CLEAR TITLE IN HAND READY FOR TRANSFER ALL READY TO GO. MANY COMPLIMENTS FROM FELLOW DRIVERS ALONG THE WAY TO LOCAL DMV, ITS HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION , THATS WHY I WANT TO SAVE THIS CAR BEFORE IT GETS DISMANTLED FOR PARTS :/ ITS A USED CAR FROM THE LATE 70'S, SO PLEASE EXPECT DINGS DENTS SCRATCHES BLEMISHES LIGHT SURFACE RUST WARE & TARE OVER THE YEARS . THE DASH GLOVE BOX HAS CRACKS, BUT INSIDE IS GOOD THOUGH , DRIVER DOOR & LEFT FENDER HAS MINOR DAMAGE THERE IS ALSO SOME MINOR DAMAGE FROM FORK LIFT FORKS SLIDING UNDERNEATH REAR SHOCK HOUSINGS MINOR SCRAPES BUT SHOCKS STILL WORK . I TOOK PICS OF ENTIRE UNDER CHASSIS TO SHOW HOW CLEAN IT IS, EVEN TRUNK TUB TOO. GLASS IS ALL GOOD FEW CHIPS BUT NOTHING MAJOR THE WEATHER RUBBERS AROUND DOOR FEELS SOFT, THE UNDERNEATH OF DOORS & HOOD HAS A SHINE STILL AS SEEN IN PICS & VIDEO THERE'S 5 NEW FALKIN TIRES ON 14" STEEL WHEELS. Toyota, Lexus dominate KBB's Best Resale Value Awards
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Toyota and Lexus stormed the 2014 Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value Awards, winning a combined 18 categories including best brand and best luxury brand. This marks the third year in a row that both automakers have won the Brand and Luxury Brand resale value awards. In all, Toyota won 11 categories and Lexus won seven.
Honda made a good showing, as well, winning two segments (Accord Plug-In Hybrid and Civic Si) and putting one car on the top-10 Best Resale Value list (CR-V). Chevrolet did even better, winning two segments (with the V6 Camaro and the Corvette) and placing three cars on the top-10-overall list (again, the Camaro and Corvette, plus the Silverado 1500).
The other winners came from Jeep, Dodge, Infiniti, Subaru and Audi. To give you a clearer picture of the Toyota and Lexus domination, their 18 mentions represents more than half of the 34 awards (including the top-10-overall list).
Toyota launches updated Yaris in Europe, Vitz in Japan [w/videos]
Wed, 23 Apr 2014Toyota first launched the Yaris in 1999, though that model was sold in the North America as the Echo. The second generation arrived in 2005, replaced by the third in 2011. Sometime next year, Toyota is expected to roll out a new Yaris for North America, to be built in Mexico on the same platform as the next Mazda2. But before that comes to pass, Toyota has introduced a mild facelift for the Yaris in markets other than ours.
With styling cues borrowed from the new Aygo and the Yaris Hybrid-R concept, the new Yaris (for Europe) and Vitz (for Japan) are distinguished by updated styling front and rear. Though the European model bears a more aggressive look than the JDM version, both feature the new X motif that seems to be the new look for the whole family - particularly for small hatchbacks.
The back end has also been revised to incorporate new LED taillights and a (faux) diffuser in the bumper. The cabin, meanwhile, has been redesigned to feel roomier and quieter with upgraded equipment. The suspension has also been refined, and in Europe at least, Toyota will continue to offer the Yaris with a choice of 1.0- or 1.3-liter gasoline engines, 1.4-liter diesel or hybrid powertrains.
