DON'T WANT TO PLAY GAMES. PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU ARE SERIOUS. ONCE YOU WIN, YOU MUST SEND $500 IMMEDIATELY THROUGH PAYPAL AND THE REST MUST BE PAID WITH A CASHIER'S CHECK ONLY

I WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY OTHER PAYMENT OTHER THAN A CASHIER'S CHECK.

REMEMBER WHEN YOU PICK UP THE CAR, IT WILL HAVE TO BE JUMP STARTED. THEN YOU CAN DRIVE IT AWAY.

Recharge Wrap-up: Model X pinch sensor update, Karma plans first store

Fri, Aug 26 2016

Tesla has improved Model X pinch sensor function in its latest over-the-air update. As we've seen, the pinch sensors already stop the falcon wing doors from completely shutting when they sense an obstruction. Now, though, the doors retract slightly after the sensors are triggered. While the pre-update doors didn't appear to do as much damage to human fingers as they do to various foodstuffs, it definitely looked uncomfortable, especially when one's hand is stuck in the partially closed door. Now, any pinch that does occur should be brief. See the updated sensors at work in the video above, and read more from Teslarati. Karma Automotive will move to Kawasaki's former headquarters in Irvine, California where it will also open its first store. The revival of the now defunct Fisker will sell its Revero plug-in hybrid through both dealerships and company-owned stores like the one planned for its new two-building campus. The property owner, Bixby, had planned to renovate the site, but now says Karma will make its own improvements. Bixby said it was seeking, "a progressive-minded tenant that would value the unique configuration," and appears to have found just that in Karma. Read more at Electrek, or from the OC Register. San Francisco is asking residents for help in expanding its subways. Using an online tool called Subway Vision, users can draw their own subway lines and stations that they'd like to see built and submit them to planners. Listening to the public is a useful tool for the city because, as Grahm Satterwhite, San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency's principal planner, admits, "Transportation planners may be too close to a problem to see the solution." This approach allows the subway expansions to "reflect the vision of not just a few transportation planners, but of all San Franciscans," he says. Read more from FastCo.Exist. Toyota is continuing its commitment to Yellowstone National Park with a sustainable Youth Campus for environmental education. The automaker donated $1 million to Yellowstone for the facility, which is seeking Living Building Challenge certification. It will have onsite wastewater treatment for its locally sourced water usage, and will generate all of its electricity needs from photovoltaic panels, with excess to put back into the grid. The campus will have classrooms and residences for students and staff for its youth programs.

Mini Minor to be co-developed with Toyota

Mon, Jan 26 2015

It was back in 2011 when Mini first showcased the prospect of an even smaller hatchback with the Rocketman concept at the Geneva Motor Show. In the nearly four years since, parent company BMW has hemmed and hawed on the possibility of putting it into production, but the latest word from Europe has it that the project is a go. According to Automobile magazine, Mini is realigning its product portfolio into five pillars: the essential hardtop we've already seen (available in two/three- and four/five-doors), the convertible, the upcoming new Clubman wagon (coming this summer with full-size auxiliary suicide doors on both sides), the next-gen Countryman crossover in 2016 and two new model lines. One will be the production version of the Superleggera roadster concept, earmarked for 2018. The other will be the Minor, a smaller city car reviving a long-gone model name and presaged by the aforementioned Rocketman concept. But for that last one, Mini won't go it alone. To develop the mini Mini, BMW will reportedly turn to its partnership with Toyota. The relationship is already set to yield a new Supra and Z4 and share fuel cell and other technologies. But this would broaden the partnership to include a small hatchback. However rather than use the existing (or next-gen) Aygo, which is already built under joint venture with PSA Peugeot Citroen (with which BMW previously had a joint engine venture), word has it that the BMW and Toyota will develop a new platform for the project – one that will be used by both partners. The new product plan doesn't leave much room for the Mini Coupe and Roadster (which have already been discontinued), for the Paceman three-door crossover (which will suffer the same fate) or for the projected seven-seater minivan. But the addition of the new Superleggera roadster and super-mini Mini aren't likely to leave us wanting for either. Related Video:
